All I had to do was upload a photo and check my email. The young women who work in the office of which I met three, were all unbelievably sunny, joyous, and extremely positive and professional. There wasn't one time I visited when they weren't smiling. Very kind and understanding people. Doctor Khosh was extremely intelligent, extremely experienced and perfectly professional. Most of all he was approachable and treated me like a real human being because he himself is one. The work he did was explained very clearly. My expectations were set and reality expectations as far as the procedure is concerned. I'm extremely happy with the results! He has a deft hand and is very skilled. The entire experiences wonderful.

I am so grateful for him because he not only gave me back all the characteristics of my birth nose, he brought back my confidence. I had broken my nose 2 years ago and needed a minor fix/reset. I went to a different surgeon for a primary rhinoplasty and was distraught that they left me with a very scooped out bridge, overly upturned tip, and breathing issues that I never had. I was so upset because I felt like I lost my identity and it completely changed my face. I began to search for a different surgeon that could hopefully help bring back what I had lost. I consulted with 6 different surgeons but the day I met Dr. Khosh, I knew he was the one for me. He had the confidence and experience to restore my nose to its natural beauty and function. I knew this because of his results from other patients, artistry, and his thorough analysis in our consultations. It was a challenge to find trust in someone to fix this because revision rhinoplasties are very complex and require specific skills sets. That is one of the many attributes that sets Dr. Khosh apart from other surgeons. He does not do a cookie cutter approach; he has an immense amount of techniques that he has mastered over years of experience with the highest honors to help any issue. My experience at his office was amazing- Judy, Adina, and the whole staff were so helpful and warm. Dr. Khosh met with me multiple times throughout the year because I had so many questions which he patiently answered thoroughly. He encouraged communication to understand what my goals were. I was never rushed in any of our meetings and because he has an artistic background, he was able to explain exactly how he would get me back as close as possible to my birth nose. His work is not only natural, it is so personalized, making his patients get results that are beautiful and unique to them. All of the other surgeons I met with explained that it was impossible to get the specific characteristics that I wanted back in my nose, but Dr. Khosh proved them wrong and did it! (...and did it BEAUTIFULLY.) He walked me through every detail of the surgical plan which was to take cartilage from my ear to build up my bridge and reposition a graft in my tip to lower it to its original rotation. He even had back up plans if something came up during surgery! He set realistic expectations of results and recovery which I very much appreciated. The surgery itself went so smoothly. Dr. Khosh eased my anxieties and I knew Dr. Khosh was prepared to do his absolute best for me. He truly cares about his patients and wants to achieve their goals just as much as they do! He was in constant communication with me before and after the surgery. My recovery was not bad at all- I had minor soreness, some bruising, and swelling. I only needed to take tylenol to manage the pain. A week after my surgery, Dr. Khosh carefully took my cast off and when I looked in the mirror I burst into tears of joy. I recognized myself again and my nose looks almost identical to my birth nose! I also can breathe perfectly! I am still in disbelief of what he accomplished yet not surprised because he is the best doctor I have ever met. My friends and family were shocked that I looked like my original self again! He did what others said was impossible. Dr. Khosh is a kind, humble, and caring person who holds his professionalism to the highest level. I look like my family again, I look like me again, and I feel like the best version of myself because of Dr. Khosh. He truly changed my life and if it was possible to give him 10000000/10 stars I would. I couldn't recommend him enough for anything face/neck related-cosmetic or reconstructive. Thank you Dr. Khosh!

I received my CAT scan, went in for my second visit with Dr. P and we scheduled the surgery to correct my severely deviated septum. I am now around two months out of surgery and I have to say it was the best thing I've ever done in my life. I wish I would've done it sooner. He is one of the best doctors ever!!! He called the next day to check on me and make sure I was feeling OK. The surgery went smoothly and he reiterated that I had a severely deviated septum that that he straightened. Five stars is not nearly enough for Dr. Charles Thorne, the man who gave me my life back…read more My story is as follows. In the beginning of 2020, I had a deep plane facelift with a "triple board", 5 star facial only surgeon in Orange, CT. I had the beginning of slight jowling, (the only thing that bothered me). Although he did a good job on my jowls, my ears went from small, unattached to horrific, pulled down pixie ears that looked glued to my face. As if that were not bad enough, the worst possible thick, red, ropey scars around them. My tragus was flat, (I didn't even know what a tragus was prior to a lift but once it is gone you will know because you will look weird). The original doctor did 3 rounds of steroids which made the scars flatter but wider. My sideburn hair was gone so I will need a hair transplant there. The scars under my hairline were also thick and lower than he told me it would be. I had makeup tattooed there but it did not help much to cover the scars. I looked fine from the front IF my hair was in front of my ears. If the wind blew I looked like a freak. I had to cover the scars with tons of makeup but you could still see them. I declined vacations with friends even though I told them I had a fl. My life consisted of work, reading, netflix and googling reasons why bad face lifts happen. In my case too much skin was removed as well as too much tension. I decided to try and find someone to give me a scar revision. I was told I would need a mini lift or a V-Y plasty (that would leave a 1-2 inch scar along your cheek to jawline) After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on consultations, I found either the surgeons don't want to fix someone else's mess, or they don't know how. But I did notice the look of horror when they examined my ears. A couple of doctors had even suggested going back to the original doctor. My doctor said he will need to do a redo mini lift and it will only cost me $1K for the local anesthesia (Of course I had to pay for hotels, not to mention a couple of weeks off work) Well the same thing happened, I should have known if he didn't do it right the first time he doesn't know what he's doing. I spent thousands on lasers that did nothing to help the scars. I came across Dr. Ronald Edelson in San Diego whom I considered going to. During his consultation he told me he fixes many pixie ears from bad surgery. His work on instagram is very natural, the only problem was he is across the country. I then came across Gia and another woman's review of Dr. Thorne and how he did their revisions (for other issues) and they were happy. Looking at Dr. Thorne's instagram, I noticed doctors commenting on how brilliant he is. I felt hope for the first time in 3 years. Dr. Thorne is incredible. He fixes ears that were bitten off by a dog, or mangled in an accident or children born with deformed ears. Check his work out. Dr. Thorne suggested against a V-Y plasty (which was how my original doctor wanted to fix it for a 3rd time.) due to the scar it would leave along my jaw line. Fast forward, I had my surgery, a pixie ear revision but with a slight facelift. My ears are like they were prior. The thick scars all around my ears are now gone and look like normal facelift scars. He removed a ton of scar tissue to give me back my tragus. He even pulled up the scars along my hairline near my neck so they look much better. My friends & family could not believe the difference. How he did this without making me look like Joan Rivers I don't know. My face came out even better than I thought possible. I think it came out even better than the doctor thought possible. A revision is not as simple as a facelift. A 3rd revision takes real talent and many doctors just can't do it. Make sure when considering a facelift you look at ears, scars, tragus and not just the jaw line. If hair is covering those areas in the after picture that is not a good sign. If they have a billboard or spend a lot of money on advertising, be careful. If they have an exceptional amount of reviews be careful. Thank you Dr. Thorne!

