I found Ashleigh James Salon on Facebook, and booked some appointments. My first appointment, Ashleigh trimmed and layered my hair and made it look gorgeous! A month later, I got a Brazilian Blowout! FYI - it's totally worth every penny (er...dollar). My hair looks and feels so much healthier, and it's not frizzy anymore. Then a few weeks later, my daughter went in to get her hair trimmed and curtain bangs added. My daughter LOVES her hair, and her jaw drop was priceless. Seriously, support small and local. I have been to so many places to get my hair cut/colored/etc. One day I found an ad for Ashleigh James on a table where my husband and I were eating breakfast and I thought to myself "Why not give 'em a try?". Well ... 2+ years later and I wouldn't go anywhere else! From the moment you walk into the salon and see the fish and the turtle in the lovely pond area, you feel very comfortable! All the ladies that work there are very professional and very courteous. They make you feel like you're the most important person in their VERY busy day! I go to get all over color and highlights, to get my hair cut, and to tan! My husband goes to get his hair cut and the hot shave. My kids go there and absolutely LOVE their stylists! This business is not for the inexperienced, at least as far as nails go. Can you believe that anyone who spent 3 years in cosmetology school had no clue what callus treatment was? She learned something the day I was there! They get some points for being friendly and accommodating, but no points for knowledge or expertise. Their prices are lower than I have seen, but you get what you pay for. I took her word that my nails were dry enough that I could make it back to work, but three were ruined after a two minute walk. I am new to the area and just trying to find a decent place to get my mani-pedi. Hope the next place is better. Save yourself time and go somewhere else. read more

I only tan at Ashleigh's but the prices are great here. It's a nice environment and not to mention they have plenty of beds, I think I've only waited a couple of times.
