For a brief time I needed a little extra money, so I decided to try doing a few grocery deliveries with Instacart. I got a huge order with lots of heavy items, like 24-packs of bottled water, and things like that. After over an hour shopping for the items, I drove to the given address. When I got there, I realized that I had to carry all these groceries up a flight of stairs, including the heavy water bottles. By the time I was done with this one order, about two hours had passed and then the tip arrived- a whopping $2.17!!! After all that shopping, heavy lifting, and going up and down the stairs, I got a $2.17 tip! I want to point out that I got everything on her order that she asked for, nothing was out of stock. I arrived on time, and I was very friendly when I greeted her at the door. I looked at the name of the person that placed the order and it was Melissa Pierni. I realized that she was the owner of Lavish Salon- a business that thrives on TIPS!!! So she knows just how important it is for her stylists to get tips, but when it comes time for her to give out tips, she's as cheap as they come. I spent just as much time on my feet picking out and delivering her groceries as her stylists do coloring and cutting someone's hair, except what I did was WAY more physically demanding than what her stylists do. Imagine if she or one of her stylists received a $2.00 tip? They would be mad, and guess what? I am mad! Anyway, I decided she wasn't worth me getting so upset over so I just forgot about it until about a month later I decided to deliver groceries again. I got another huge order, with heavy items like water bottles, drove to the given address, and guess whose house it was? Melissa Pierni!!! And guess what? Another freakin tiny tip!!! She is awful and deserves to have people know how awful a person she really is. Because of Melissa Pierni, I will NEVER go to Lavish Salon!
