I understand the need to get customers but I'm surprised that the Mall lets people run around the Mall thoroughfares and physically accost girls by forcibly putting makeup on their faces. Kinda shocking. Some people like it, but I get the feeling most people don't, cuz the majority of people I know are consistently complaining about this kind of thing in some malls. So my suggestion would be that they ask such stores to not employ such tactics, but then maybe it's the only way they stay in business, how do I know. Perhaps they can offer them financial incentives to not do this, then the Mall gets to be a better place to shop, and the store doesn't lose much money. I personally am way more likely to take Barbie to a place that doesn't employ this tactic.

She's an older woman and very cold. The products are great and the displays are beautiful. However, my husband and I both have encountered this woman in recent months and it's just enough to make me go elsewhere. I'll travel into Houston for future Bath Junkie trips. If you own or manage a store, it's not winning customers over to ignore their questions or snap back with an answer. I've unfortunately never had an enjoyable experience at this location in over five years of shopping. Obviously, others have enjoyed better experiences and I'm pleased for them. I was called and recruited for a phone interview, and eventually was scheduled for a in person interview on Sunday June 21st @ 11am, which was Father's Day. Mind you, I was not new to Sephora, and had worked as a beauty advisor for an Austin location for over 2 years, and being a licensed cosmetologist for over 15 years, I had positive vibes. Also being scheduled for the in person, that i had a good chance. It did not take me long to feel the vibe switch quickly. My interview was @ 11, and the store didn't open until 12pm. The employees scattered around the store,sitting on the floor unpacking boxes, and trying to get situated with tasks before the store opened. I am standing at the door knocking to be let in, and they see me doing such as if i am not there. I proceed to knock harder, until someone came to open the door and let me in. I was told the manager would be with me shortly. I quickly realized that this was not going to be somewhere that i wanted to work. The manager approaches me and introduces herself and we go out into the mall and sit down at a table for the interview. Before wrapping up the interview, she assures me that the district manager would be in touch to further get acquainted, and next steps. I knew she was lying, and i had no interest in the role anymore. The lack of integrity, and lies was unnecessary. Just say that you are actively recruiting for the role, and someone may or may not reach back out. Also the lack of diversity and inclusion of the employees was crystal clear. That was my first and last time ever stepping foot in that Sephora, they would never get any of my business if that was the last Sephora standing. The assistant store manager Michelle greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. I told her the specific brushes I was looking for and she pulled some sample ones from her apron to confirm that they were the correct brushes. She quickly grabbed them for me and asked me if I needed any other products. Michelle and I started chatting at the register. I explained that I don't shop at MAC stores often because there aren't any near me. The downside is that I'm not able to accrue points when I purchase MAC products from department stores like Macy's and Nordstrom. Michelle said she would be happy to text me when they have store specials, coupons, etc. She also explained that they will ship products directly from the store for free. I provided my phone number and within minutes, Michelle texted me from the MAC clientele messaging number. The personalized message was so nice and I have not been bombarded with text messages which I truly appreciate. Thank you, Michelle for providing excellent customer service!

A car is parked in the only curbside spot. The front did not answer the phone so I asked the salon if they can let them know someone is waiting. Girl proceeds to walk past my car which is parked right in front of the store which I noted in the curbside comments when I checked in. Rolled down my window to let her know.
