I love Indio Walgreen on Hwy 111 and Madison store. Its down the street from my house which on Madison St. and 46 Ave. My grandparents use to go to Rite Aid it was a bit farther but they are people that consistent, once they find a store they will be loyal to the end. All the Rite Aids shut down, so we try Walgreens for prescriptions mainly. My grandma always love the fast, attentive, and knowledgeable pharmacist. I'm really doing this survey and including my grandmother Rosie Basquez in as well, because she is not great with computers. Karina the manager of the store is a natural born leader, she is positive, knowledgeable, has a great set of staff, and always ask about how me and my family are doing. She has made that store my favorite store in my area. Donna is a sweet heart, very honest, has a such an amazing smile. Tony always works in evenings, he is intelligent with many subjects, very great sense of humor, and also a great multi-tasker. Last but not least, Valerie I just met her today at the register, she very charming, great smile, and very kind. She is going to be a great addition to the team. This has to be the bottom of the dirt Walgreens. The people who work there are strange too. The women cashier at the front who wears glasses short older women (hispanic) will stare you down when you walk in horrible feeling. Now we will agree there is plenty comings and goings to look at, but get a security guard (one in the front and one in the back) don't make people feel uncomfortable. Not sure what you can really do with the looks you have. It's just overall poor customer service and bad strange vibes. This store should close immediately and salvage any good employee worth retaining, but not that women something is simply wrong. The women was seen on 5-21-26 at approximately 6:30 pm, she needs to go. We were there for a business trip heading home, but that place is simply frightening. One of the Worst Walgreens in the entire valley. Extremely poor customer service. Employee Herminio was rude and refused to properly identify himself when asked. This Walgreens NEVER has any of my prescriptions in stock OR when I call for a refill the automated system says that my prescription will be ready for pickup at a certain date and time, but when I go to pick up the prescription, Walgreens only has a few pills available and they ALWAYS ask that I return in a few days to pick up the rest of the pills. This is such an inconvenience but Walgreens does not care. Unfortunately I cannot go to a different pharmacy because my prescription plan only allows me to pick up a 90-day supply from Walgreens. All other pharmacies can only provide a 30-day supply according to my prescription plan. This sucks because that means that Walgreens can continue to provide such poor level of service to their customers. read more

subject: Prescription Service Issue On August 27, I received a text notification that one prescription had been received for me. I replied "yes" to have it filled. Today, September 3, 2025, I called to follow up. After a long hold, someone answered and asked me to wait. I remained on the line for about 2 minutes before hanging up. When I called again, the phone rang for about a minute, but no one answered. This repeated difficulty reaching staff makes me very concerned about their service reliability. I am now looking into transferring my prescriptions to Costco or another pharmacy. At this point, I am not satisfied with their service. read more

This Walgreens has the worst customer service in their Photo department. They never have my orders ready whether it's one day or one hour. I get a confirmation stating a time that my order will be ready. I wait usually two or three hours later and it's still not done and then they have to scramble to work on it usually leaving me to, be late at an event when it is a gift item not cool! The email states that it would be ready for pick up at 1 PM today. When I called I was on hold for seven minutes then to be told she could start it now but no guarantees it would be ready by 4:30 when I needed it. read more

I use 50mg Atenolol, 1 twice daily. My last refill I was given 100mg pills instead. Turns out they are unable to get the 50's‼STUPID⁉I check 3 weeks later and still no 50's! I am out of my 50's now so I am trying to split the 100's. ugh A waste of my time trying to split 90 pills. They are NOT scored for splitting & are crumbling every time. Came to pick up medications. However Tina at the pharmacy asked for our name. Then she walked away and was talking to a male co worker for minutes. Then slowly while laugjong asked for an address but her attention was more on the co worker than the customer I could have been a secret shopper. On that note i hope CVS will be better. read more

Unprofessional. My doctor had prescribed me the wrong medication by mistake because their computer didn't have the name of my medication. Walgreens said i had to call my doctor so they could speak to the pharmacist. I got the NDC number from them so the doctor could confirm. I called my doctor and the staff said they'd call. A couple days go by and I've heard nothing. I call Walgreens and they said my doctor never called. Annoyed, I called my doctor and she said the pharmacist went ballistic on her. She said he was rude to her!! Called her a liar saying she was not calling from a doctor's office. He also said a REAL nurse would know the name of the medication. The nurse told me she had to give the phone to another staff member because he was so irate. He refused to give MY doctor access to my medication history!! She had to call another Walgreens to get access. Unspeakable!!! So here I am (the patient) in the middle of this. I apologized to the nurse of YOUR behalf, Walgreens. I also told her I was changing to a different Walgreens because that was unprofessional and uncalled for. I also didn't want any future problems. read more

This is the second time I've had an issues with this location! Everytime I order my photos from here I end up not getting my picture! How is that even possible. When I got my pictures I didn't want my receipt and I left. I got into my car and just wanted to check my pics and there not what I ordered.. I go back in there and tell the cashier these aren't my picture !? So he sends me to photo center for help. This lady comes, I forgot her name, she's lucky BC I would of put her name down. I tell her that these are not my pictures and it's like she didn't believe me.. She was questioning me on it. She asked for my receipt and I told her I didn't ask for it when I left. She asked me when I picked these up and I told her I just left the store ! So she calls a manager. BS. Comes back and finally decided to return these pictures for my new ones.
