This isn't intended tho throw the CVS location under the bus but rather, it's a corporate issue: I…read moretransferred my medical records/history to this CVS location when RiteAid went out of business. However, I rarely use CVS because I get all of my prescriptions via mail order from my health insurance provider. On my first visit to CVS after the transition from RiteAid I was happy to see that my favorite RiteAid pharmacy people were now working at that CVS. In my excitement, I renewed my inactive CVS ExtraCare account via the CVS app. The app/CVS wants to capture all your healthcare needs and track your activity so it asked for way more info and privacy approvals from me than I was comfortable giving when all I'd really use CVS for (retail shopping and the occasional adhoc prescription from my primary care provider). They had my medical records so what more did they need? Coincidentally, I saw someone from CVS on TV testifying in front of a U.S. Senate subcommittee. He was being raked over the coals about how CVS was going overboard on collecting customer data etc. So earlier this year I paused finishing up all data ExtraCare app was trying to track. Today, I tried to schedule a flu shot on the CVS app. My ExtraCare account was still active but CVS had removed all my medical records I'd previously transferred to them when I had switched to CVS. It was my fault because when I was going "all in" on setting up my ExtraCare account I got uncomfortable by ALL the personal data they wanted to collect and share with/and from seemingly everyone in my healthcare universe, IN ADDITION to my medical records I had already authorized them to have. I tried to upload.jpgs of my insurance card but "something went wrong on our end"(CVS's). When I called tech support they informed me I couldn't upload my insurance card because they no longer have my complete medical records. Mind you, this was for a simple flu shot scheduling exercise! And despite the intro recording to stay on the line after the call to give customer feedback, I was never given the opportunity to do that. I even call 3 times: 1: The call went dead when I explained I get all my prescriptions through my insurance company and medical from my pcp, and was just trying to upload my insurance info to schedule a flu shot...call went dead but I was still connected...no survey. 2. When they informed me I couldn't upload my insurance card because they no longer had all of my medical records...I said thanks for the info I'll just wait to provide my feedback to the customer feedback survey...nope...3. Instead it dial transferred me to another tech support person who said they couldn't connect me to the customer service survey. I went to my local Hanford Supermarket Pharmacy and got my flu shot there. In this market CVS, you need to understand that customers/patients still have a choice. So stop trying to replace my pcp and special pharmacist needs with other pharmacies etc., through gathering all my information. I'll buy Christmas wrapping paper on sale from you, MAYBE, but for my healthcare needs, I'll take my business elsewhere. Instead of capturing ALL my business, "you'll have nothing and like it, Spaulding"! (Caddy Shack quote)

First off customer service goes BOTH WAYS, people are human treat them the way YOU want to be…read moretreated. I've been coming to this location for years, After reading previous reviews (especially the one about the pharmacist by the last poster Brie) I just thought I'd share my experiences. I've had ZERO issues with the pharmacist's that are here, they've been VERY informative, respectful and I've been able to build a relationship with them to the point where they and I converse usually about the usual family things such as vacations and life events and they've been nothing but compassionate and thoughtful in return, I've never had a problem with my prescriptions and the customer service is always beyond Par. I don't think these reviews are as much as a reflection on the Pharmacy, pharmacist or Tech's as much as it is the location of the pharmacy. Maybe if it wasn't located in the Armpit drug den city it's in it'd be a little more highly thought of, but then again it is Allenstown, REMEMBER respect goes a long way, if you want it don't come across to people like you have a hair across your A** and you may just get it in return!

This review goes out the the pharmacist named Guy, who has been nothing but rude for years to…read moremyself and memebers of my family. Even after contacting corporate headquarters to make them aware of his uncalled for rudeness and cold attitue to the patients that go to this pharmacy for their medication needs. I was in the hospital for a lung infection, and went to my doctor for more medication, and got it sent to this rite aid. I was mostly bed ridden for a few months with this issue, and very weak at that time. After a whole day of phone calls, and then ending up having to go INTO the store to get the correct medication that was sitting there with my correct up to date insurance information (which was in the system) Guy has also given my parents nothing but an attitude when they needed medication from this location. (Located near our doctors office) My parents needed a certain medication, and had it sent to rite aid (Allentown location, Guy on duty) and he did not have enough at this location. Instead of HELPING and looking in the computer system that he has access to, he just let me parents do the work and went along his day. I don't understand how a company can keep employing a pharmacist that is so cold and rude to thr patients (with medical needs, hello it's a pharmacy) After dealing with GUYs rudeness once again, and then going to CVS with a pharmacist that actually cares and is willing to help the sick people that depend on them. My parents will be transferring their many medications to CVS now, where they're treated with care and dignity. DO NOT go to this pharmacy for medication, I have no issues with this location other than the pharmacist named Guy.

I shop at the Rite Aid in Hooksett quite often since they have good sale prices (with Wellness+…read moreCard) and good customer service. Located on the corner of Hooksett Rd & Clough Ave, this Rite Aid store is similar to Walgreen's, except an older building here, which offers a pharmacy counter (with drive-thru), photo lab, and a good variety of food, drinks, and merchandise too. They carry plenty of candy, snack foods, small grocery, frozen foods, soda, beer, cosmetics, first aid supplies, OTC medicines, baby supplies, health & beauty supplies, pet stuff, magazines, holiday decorations, cards, gifts, batteries, household goods, and more. With the Wellness + Card, they offer some great buy one get one free deals including on the candy bars, snacks, ice cream and vitamins. On my last visit to Rite Aid, I got a bag of chips for only 61 cents and two big tubes of ointment for $9.99 with the card and bonus savings tacked on. This place is usually not very busy when I shop here and I'm in and out quickly.

How is that allowed without my permission? I'm honestly pissed. It is not this person's business how much I have been paying for my medicine every week and it is very upsetting that whoever was working today would just print out a copy and hand her my information! You had NO right to do this and have no idea how much this family member causes problems in my life. She probably went there pretending to try to buy it for me just so she could find out information I purposely refuse to give her, she does it all so she can intentionally make my life a living hell. Now that she saw the difference in the prices I have had to pay over the last couple weeks, she is trying to act like I am not taking my medication properly, which is ridiculous. It's simply just my stupid insurance randomly paying different amounts and has nothing to do with me taking my medication correctly. Like I stated before, she is crazy and I do not appreciate this unnecessary crap! I am so disgusted right now with this place and feel like my privacy has been violated. I want to change pharmacies now after this blatant disregard for my personal information. Unbelievable.
