I have been sick for three days, hoping it would clear up, but it didn't. I went to the doctor…read more They wrote me two prescriptions and sent it to Walgreens. This was at 4:20. The pharmacy closes at 7 o'clock, so I thought that would be plenty of time. At 6:30 everything was still showing processing. My husband got in the car and drove to Walgreens and he got there at 6:58. They had put the gates down and he rattled the gates and didn't find anybody. I had called them when he was on his way and said that he was on his way. They didn't even have the courtesy to wait till he showed up so I could get my prescriptions. They had closed earlier than 7. I have changed my prescriptions and I'm now going to use CVS on Washington Street in Middletown. That was the worst customer service. I had even told the gentleman I spoke to that I really needed the medicine. He didn't care to stay around but they closed at least two minutes early or earlier so they need to change their pharmacy hours to 9 AM to 6:58 PM or earlier

I had ink from an old microblading service I received almost 4 years ago that had turned into a…read morefaded blue/gray bc my previous artist used black ink on me. Danielle took the time to lighten this old ink as much as possible before color correcting it and then re-doing my eyebrows. We ended up going with microblading with some shading since I still wanted to keep a more natural look. My results are pure perfection. Danielle listened to my wants and concerns, and achieved the exact look I was going for. This is SO important to chose an artist who actually cares about the result you are looking for, as my previous artist used a shade I did not want, and did not give me the volume and definition I was looking for. She also went very deep in my skin, making the old ink very hard for us to lift. Please make sure you do your research when choosing your permanent makeup artist. I can ASSURE you, Danielle delivers 100% professional excellence.

I used to be a regular at Sally starting when they gave you an actual Rewards Card for points on…read moreyour purchases back in the day. Then I started buying products online especially before and now during Covid (it's a small store, a little claustrophobic even) because I had problems finding what I wanted and the staff were never that helpful (you'd get that look like you were annoying them). Unfortunately, that hasn't changed & it's gotten worse. The nail supplies used to be in the front of the store for many years but now it's all hair color supplies in the front, in the middle and in the back with only a very tiny selection of nail polish, files & supplies (so we'll hidden I had to ask again where they were). I went there, hesitantly, after a hair salon recommended I go to look at the Wella Hair Color & Developer and swore that the staff would help me choose a color, answer any questions I might have about ingredients (allergic to Glycerin) and how to do the coloring system since it's different than L'Oreal that I used when I couldn't get to my hairdresser. Just as I thought would happen, I got very little help or assistance. I had to keep going from the front of the store over to her in the middle of the store to ask where I could find certain items that I had saved as Favorites on their App. I asked for help choosing a color and was told to pick what I think I might look good on me. I had questions about products I picked out but again, she wasn't that helpful especially when another worker came in and they started talking while stocking products. Oh and the young woman told me to go in YouTube to see how to put the hair color & developer together, etc. So if I do go back to Sally, it'll never be to the Wallingford store, ever. Hopefully the Hamden or another town's branch will have more helpful staff and a better store layout so it's easier to find products on my own.
