Having recently relocated from Philadelphia, I've been searching for a professional that has the skill set, knowledge and quality product that I took for granted when I lived in a major metro area. I made my appointment 2 weeks in advance. I arrived early to get a feel for the place and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff is courteous, friendly and professional. There's a sense of genuine friendship almost like they're all sisters. So I sat in the waiting area and relaxed. When it was time for my appointment I met my aesthetician for a brief consult. Oddly enough, she asked if I liked dogs then introduced me to Kassie. The dog on staff lol. She lay on the table, quietly curled at my feet the entire time. I love Kassie! My fiancé fell in love with her too when he came to pick me up. It's been my experience that this procedure is very relaxing, there've been times I've fallen asleep. The BIG difference here was the sense of love and nurturing I felt. The salon and staff seem to emit loving vibrations. Seriously. I can't wait to go back! I also got an eyebrow wax and I am incredibly happy with my lashes and my eyebrows. I've already made a follow up appointment and will be trying other services soon.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. I hadn't been to a dentist in a couple of years; I have good teeth and I take care of them. Most of my dental trips are pleasant so I can't speak to the pain and grief associated with procedures like root canals. I went in for a cleaning and my hygienist was great (Jessica, I think?) Friendly and gentle. I had x-rays done so that meant a routine of insert; bite down; hold still; repeat for about twenty minutes. A little uncomfortable but she was as gentle as she could be. I was impressed by the amount of time Dr. Jeff spent when coming in to say 'hello'. At my previous dental office I think the dentist breezed through for approximately 10 seconds. Jeff took time to greet me, ask how I was doing, check my teeth, and answer my questions. I felt respected and taken care of. When I requested a follow-up appointment to have a new retainer made they squeezed me in early one morning so I could make it in and then get to work - I really appreciated their effort! The technician who did my impressions was awesome; great sense of humor and made the process as fun as it could be when you're having goop-filled molds pressed into your gums. They have a large parking lot and are right off Webster street so it's easy to get to.

Then cause drama so you can't reschedule an appointment for over a year for the other child....Terrible service. Then tell you to get a new dentist when you ask why you couldn't be in the room with your child. Unprofessional and disrespectful. They also don't tell you you're seeing any of three different dentists and don't get the same dentist every time. And add that I was THREE minutes late and they mentioned it about FIVE TIMES after calling and they told me "oh it's fine it happens" clearly not since they had to keep mentioning it.... Edit to this review they will drop you as a patient if you they mess up your schedule. Or bring your complaints forward. I was told by bring up a concern about the schedule they messed up "if we don't give you the warm and fuzzies go elsewhere" as she THREW a transfer paper at me. For simply bringing up a question ! Never in my LIFE have I EVER experienced such insanity. I was told "being a dentist is hard enough I don't need to deal with this" because I asked a question.....It's be happy or be dropped as a patient. I wish I could insert the voicemail Virginia left me. Very mean. I have a long list of nasty things they said to me and put words in my mouth. Oh and they will talk over you if you try to speak and won't hear you out at all. Was told I would receive a phone call from the dentist himself after all this @4pm. I waited hours no call. He called me at 8 at night. Truly a waste of time and unprofessional establishment. You are better off going anywhere else if you have children! I've never left a bad review anywhere but I felt that this was the ONLY voice I was given in this situation. Such a shame.

The quality of their cuts, color, extensions, and other services are top-notch. (I haven't used all of their services, but based on my experiences thus far, I would have no hesitation to try others.) I personally love Aveda salons because they are known for their ecologically-minded way of doing business, using only organic ingredients due to their concerns about the dangers of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. They care for the world that we live in. This includes how they make their products and how they give back to society. I highly recommend!

The services and products did not work for me and ultimately I started taking an oral medication through my dermatologist that started working within 8 weeks. Also, the equipment they use to assess your hair at the scalp would frequently be out of order for months at a time. Assessing your scalp was supposed to be done monthly. Not worth it.

