This Ulta has the worst customer service ever. Writing a review today since someone named Zoe was a tad bit condescending. Did curbside bc I have children in the car. A car is parked in the only curbside spot. The front did not answer the phone so I asked the salon if they can let them know someone is waiting. Girl proceeds to walk past my car which is parked right in front of the store which I noted in the curbside comments when I checked in. Rolled down my window to let her know. She comes to my side, looks across at the curbside park clearly taken and says next time park in the curbside spot. Seriously, this generation is lost. Aurora was very helpful and prompt when I asked her for help for a new concealer to try out. She consulted me in which concealer worked the best to cover my dark circles from lack of sleep. The concealer that I wanted especially for my eyes was out of stock. She didn't hesistate to check if there was anymore concealer in stock. If you like to be ignored and have people laugh and border line bully you, definitely go here! I went in on multiple occasions to get my hair done and several times in a row they did not do what I asked them to. Most recently I went in for some very slight highlights, almost Sunkissed to give my hair some dimension for my engagement photos that weekend. This was the first time I have ever chemically altered my hair, and I was very nervous, but Jessica assured me even after asking several questions about hair color that it would come out just right the way she was going to do it. This being the very first time I've ever done this to my hair I decided to trust the process. Boy was I wrong, instead of giving me the Sunkissed almost mushroomy look I had wanted to give my hair some dimension. She left my hair bleached, and only bleached!!! I did not want to become a blonde or someone who looks like they had a cheap hair style done. On top of that she did an awful job threading through my hair and left one side more blonde than the other!! And for my engagement photos too!!! I ended up canceling my engagement photos that weekend, because I was so upset and shocked with how my hair turned out. After the fact, my sister assured that they can fix it and I understand their policies for not being able to extend a refund or even a chance to fix my hair because I've already chemically altered it, but the woman I spoke to on the phone instead of giving me a chance to say anything immediately hung up after saying "we don't offer refunds after you've already chemically altered your hair." That just shows me that they don't care about their customers and don't care to see their customers coming back and this is a customer who will NOT be coming back. read more

Rania and her team at the Baybrook Ulta saved my day and my hair!! I asked for my roots to be touched up at night before at the Ulta in Kemah and they made my blonde hair brown... with hot roots. I only wanted a root touch up but they mixed the wrong colours to start with then brushed it down the rest of my hair. They knew it was nothing like I wanted and they did try to use a clarifying shampoo but it didn't help. I went into the Baybrook location the next day as soon as they opened and Rania fixed everything wrong with my hair! In fact, she pointed out that there were roots in the back were not even touched! Her entire staff in the salon were kind and very professional. After Rania finished my hair- I felt pretty again- not like I was radiating some hot roots vibes. It seriously looked so much better and I will not even buy a tube of mascara from the Kemah location ever again. Rania and her team rock!!! read more

I stopped in this Webster Ulta location to discuss the pitiful state of my curly, old lady hair. One of the stylists, Kaitlyn Gordon, was available to not only talk with and advise me, but miraculously had time available at right then to "fix" my hair. Kaitlyn did a fabulous job; I got a great layered haircut and will be returning to her for future hair care. This was a terrific experience. read more

I like Ulta because I get points that earn money off. And because they have a mix of drugstore and high end beauty products. I don't like Ulta, because of the seemingly lack of education their associates have. I previously worked at Sephora and know that educating their staff is a priority to be able to service their customers. And I know the opposite can be said about Ulta, but yet I still go. This particular Ulta, I was in skincare for almost 10 mins and I had to go ask for help. And when I got help, she read to me what it says on the shelf about the product, which I had already read. I should have known better to not expect too much. Also and this is in all stores I have visited, there seems that's at peak times, there is always only 1 cashier available. This is my second time visiting this store and likely my last. I will stick to shopping online or at Sephora. Although they are growing, stores are closing and that's because consumers don't feel the need to come into your stores! read more

