While I was waiting at the church, she texted me saying that the stylist had admitted that she did not know what she was doing, and had already reached out for help to two other stylists. The result was that my love arrived for our special day stressed, upset, and lacking the confidence boost we had hoped this simple styling would bring her to begin her most important day. Nobody at the salon offered her any apology or offer of discount, etc. I emailed the salon management with the story and received no reply, so that is why I am sharing it here as my only, feeble recourse.

When I told her what color I wanted, she explained that it might look better to use a darker shade that would blend better with my natural color, and she was absolutely right. I HIGHLY recommend Steph!

I met with Brooke and we ended up deciding on a collarbone length cut with an extended root shadow to excentuate my long faded ombré. I have gone to several other salons and never ended up receiving my desired look so I was a bit skeptical. However, Brooke did such an amazing job on my hair and was the first stylist to ever create the look I was imagining in my mind. She blended the ombré SEAMLESSLY and made my dye job look as natural as can be. I am beyond happy with her skills as a stylist and I am ecstatic to finally have the hair I've always wanted. I absolutely reccomend Brooke if you are looking for any type of ombré/balayage (although I'm sure she could do anything ) as she did an amazing job. I will definitely be paying her a visit every time I come from out of state. Thank you again!!

https://www.facebook.com/share/19DFpKqF5e/?mibextid=wwXIfr…read more I'm posting the inspiration picture alongside the actual result so everyone can judge for themselves. My daughter found a picture of exactly how she wanted her hair to look. Before the appointment, the stylist looked at the photo and told us she could achieve it. We were quoted $210-$260, which I thought was expensive, but it was my daughter's money, and she agreed to pay it because she expected to receive what she asked for. My daughter's natural hair color is a light auburn, and she specifically told the stylist that she hated that color and wanted something completely different. She wanted cool-toned, dimensional highlights like the inspiration photo. Instead, she walked out with hair that looks very similar to the natural color she specifically said she couldn't stand. I want to make it clear that this isn't about saying her hair is ugly. My daughter is beautiful no matter what. The issue is that it isn't what she asked or paid for. During the appointment, my daughter told the stylist she didn't like the direction it was going. I also asked the stylist to stop putting more color and product in her hair, but she continued anyway. To make matters worse, we paid a $75 deposit before the appointment. That deposit was supposed to be deducted from the final bill, but it wasn't. Instead, we paid $237 at the salon, and now they're trying to claim the service should have been $310 by adding the $75 deposit on top of the $237 already paid. That's not how deposits work. A deposit is supposed to be credited toward the final cost, not added to it after you've already paid. This isn't about trying to get something for free. We were fully prepared to pay the agreed price for the service my daughter requested. It's about paying hundreds of dollars for a result that doesn't resemble the inspiration photo, having our concerns ignored during the appointment, and then being charged in a way that doesn't match what we were quoted. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. You can compare the inspiration photo to the final result and decide whether they match.