A complete disaster…read more This review is based on my personal experience with Dr. Thorne. In 2014 I had my first deviated septum surgery together with rhinoplasty and otoplasty by a Dr. in New York City. After recovery, it was clear that my breathing didn't get any better, and the aesthetic outcome was very underwhelming. A few years past and I was ready to fix all of the above and go through the revision procedure. I met with a plastic surgeon in New York City who said he doesn't specialize in otoplasty, and he highly recommended Dr. Thorne for the revision. I looked online, and Dr. Thorne seemed very promising. I booked my appointment and met Dr. Thorne in his office on the upper east side. He was amiable and asked me to point out my concerns. In a detailed conversation, I shared everything I wanted to address in the revision surgery. We met a few more times to review things, and on multiple occasions, Dr. Thorne repeatedly said, "I can probably make it better," referring to all three concerns mentioned. I set up a revision surgery for all three issues with full trust and a good feeling about Dr. Thorne, helping with my deviated septum, rhinoplasty, and otoplasty. The price tag was high, but Dr. Thorne made me feel confident, and I did everything I could to come up with the money and move forward with the procedure. On the morning of the (first) surgery, Dr. Thorne and I reviewed everything we discussed previously. I made it very clear to Dr. Thorne that I want the most minimal intervention; specifically, I requested not to alter the bridge of my nose and the upper part. I wanted him to focus on the tip of the nose, the deviated septum for the breathing, and the ears. The surgery time was set for 3.5 hours but ended up being 6.5 hours, 3 hours longer than expected. I woke up from the anesthesia later with a patch of tape on my eye with a stinging feeling. Dr. Thorne accidentally slit the surface of my eye during surgery!!! At my state, post-surgery, while slowly coming out of the anesthesia, I couldn't discuss what went wrong and the root cause for the complications, specifically the damage to my eye. Therefore I got discharged and was picked up to start my recovery. At home, while recovering, I've started noticing a few things which alarmed me and made me question the success of the surgery. My left eye was bleeding due to the cut I've experienced during the surgery. My left eye had to remain shut to avoid the burning sensation. As per Dr. Thorne, this happened on accident, since they "forgot" to tape down my eyes during the surgery. Secondly, once the swelling around my nose subsided, I noticed a huge dent in my nose, which left it crooked and deformed, as seen in the image attached. Needless to say, that during our pre-surgery consultation, this was not the intended shape of the nose and was an unnecessary alteration of my nose. Lastly, the ears looked asymmetrical. They had visible scarring and hard creases, which remain until this day, making my everyday life uncomfortable while wearing a mask, sunglasses, or merely holding the phone to my ears. During the check up appointments, Dr. Thorne admitted that revision surgery is required to correct the mistakes made, as described above. We've set a new date for the revision surgery, and Dr. Thorne covered in full the revision, taking responsibility for the outcome. Although this offer was expected, another surgery meant more down-time and recovery, which took a toll on me financially as a creative freelancer due to my inability to commit to projects. The revision surgery outcome was far from satisfying, and the experience became traumatic on physical and psychological levels. After recovering from the revision surgery, Dr. Throne admitted that another surgery might be necessary. At this point, I met with a few plastic surgeons for a second opinion. They were surprised at the outcome since Dr. Throne is a renowned plastic surgeon, but all agreed, as did Dr. Throne, that an additional revision should be made. After selecting the new plastic surgeon, they've contacted Dr. Throne's office to learn about both procedures. When I inquired regarding a refund to fund the surgery with another doctor, Dr. Throne cut communication with me in a defensive email, which implied that he wouldn't refund the revision through a different doctor. Until this day, two years later, I'm suffering the consequences of these surgeries and am looking at another revision to fix what frankly should have been avoided in the first place. Dr. Throne is a renowned and respected \ doctor with many accolades, however, my personal experience was a disaster, and until this day I'm dealing not only with the physical mistakes but also mental hardship when looking at myself in the mirror.
