I'm so excited to be the first to review this business. So February has Valentines Day. What…read morebetter way to express love than with some bath/shower products I have been absolutely in LOVE with! Pamper yourself or someone you love with these awesome finds. In a nutshell, I love Healdsburg Bath and Body* (abbreviated by me as "HB&B"--oh how I love acronyms). Shameless plug: More detailed information on this place is on my blog at http://shineandsparklereport.blogspot.com/2014/02/ssr-product-reviews-healdsburg-bath-and.html What I love about HB&B are the following: 1) You can recognize all the ingredients. This is also great because you are really getting a pure product without a bunch of fillers. 2) They work amazingly. Because of the wonderful ingredients, these products work really wonderfully to take care of and pamper yourself. They feel absolutely luxurious. 3) Product Fragrance. The fragrances of the products are unique and sumptuous. The owner Yen Chesley, really has impeccable taste when it comes to picking scents that really last. You will exit your shower into a room filled with the wonderful fragrance and it will linger for a bit on your skin (perfect for smelling as you are going to bed after a relaxing bath or shower). Now for the #1 product that have made me want to take a trip to wine country and stockpile HB&B products: Blackberry Sage Sugar Scrub: Divine. Consists of a blend of high quality skin moisturizing oils and sugar. Pure, natural, simple, and smells absolutely heavenly. I wish they invented smelling over the internet for this one. There is really no good way to express how much I love the smell of this. It fills your bathroom, clings to your skin, surrounding you with a warm spa blackberry smell. Smells sweet, clean, slightly herbal, luxurious, and not like candy. I'm in love. There are a few Ms. Sparkles tips about using this product. ----Wash with your favorite soap first. Because this is so moisturizing, you will probably want to wash with your favorite soap first to get that "clean" feeling. Then go in with this awesome product. ----Small amount goes a long way to exfoliate and moisturize your body simultaneously. -----No need to lotion afterwards, towel off after rinsing to remove the last traces of excess oil and your skin will be baby soft. -----Be careful not to slip in the shower. Heavy on the moisture and oil means slippery tub! Don't crack your head open please! I have 2 more products I love but I will let you read about them here: http://shineandsparklereport.blogspot.com/2014/02/ssr-product-reviews-healdsburg-bath-and.html I'm going to have to make a trip to Healdsburg soon to get more body scrub! I'm pretty sure now that I have tried it, I can't live without it. Not having to use lotion after showering is such a time saver!

While visiting Healdsburg, my wife and I stopped by this beautiful little bath and body shop. It…read morewas quite small but the customer service here was impeccable. We found some great products here that definitely work well with my wife's sensitive skin. We bought a sugar based exfoliation rub that smells great. I recommend buying it from here because my wife's skin feels great and refreshing. Please stop by and visit this place.

UPDATE: I am sharing an update to my initial review (please see below for my original review) based…read moreon a new interaction with this business, which reflects both my firsthand experience and opinions. While it is not easy to step forward and leave a negative review, particularly in light of the doctor's seemingly retaliatory actions, I feel it is important for me to do so. The response from the business owner is fairly consistent with my overall experience, in that it contains deflection and defensiveness instead of any accountability. I wish I could say that what he just posted shocks me, but seeing a combination of falsehoods as well as legally protected, private patient medical record information shared on a public forum without patient consent is perhaps what I should have expected, disappointing and harmful as it is. It actually saddens me quite a bit to continue to witness a medical doctor behave this way towards vulnerable patients who once placed their trust in him. Why deliberately inflict this kind of emotional harm on a patient when they have already been through so much being physically harmed, as well? So, not only did I get my nose botched necessitating a complete surgical revision by a top rhinoplasty expert, but now I am subjected to further unprofessional conduct with what appears to be Dr. Jacobs' attempted public humiliation of a private patient here on Yelp. This along with other remarks is arguably harassing and I believe it violates the Yelp guidelines. Also, look at my before photos, they look nothing like what was stated by him; that is absurd to suggest. I had beautiful natural ethnic nostrils and I repeatedly underscored the importance of *retaining* my bold ethnic features. I can never get them back now, as the procedure he performed is irreversible. I believe Dr. Jacobs is likely twisting a jokingly made private comment out of context in order to try to protect himself and malign me or discredit my honest review and experience. Further, at no time did he offer to surgically fix any of his mistakes, he only offered filler to try to cover up the crater he caused on the tip of my nose. It is also untrue to claim I went to see him for what he has publicly stated. Was that comment made to try to embarrass me, or are his records that inaccurately maintained? Concerning either way. Even if that particular remark were true, why would any part of my private patient medical records be shared online without my consent? Why would any medical doctor behave in this manner? I have never seen anything like it. My initial reason for meeting Dr. Jacobs is and will remain private as part of my legally protected medical records. I would urge anyone seeking out a trusted facial plastic surgeon to check credentials, read all the bad Yelp reviews, look closely at photos shared and the stories from patients, and proceed with extreme caution. Experiencing botched facial surgery is not a journey I would wish on anyone. It robs you of a life you loved. As such, if my review helps spare even one more botched patient, then sharing my experience will have been worth it. There are many wonderful, skilled, and genuinely caring surgeons out there. As you can see based on Dr. Jacobs' most recent actions towards me as well as my results, in my opinion unfortunately he is not one of them.

Within two days friends were telling me I was glowing and asking about my beautiful skin. After two weeks my skin was smoother, looked refreshed, and required less of my skincare products because they absorbed better. I've also been in for Dysport injections. If I could give her zero stars I would. I went in for lip filler and Botox, and the appointment took over three hours, mostly due to poor time management -- she's never on time. After my first-ever lip filler, Julie told me to watch for any "white dots" and contact her if they appeared. The next day, I noticed a white spot in the center of my lip and reached out immediately. She confirmed it was a vascular occlusion, which can cause permanent damage if not treated right away. When I arrived for treatment, Julie wasn't at her salon. She texted that she'd "be right back," but I ended up waiting over an hour, along with what another client who was also waiting. Once she arrived, the appointment dragged on for another three hours -- and she still didn't properly treat the affected area. She promised to meet me after work to finish treatment but showed up 45 minutes late, and decided not to wait any longer since it was already 9pm. She texted me at 9:30 saying she was there claiming she'd lost her phone, even though she told me she was in the car going straight to me. A couple of days later, she met with me for the second attempt and again for another three-hour session, but unfortunately, the issue still wasn't resolved. I now need to see a doctor to make sure no lasting damage. Overall, this experience was stressful, unprofessional, and concerning for my health. I recommend finding a more trustworthy and reliable injector.

Plus my friends daughter is going to school hair & figured since I needed my hair cut anyways I might as well let her do it so she can learn. I made my appointment a few weeks in advanced for a Saturday that my friends daughter would be there, I also requested her by name to make sure I got her. Now I will tell you right off the bat, don't expect this to be an in and out process. You have to remember that these are students learning their craft so they are not just going to cut your hair on the fly. They have instructors at the facility that watch & help the students. The students are able to ask questions and ask for help from their instructor so that they do things correctly (they don't want to send you home with a mohawk unless of course that was the cut you asked for). And when they are done the instructor has to sign off on it so to speak. If you like any of the products that they use on your hair, they sell them there so you don't have try and find it a a local store. Can't beat $10 for a shampoo, conditioning, cut & style. So even if you don't know anyone attending school at Lytle's you're helping new stylists, manicurists, estheticians, etc, by scheduling a cut, color, manicure, etc., and letting them practice what they've learned under the guidance of instructors. Help those that help you look your best!
