I've always said, if you dont like your job its best for you to find something you like to do. Its not the customers fault you're "stuck" there and if theyre asking for help, dont be annoyed. ITS YOUR JOB TO HELP! Anyways, i hadnt gone to this Sallys in a very long time. Thanks to a good friend it was recommended to go and purchase some hair dye since my mom wanted to try it. As we arrived, the girl on my right was on her phone and the girl on my left greeted us with an annoyed "welcome". You can see it on their faces they did not wanted us there, im guessing it was close to closing time? i dont know. Non the less, my mom and i started looking. I dont know anything about these products, i may add. We were so puzzled and i couldnt call my friend since she was working. I go and i approach the girl with the turqouise/blonde almost ombre hair and i asked her if she could help me. She looks at me, without moving from the cashier, and she goes uh yeah with what? and i go with something over here. She pauses for like 2 seconds still looking at me and goes, yeah i'll be right there. You could tell right away she did not wanted to go and help, she was annoyed at the fact that i ask for help.
After like 3 minutes she goes and help us with a "what the hell do you want" attitude, we asked her a few questions, and she short answer us. I asked her if she spoke spanish so she could explain it to my mom better and she said yes, yet she proceeded to speak in english. My mother understands english, but of course she feels more comfortable with the spanish language. Living in a community with 90% population of latinos and you knowing how to speak spanish but choose not because you just dont want to help, ITS RUDE.
It was my moms first time going there and thanks to this girl she wanted to just walk out. When we were just about to leave we notice "Lis". I asked her if she can help us and she did right away, she was sweet to my mom and understanding at the fact that all this was new to us. She offer us a few different things that my mom decided to get and even enlisted me in their rewards program. Her kindness turned everything around for my mom and i, and thats the reason why im giving them a 3 star.
Wanted to share my experience so that girl with the colored hair sees how bad she was to her customers and how an attitude like that can turn business away.
I truly hope the manager sees this review and does something about it. read more
