At this point I would rather have the location empty but as a local this place is pretty much useless. Ownership and corporate take note fix this location or close it.

What a find! On our…read moreway back to Arizona from Cali (with two toddlers and a dog) we stumbled upon Shelees Travel Center and couldn't have been more pleased with our stop! It's never easy finding a pace to stop on a road trip, but this place has it all. Plenty of gas pumps, a little dog park area, the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a gas station, an incredible selection of healthy, salty, sweet, indulgent treats/snacks/food/drinks, and a safe and comfortable place for our whole family to get out of the car and stretch our legs. Shelees is easy to get to right off the freeway, can be a long or quick stop depending on your needs and then you're all filled up, refreshed and ready to hit the road again. We will be frequent visitors on our Cali road trips from now on.

Hot and fresh ready to eat foods, many quality options here. Good food prices. Great customer service if you need help looking for anything specific for a snack. The gas stalls are very clean, saw a worker wiping down the gas dispenser handles and machines with spray and rags. Well maintained gas area and clean parking area. They keep this place very clean. The restrooms inside are reasonably clean, the store itself is very clean. After we got snacks and a full tank of gas we jumped back on the road to L.A. The service here is fast and easy. We didn't need to ask for help about anything. All the gas dispensers were working fine. Fun fact: the gas prices of California is super cheap compared to Arizona. Isn't that cool ?? No, that's a lie. The cost of gas is more in California, like way more. I paid $95.69 to fill up my Nissan Rogue full tank. It was 87 unleaded, the lowest price gas. Take that, you Tesla and Prius drivers. Ha ha the jokes on you guys !!!

Once in awhile, the gas prices will be similar to other nearby gas stations. The location gets so many cars passing by, so I assume that's why the gas prices are so high. But if you just drive down like 1 minute in any direction, you will 99% of the time find a cheaper gas station (even up to 20 cent difference). The only reason why I give this place a 4-star is because my gas nozzle was stuck in my car's gas tank, and when I went to tell the attendant inside, she immediately grabbed a safety vest, then she locked the door, and then helped me pull out my nozzle. I was so thankful; I should've tipped her for that.

Besides having food, snacks, and drinks, there is also a Carl's Jr attached to the building so you can just walk between these 2 places. This place is open 24/7 and you can do your laundry and take showers here. There's an area in the back of the store for that. There are 2 separate gas stations here. One area is for long haul truckers getting diesel and another area is for everybody else getting non diesel. I grabbed a full tank and got some munchies here. This is in the city of Coachella where they have the VIP concerts Customer service is great here and the place was super busy. This place is very organized and very clean compared to other gas stations.

I arrived at around 5 PM 5-15-26 for a tire change. However, I was informed that there was a significant delay due to a road call. At 6 PM, I received a phone call notifying me of this delay, but as of now, it is 0800 5-16-26 and I am still waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. To make matters worse, I have observed that only one of the three bay doors is currently open, and no repairs appear to be taking place. This delay has caused me to run out of hours, and I am now unable to meet my delivery schedule. Additionally, I have an important return appointment tomorrow afternoon that I need to prepare for. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. I expected a more efficient service based on your company's reputation, and I would appreciate it if you could provide an explanation for the delays and any possible resolution to expedite my service.

I went inside to speak to someone about it and they just told me it would go back automatically so I paid cash and left. 4 days later still nothing so I called and asked to speak to the manager and they said that the manager was not it, but that they had already gotten a few calls with the same issue so that they told them to say that in 3-5 business days it would go back. If not to go ahead and call back and they would help me out. I waited 8 days and decided to go in person and speak to the manager And all I got was her telling me that they release the money after 24 hours so that it is no longer there issue and that it is now only my problem. So now I'm stuck with calling my bank and trying to reverse the withdrawals since it was $350 and I can't just ignore it any longer.

The counter attendant (wish we had gotten his name, but he had a lipstick mark tattoo on his neck for identification for management) was super friendly and helpful to me and my son. When my husband came out of the bathroom and went to check out, he offered us a free sample of their chicken which was delicious. He seemed genuinely proud of what they were selling which is just so cool and rare to see in this kind of environment. We loved our experience!

I was just there 2 and a half hours ago to purchase some loose ice from the soda dispenser and I always bring my own bag to fill!! I usually get maybe a couple pounds of so i can fill my water jug when I get back!! I'm only charged $0.54 every time!! However, I'm currently being harassed by one attendant by the name of Maria and she wears glasses and works graveyard at this location!! A few times she's been overcharging me and smiling with an attitude of: "I can do what I want and get away with it!!" character display!! This morning she charged me $2.49 which is the price of a 10 pound bag!! I told that this is not even 2 pounds and she replied I know and I'm still going to do it anyway!! On occasion, i have someone always harassing me and maybe my facial expressions appear as though something wrong with me and i could be manipulated!! Unfortunately there is: I'm very ill with a rare condition in my jaw that affects my neurology and my anatomy and because of it I'm also autistic and defenseless!! I can't work and I'm homeless!! I've been surviving living inside some trees in a residential for the past 4 years now trying to get better!! I don't lie, cheat, or steal from anyone!!
