I came here to get the much loved generic brand of matrix biolage for my hair!! It's not quite as good but the price is less than a quarter of what you can spend at Ulta next-door!! I went in today (March 1) to return a product I purchased on January 30 (31 days ago) because the product was defective or old when I bought it, it was half the amount it should have been and was hard. No big deal at all, but I came to get my money back and was told since I bought it two months ago I couldn't get my money back and would have to exchange it for a new one. I asked what the return policy was, she said 60 days but since I bought it in "January and it's now March, that's two months" so I couldn't get my money back. I nicely explained it was Jan 30 and today is March 1 so that's only 31 days and she hesitates and said she will try. I explained I didn't want to open their packaging for a new one and just wanted my money back. She told me life happens and it's not that deep. You're probably thinking I was being rude to her but I promise I was not. When I came in in January she berated an older lady for talking too loud. She doesn't have a name tag so I don't know her name but she's extremely unprofessional and seems to be on the defense with anyone that comes in. She them told me the item isn't on the receipt and I said yes it is. She then read every item in an annoyed tone and found it. She gave me cash back and tossed the coins rudely on the desk. Zero stars. Completely terrible customer service. Everything I ever bought was connected to my email except this curling iron that stopped working 60 days into it. Why would they not add it to my account. The manager Alex (spelled wrong) was so unprofessional and said salty it's not my problem I teach everyone to connect it to the email. I responded that it didn't happen this time and she threw her hand up and said have a nice day and spell my name right.... 100% trash service I would like to know how to return to the manufacturer but she didn't give me that info. read more

This is my favorite Sally's! I hadn't been to this one and it's the closest one to my house, so on my way to the salon on a Saturday I popped in to grab a couple things. I mostly just needed brushes, so I headed for the clearance. They had a really decent selection of tape in extensions as well which was good to know. Being a stylist I now know where I can get tape ins to color or do whatever to knowing that a client can special order whatever she wants and I can customize that for her. read more

This is my local Sally beauty supply store I'm in there on a daily basis. I have always received the Best customer service friendly girls that take their time answering any questions I have had in the past. However the other night I went in there to return something and this young little grey haired girl named Amber Was so disrespectful and rude to me my daughter because they were short staffed and we're closing four hours early and just because I was asking why they had nobody to work, she had to snap at me and respond with such attitude and that she refused and couldn't work 17 hour days. I then asked who her manager was and she replied " can I please shut this door now we are closed" I think this girl should be let go for her attitude towards a customer. It's not my fault I wasn't aware they were shortstaffed I was just asking questions to understand why they were closing so early. Amber if you're reading this you need to tone down your attitude towards adults you're a little 19-year-old who has no respect. I found out you were the assistant manager and I about died because you have no managing skills whatsoever it's a shame and you should be demoted for this. read more

I'll preface this review by saying that I adore the women who work at the Brickyard Sally's, where I usually go, and they are so incredibly helpful and kind. After a really awesome and helpful experience at the Fort Union location, I decided to head there again for my supplies because it was on my way home. After over an hour of shopping and stocking up on color, the discounts posted weren't entered at the register. The girl (Katie) working the register was surprisingly rude and condescending about it, as if I'm there to take advantage and score 'deals' when I'm spending hundreds of dollars...she flatly referenced a 'policy' that allows only one single discount per transaction instead of honoring the posted discounts (I've shopped here and stocked up for years, and have never, never run into this at any other location) When I said to her that it wasn't her fault, but that it made Sally's look really bad to false advertise discounts, Katie stated in a stand-off tone, 'everyone's entitled to their opinion'. At one point, I asked her to try to understand that it's a frustrating situation for a customer, and to make an effort to 'be nice'. Out of principal, and not ever wanting to deal with this woman again, I returned everything I purchased and went to Brickyard to buy what I needed, where the discounts rang up exactly as I had thought they would. As I left, she was sneering and laughing with the other girl at the counter. I was so surprised to have this experience considering the other amazing and helpful women I've worked with here, but I won't go back to the Fort Union Sally's after dealing with Katie. read more

This is usually my go to Sally's location simply due to convenience. However, the service keeps me a happy customer; I've personally never had any sort of issue, complaint or bad encounter. I usually see familiar faces working and sometimes a new one, but all the gals here are super friendly, helpful, and kind. Since this location sees a lot of foot traffic, they'll sometimes be out of a specific item. Occasionally, I've items be pulled from the back when it was just empty on the shelf. Checkout is fairly quick and they usually have enough employees staffed to never have a real line. read more

This is coming from a long time Sally's customer- I moved here recently, and when I went to this location I was horrified. No one talked to me even once while I was there, and when you got too close to the back room you could smell weed. There were 3 employees on duty all arguing behind the counter the whole time. I love Sally's products, but it's not worth going to this location - steer clear!!! read more

Horrible and incompetent people who work here. I made a purchase which I had a receipt for and it was on my debit card which I had and the guy wouldn't give me cash even though I had my card in hand and could proved it was my receipt which is total bullshit because I was overdrafted on my account so I couldn't have them put the money back on my account I need the cash so I was returning the product from now on I guess I'll bring cash if I need to buy something from them!!! My husband called the store in advance asking about henna hair dye and we were told they had Henna Hair Dye. When we drove out to the store we were told they never got a call and they didn't have hair dye. We called the number again and the store phone rang. She refused to help us so we left. I have been going to Sally's for 15 years & or more & 7-10 times I have an awful experience there but I keep making the mistake of going back to the one in Midvale. Basically because it is in the Family Center and it's convenient but yesterday I went and went to purchase something that they keep behind The counter when I bring out the redheaded manager forgot to give it to me so my boyfriend went back there at 5:55 and she told him she was sorry there was nothing she could you they would Artie shut the registers down even though they didn't close until six. So hoping that she would recognize me and remember since it was literally 15 minutes before that, I was in, she would recognize her mistake but instead she just gave me a smug little smile and told me that there was nothing that she would do to help me and I'm welcome to come back at nine when they open and shut the door. I cannot describe how rude and smug and to be frank what a snot she was! I will be calling corporate and never go back again. read more
