I came in here totally clueless but wanting to be Marilyn Monroe over night (haha)... point is, very intimidated customer.... Hannah greeted me with a friendly face even though she was helping other guests. Once done, she came right over to me in the hair dye aisle! I told her what I wanted and she hooked it up. Found reasonable products complimented by sage wisdom from experience. (She has awesome blue hair.) Hannah even wrote down on (several) sticky notes step by step directions. I'm distraught, this isn't on this store specifically but more on sally beauty. I wanted to refresh my copper hair since my semi had washed out into a yellowish tint and decided on this beautiful color, my hair is now DARK BROWN almost my natural dark hair and now I have to strip the color out and damage my already fried hair because the color was completely incorrect on the box. A huge shout out to Hannah for all the help this past Friday on and off the clock. I have gone in a few times now and was beyond impressed to be greeted and helped by someone passionate about what they do as well as knowledgeable. I will be honest however, the only reason I am leaving this review is because of how above and beyond this young lady went by helping us start to finish on our last minute hair adventure. She took the time to help us find the best bleach and dye for someone with sensitive skin, let us know what utensils would be needed, what reactions to look out for if allergic, gave us specific instructions, told us what products would help reduce damage from bleaching, and was available for the questions we had even during the process when we got home. Dont buy any electronic products from Sally's!! Sallys has a quiet ALL sales final policy that is not disclosed at purchase. I purchased wireless trimmers that I discovered were defective after fully charging overnight. In less than 24 hr with receipt in hand cashier refused to refund or replace and had me call Sally customer service who repeated the company line about not being able to return an open product. The delima is that you have to open the box in order to charge the product!! We buy under the assumption that the product is in working order so why are we being punished when the manufacturer doesn't deliver!? Good service would be for Sally's to make the return to the customer and let Sally's send the item back to the manufacturer. Buy your electric beauty products from Amazon!!! The item was less expensive, same day delivery and guaranteed return with ups scan code!! Poor retail service is why Amazon is taking over! Never again! Morgan and Felicity ROCK!!! During this time of quarantine many have soaked their nails off to opt for natural. My nails were in bad shape (although not as bad as I thought) so I drove by and saw that Felicity was handing a customer a bag. I had not shopped on line because I was CLUELESS about what I needed. So I'm a friendly person. I like to talk to strangers about my hair and future hair. You would think doing it at a Sally's makes sense. The girls weren't rude to me, but they didn't seem interested in talking about my hair. wahh...booo hooo...!! That is why I gave this place three stars. I have worked retail for several years and I just expect people to be interested in what they are selling. I went to ask a question and the gal working there interrupted to me to tell me how to use it. That wasn't my question. I just interrupted her in the middle of her rant and let her know what my question was. As for Sally's they have great products/tools to create the fun blue big hair I have always maintained. :) I am not a professional, but Sally's has enough product to correct my unprofessional mistakes and start over again. I have been a Sally's shopper for years now and couple gals that see uninterested in my hair isn't going to stop me from correcting my mistakes. haha!! I'm not one to post negative reviews but I wish I had written this review immediately as well as noted the name of the employee. I stopped in here two months ago looking for advice about color. There was a young girl at the counter who sighed when my fiancé and I walked in the door. When she did so I thought I would try to just look through the products myself because I instantly felt like she didn't want any part of customer service. When I found the temporary color area I was looking for there was a step ladder there. The girl that had previously been at the counter walked over, sighed again, and said "I guess I'll just have to do THIS later." I told her I was sorry to have interrupted her work with business and we left. Three girls at cash register were put out (rolling there eyes, frowning, ignoring us) and one told my mom that she was rude after she took issue with them telling us they had the free promotional gift (which was the first thing we checked on and the whole reason we were there) when they did not. When my mom walked out they again said she was rude so I told them I did not appreciate them treating/talking to her that way. I said we would rather spend our money elsewhere and one of the women said "yah go elsewhere, peace" while throwing up a peace sign to me. Store employee was so rude!!! I will never return. I've never felt more unwelcome in my life! I walked in with ripped jeans and messy hair(I'm a musician and had a fun night of rock n roll the previous night) and the second I started walking towards the back she very rudely asked me in a VERY snotty tone "can I help you?" Like when Julia Roberts walked into the botique on Rodeo drive in Pretty Women! I smiled and said no thank you, just looking at makeup and stuff".