Finally I found Dr H. through a google search and I am happy I did. When I first walked into the office I felt like I was at a spa, waiting for a massage appointment. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Sue is the first person I spoke with and also the first face I saw when entering Dr. H.'s office. She's always pleasant and keeps me informed about my upcoming appointments and costs. Mandy is very friendly, always smiling and laughing and makes me feel very comfortable whenever I'm in her chair! Dr. H is extremely friendly and genuine. As a team they helped me conquer my fears of going to the dentist and actually make me want to go back! I can confidently say that this is the most advanced practice in the area with the best tools, technology, and knowledge. First let me review the actual dental office: When I walked in, I immediately felt safe and at home. It's a professional office that looks like an adorable big house on a safe, well manicured street in an easy to find area. (With plenty of parking) and inside it looks like a home really rooted in family values. The reception desk is big and relaxed next to a homey waiting room lined with windows. The dental chairs are private, and they have instant x-rays, water picks to get your teeth extra clean, and the kindest warmest staff helping their patients feel comfortable. Anything you might need, they have thought of it already. I have sensitive teeth so I was offered numbing cream for my gums before I started my cleaning. - there were even kids having a fun time at their appointments, and they had toys to pick from at the end. Dr. Elizabeth Spindel is kind, warm and positive too. Like I have known her forever. She made me feel confident about my teeth and was just so positive and fun to work with. She is so attentive to detail that she can even work preventatively. Meaning, she can catch things that other dentists or doctors may not notice... even before it's a problem or a health concern. I'm just so impressed. Dr. Victoria Spindel, Elizabeth's daughter, feels like a friend I immediately clicked with. She is laid back and incredibly intelligent. Her explanations have such care and professional detail, and yet she's easy to understand without needing her to repeat. I love that they're a mother-daughter team too! It feels wholesome and trustworthy in there. And as lame as I'm making myself look, it's cute that it seems like love is their secret ingredient. I really enjoyed my appointment and I actively had fun! 10/10 recommendation

What a wonderful experience…read more I've had what I'd describe as a subtle raised sun spot (semi wart) on my chest for many years, not sure exactly how long. Since it was benign and not too large like skin tags/warts typically are, I didn't give it much thought. But finally decided to see if it could be removed without scarring. Looked online and there weren't many places that focus on that type of procedures with a lot of reviews, but ultimately choose Dr. Bartels, because there were a couple reviews on Google (all 5 star), conveniently located, and good website/contact form. Reached out asking for details and heard back with answers to my initial questions as well as scheduling an appointment. They noted, if the consultation was successful they can do the procedure at the same time, which I opted for. It's located at a complex of offices that can be a little confusing but they provided detailed instructions prior so didn't run into any issues. Arrived and was greeted right away. Completed the paper work, and then immediately was greeted by Dr. Bartel and his registered nurse Ms. Dozois. Like the coordinator Katherine, they were all very friendly and welcoming. Answered some initial questions with Ms. Dozois and then was quickly seen by Dr. Bartels. who confirmed I was good candidate, and after light numbing agent started the procedure. The initial shot was virtually painless, and due to the location felt nothing doing the procedure which was done in under 10 minutes. While I wasn't nervous at all, I didn't expect it to be so easy, which was a great surprise. The doctor and staff all have a great bed side manor and we chatted after about post procedure steps including an ointment included and scheduling a followup appointment. The process of course is not cheap, especially if you have multiple items needing to be removed, but you get what you pay for, and certainly a great value compared to attempting home remedies or from less experienced professionals. I'll try to remember to post a follow up on the results in a couple months but over confident it will turn out great, and while I can't comment from experience on any of the other services offered, if it's anything like the service I received, then I imagine they will go splendidly as well. Highly recommended and may take a look at a few of their other services down the road. Feel free to message if you have any questions I didn't cover, or simply reach out to them directly as they can provide you the most up-to-date information on services, appointment availability and pricing.