Stood in line for 20 minutes hoping to get the $100 gift card...that didn't happen...whomp! Whomp! Whomp! Haha Came for the grand opening weekend. Tons of fun..little game and prizes throughout our shopping. I didn't think the set up was far off from the original location but not a bad thing. I didn't think anything was hard to find; easy to look around and locate a section. My friend and I stumble upon a brand called Truly. The ingredients weren't overwhelming, easy to pronounce, and seemed pretty clean. Not to mention the presentation of the bottles are so cute! Trying out the product now and hoping I love it! If you have tried them please let me know what you think! I love the gift sets that they have available and I feel like they offer more coupons and deals than Sephora. I know they just opened but I'm hoping they have the discounted section like they did at the original location. Scored awesome deals from that rack...dip powder for $2!! I placed an order on cyber Monday.. purchased a baby bliss flat iron, which came with a free travel iron, on line special promotion.. I did the store pick up not risking any lost or stolen packages.. Saturday was suppose to be the last pick up date. I called the store I spoke to an associate asking if it would be OK that I would pick up on Sunday since I had an emergency on Saturday.. she informed me that my product would be safe and I had the end of Sunday to pick it up. I had to ask her. Does she need to know my name my order number because how would she know what to hold so after giving her my name, she guaranteed me that my product would be save till upon arrival during store business hours.. I arrive around 2 o'clock and was told that my product was back on the floor due to non-pick up. I explained to them that I spoke to somebody the day before and want she told me.. after speaking to a manager and showing her my confirmation, they went ahead and gave me the cyber Monday sales price because now it is back to normal pricing.. But the thing is the manager was not aware of any of the cyber Monday deals, which to me, was kind of weird because I know I'm not the only one that did pick up and I speaking to the young girl that was in the front she even told me she had a lot of those coming in for pick up and would hold that my item was still in stock.. so how is the manager not gonna be aware of what the sale deal is going on? She pretended that she had no idea that the arm that I purchased came with the free gift so she refused to give me my free travel.. as a manager, I would think you would be aware of what should be going on.. and not only that maybe there needs to be some more proper training on the associates that aren't answering the phone and that are giving out false information.. I had to purchase my item and I will have to wait up to nine business days to get my money refunded when this issue shouldn't even have gone this far. Melissa was very rude to me. She came up to me and wanted me to move so she could show a product to a customer that I was looking at and swatching. She said "oh excuse me" very rudely and stepped in front of me. I asked her "am I in your way?" and she completely ignored me and just went on showing the product to the customer. Is that how Ulta treats it customers? My daughter and I come to this store almost every week and there are some great associates here but not Melissa. This new location is so clean and well organized! There seems to be a wider variety of brands and a nice selection of cosmetics from each. Some of the shelves seemed a bit empty, but I'm guessing they're still stocking them. The staff was friendly and ready to help point us in the right direction. The Manager I think named Stephanie she helped me with my brats Chloe online order in store shop to home since the store has been out of Bratz products for weeks. She was EXTREMELY helpful and so knowledgeable and just someone I could be friends with. I love Her spirit and knowledge for the procedures and helped me get on my way with in min and still got what I needed even though it was out of stock which I expected. I just didn't know she bills order it to my home and still just pay in store! That was so helpful! Thank you please give the person who rang me out and helped do all the mgr stuff for me some much needed praise from the higher ups bec without people like her I would not shop there. I hate Sephora for this very reason as they have employees who always think you regretted to just steal and not actually be interested in merchandise to buy and stalk you instead of actually help you! hello my name is elizabeth otero nyc-l.e.s.. i have placed so many orders with ulta and unfortunately the most expensive order never received because lasership did not deliver to my home not only the signature does not match but they never took a picture of delivery and said it was left with security / mailbox---hello i live in the projects (we do not have security -the security is the police_also they do not have access to the keys for the mailbox. i spent $154.60 and called twice customer service and they are giving me a run around of excuses. all i want is my refund - and because i needed the products i placed a second order-who does that?????? but i will escalate this to the better business bureau because i am fed up of these shippers stealing or whomever is stealing and lying and then the customer has to pay the price..... read more
