I ask another associate, who at least tried to call someone to look in the back, but the person she called was the same person who didn't want to look for me. I try to find another product. Same deal. I ask an associate, and she doesn't want to look in the back, saying that maybe someone stole it, and that's why it is saying it is in stock. Very disappointing, and Sephora has lost money and potentially a Rouge customer. FYI, messiest Sephora I have ever been in.

She was calm and patient and kind to our son, who was definitely nervous, but made the experience so much easier for him. Also, there are several brands and products that are exclusively sold at Ulta and no other brick and mortar location. At this location there's a wide variety of hair products and hair tools, skin care, fragrances, makeup as well as a trial sized section. The staff working at this Ulta location are very knowledgeable about the products and are ready to answer any questions. There are several services this Ulta location offers, I haven't utilized any of them, so I can't comment on the quality. They offer ear piercing. Hair services, such as haircuts, color and style. They also offer eyebrow services and makeup for a special event. I enjoy shopping at Ulta of West Hartford, and I'll continue shopping here in the future.

She gave me a few good tips and pointers. She also explained to me why she prefers Keratin over the relaxer. I of course asked her opinion. The shop is run on decency and in order. They don't leave you sitting under the dryer just waiting until they finish another job. Once they hear the dryer alarm go off, someone promptly comes and gets you to continue doing your hair. I like the fact that there's a big of a minimalist perspective here too. They have beautiful decor, but it's not over done like in some beauty salons. I can say I will come back again for sure. If I lived in CT., this shop would definitely be the place for me.

I showed her reference photos of a half-up, half-down style I've had before with no issue. She didn't mention any concerns, but after curling for 20 minutes, she said my hair "couldn't be curled." I have long, untreated hair and even offered suggestions that have worked in the past, but she dismissed them. The final style looked nothing like the photos--lopsided, messy, bobby pins exposed--and started falling apart soon after. I had to go back before my event just to have it taken down. A different stylist removed the pins and apologized. I paid $104 and ended up redoing my hair myself in a hotel lobby before the wedding rehearsal. I got light pink highlights & she killed it! Tori was very sweet & patient, & paid attention to details as she worked. I didn't feel pressured to talk the whole time (even read some) but she kept the vibes calm & friendly. She talked me through the steps she was doing to my hair, and DJ stepped in to assist with taking out the foils & blowdrying my hair since I had a time constraint. The salon itself is big, open & very clean; & while it's trendy, it still feels very welcoming (natural colors & accents, nothing too flashy). Prices are steep but I feel they match the service level. Heads-up: the owner has her large dog in shop -- very sweet, but good to be aware of if you're intimidated by big dogs or have allergies.
