This pharmacy never answers its phone , last time I was on hold for 46 minutes and no resolution, today is a repeat performance, they have barriers to communication, the automatic system take one in loops and eventually the patient just gives up.Wake up Walgreens! Regarding pharmacy, the Express Pickup is posted but not honored...so don't waste your time. It's all one line-so if you're trying to get in and out, don't bother. People in line are coughing and sniffling and it's just nasty. Drive thru line is piled all the way around the building and it's a really high traffic store (during holiday season). If you're ready the news this is not a surprise with some of these big box pharmacies, but just confirming it is one that is having problems. they had three pharmacists, working to figure out one customer and yet they couldn't handle it. It was too much. I had made an appointment for myself and my son to get a vaccine, and entered all my info online. Rather than providing that vaccine, they hassled me for medical records, dosing, amount, and dates. I communicated this multiple times, and they scribbled it down on some scraps of paper. And they had me repeat the information another three times. Then they had me open my records on my phone. So when I pulled medical records up on my phone, they took my phone and walked around with it without looking at the screen for five minutes. They then insisted that my son could not be vaccinated, insisting that he had received the vaccine already. I attempted to show them the date on the phone, and yet they refused to look at it, or give my phone back. They proceeded to talk to other customers, who also seemed beyond their ability to assist. They kept my phone in their hand, while they helped, or rather failed to help, these other customers. All while my son and I stood there waiting. They finally told us that we could not receive the vaccine, despite not looking at my phone once. Outrageous incompetence. My recommendation--if you need something more from this pharmacy than self checkout for bandaids or a bottle of Powerade, don't come here. read more

So, like many of the prior reviews indicate, this was one of the worst Walgreens we've ever dealt with for a long time. However, we noted over the past few months that they seem to have replaced some of the staff and there is one terrific pharmacist who is very competent, knowledgeable and actually kind of charming! But today I am happy to share that they actually answered the phone promptly and then JULIE (!!! Whattt? Where did they find her?!?) immediately took action, took care of the issue that was delaying the prescription...I got an immediate text and on top of it she called back to say she was the only one working so she had to keep it short but wanted me to know that everything was ready to go! Honestly we nearly fainted. This is an astonishing turn around and Julie is the best and we are very impressed with her!!! Definitely has been a shake up there!!! Competency!!!! Yay! read more

This place is unbelievable. I sat waiting for a vaccine for 45 minutes and had an appointment..was the only one waiting for a shot. I saw 7 or 8 customers come up and everyone had a problem. I should have checked the Yelp reviews before having my doctor call in my mom's prescriptions here. For weeks their pharmacy has been out of some medicine my mom needs. All three times I have been here, trying to pick it up, I have waited in line twenty minutes each time, only to be told that her prescription still has not been filled when they told me it would be. Oh. My. God. So effin slow. This review is solely about the pharmacy. The staff is incompetent. I'm here for the second day in a row because they screwed up and the technician couldn't figure out why the refill didn't go through. Hint, their crappy computer tried filling an expired prescription instead of the one that had plenty of refills. They have a history of mistakes with me and others I know. Was told my prescription would be ready at 2pm today. I have my kids with me to pick them up at 5pm and it's still not ready. I was told to come back in 20 minutes. I can't believe that it is acceptable for a pharmacy to not take phone calls during business hours. I've been on hold since 6 pm to ask the pharmacist a question before transferring a prescription to this pharmacy. When I first called I was told that there were 2 callers a head of me. It is now 6:50 and they close in ten minutes and there is one caller a head of me. Which means they have taken 1 call in the last 50 minutes! I don't foresee my call being taken at all. Pharmacist quit and no notice to customers! My son has an auto fill prescription which he needs daily and no one notified us of the closure. This is disgusting and horrible ethics. This pharmacy closed because as the person who answered the store phone said " the pharmacist quit ." I had to ask why the pharmacy was closed. She wasn't even going to tell me why or that it was indefinitely. How can this company be in business when you don't even notify people their meds cannot be picked up or refilled?! System let me order on it as well like they were open. Oh and best part? They had filled the auto fill before closure and billed my insurance. So now the pills are stuck there in a closed pharmacy and insurance won't pay for another one because Walgreens already filed a claim to be paid for it! Disgusting to treat people this way. By far the worst phone system in the world only slightly ahead of the worst app in the world. Refilling a Rx on the app is wonderful and easy , until a few days later it somehow disappears from the app. This has happened more than once for me. They should admit defeat and close this pharmacy. I only use this store when we are staying in the desert for the winter. I have spent an average of 1-2 hours on the phone trying to find out if my prescription hsd been filled. I have never gotten through on my first call. I have been hung up on numerous times while on hold. Last year everyone had Covid so after being told tomorrow I had to call my doctors office and have new ones called in to a different drug store. It's your typical Walgreens but this one is in a great location , nice neighborhood, it's clean, and you can buy just about anything in here. I also like that they have the drive-through pharmacy however ,with this pharmacy make sure you call in advance that your prescription is indeed ready. Doublecheck with the phone call to save a trip. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS PHARMACY IS A NIGHTMARE! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I went through hell trying to fill my prescription. I called and waited on hold for 30 minutes to see if it was ready and was hung up on. Then I went to pick up my prescription and it wasn't ready. Two days later and they said it wasn't ready. Then waited an hour to fill it. Then they said they only 15 of my 90 pills so they had to partially fill it. They then told me it would be ready in two more days to pick up the remaining pills. I went back in two days and they had to fill another partial of the some medication. I went back the next day after the pharmacy called and said the rest were ready. Then the rude lady at the pharmacy told me I had already picked them all up and there was nothing available for me. Worst return policy ever. Tried to return poor quality makeup product($7) female manager would not give me credit even though it showed that it was on my credit card. She said it was bought a little over two months ago and would not budge, with attitude! Target, CVS, Ulta and many others no questions asked and credit account no matter when it was purchased. Walgreens is experiencing a crisis with keeping qualified pharmacists, often shutting down as they must have a pharmacist on duty to operate at all. The hours are a mystery since they are likely moving employees around to at least have some coverage in some stores. I was told in my last visit that "they all quit." This policy won't work for us who have prescriptions in the pipeline. This is looking like a systemic problem, spanning Walgreens in California and Washington. read more

Nothing says "no customer service" than being on hold for the pharmacy and hearing employees quickly pick up then place you back on hold. It happens consistently.
