I just went into the store for the first time, and was met by the most pleasant and cheerful staff person in a very long time, with a beautiful smile, she was engaging and very helpful. Hoping management sees this. I was in Sunday afternoon. 5/11. read more

I came to the store with a hot mess on my head with guidance from a different Sallys location Victoria asked me if I need help was very knowledgeable and the look I wanted to achieve thank you for hiring Victoria great customer service read more

This is a review of the online store. I placed a $50 dollar order and they tried to deliver it to an old address despite the fact that they had my new address documented in my online account. I tried chat and I tried speaking to a customer service rep on the phone. The answer was the same: They won't refund the money and they won't resend the package. I cant believe an established company like Sally's has no sense of customer service! I guess they need that fifty bucks more than they need my continued business. read more

Had a very good experience here. I was looking to do my own gel mani's at home. I was shown the area where they were and decided on a kit that would cover all based. Base coat, color, top coat and another bottle to wipe after they are done. She said I would need a remover and that it was easy to remove the gel at home. read more

Sally Beauty - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Austin, Texas

My daughter and I went into the store at 10710 Research Blvd #132, Austin, TX 78759 on Saturday, 6/28 in the evening to buy some hair dye and a few other things. There was only 1 store employee that I could see and we asked the person for help. We were polite and answered with yes sir/no sir etc as the employee told us about deals in the store and as I asked the employee about a hair brush. At no time did the store employee give us their name. When we went to check out I asked my daughter to ask where to put the basket we had been given and mentioned the pronoun "HE". There was no issue up until this moment. The store employee said to us, "My name is Victoria" and pointed to their name tag that was hanging down near the waist line. I said oh, that cool, my daughter's name is Victoria. The person then pointed to their name tag and in the corner, tiny and hand written were their pronouns she/her highlighted in pink. I commented with ok. Then I stated that I hadn't seen the name tag because I was looking towards the face and chest area and that it may be helpful to have a nametag where people can see it better and not hanging from a lanyard. I also mentioned that the name tag said "Vee" which i misleading. I know it was a nickname, but not everybody may know that. At the same time, when I said this I motioned towards the person's face/chest. The employee then said very rudely, "DON'T POINT YOUR FINGER AT ME!" I said that I didn't point my finger. Victoria proceeded to say that I had given her attitude since I walked in the store and that it was on tape! I don't believe I was ever rude or had attitude and was simply trying to shop for my daughter. When I needed something I asked and engaged when I was spoken to. I had actually never been there before, but knew what I needed to get, but was nice each time Victoria came up to me. At this point, I just said, let me just pay for my items and go. Instead Victoria said that I could just get out and leave the store and WOULDN'T LET ME BUY MY ITEMS!! I'm not sure why the customer service was so bad or why Victoria seemed upset when the name was never given to me in the 1st place. If the employee would have told me their name when we 1st spoke and then they wouldn't have felt disrespected or whatever they felt. I would have known and not said yes sir and no sir. I wasn't being disrespectful...I simply did not know. Then when I found out, I was accused of having attitude. Yes this made me very angry because honestly I don't really care if your name is Victoria, Jack or Jill or if you identify as a he, she or furry. I just wanted to buy the items I came in for. I'll admit I did cuss Victoria as I left the store and at that point I was in such shock at how a customer was treated that I lost it! I then went to another Sally's to get my supplies. I think Victoria needs some customer service training and a little attitude adjustment. I've also told everyone I know that might shop there what happened. I don't need a call back. I just needed the manager or someone else to know about this behavior from Victoria so that she can respond more appropriately to customers and not think everyone is out to get them and hopefully this won't happen to someone again. If this happens to the wrong customer, there could be serious issues. read more

Hair, nail, bath and beauty products and tools are well stocked and in good variety. The prices are comparable to other hair supply stores and you can sign up for a members rewards card to save even more ($5 initial sign up fee). Not a bad rewards program if you plan to be a regular customer. The ladies working there are knowledgeable and always seem to be eager to help. So eager and knowledgeable in fact, that there is often a wait-time at the checkout counter that has no line, because the ladies are busy dropping knowledge bombs on their customers. No worries though, they quickly recover and are still customer-friendly. They also have a "now hiring" sign in the window, so it seems they've got it all under control over there. Nice job, y'all. read more

Who would've thought they'd find an angel working at this location in Northwest ATX. Our local community is lucky to have Ashanti to support us in all our needs of self care. She is thoughtful, transparent and full of kindness. I look forward to going back again and again when she is working. What a surprising delight! read more

I was quickly greeted by a sales person with striking red hair. Not the faded out coloring that you see on ladies around town. Striking fire engine red hair showcased by a shoulder length blunt cut. I was so impressed I engaged in a conversation about the up keep of such a color. She mentioned shampoo that deposits color and other tib bits about the care. Talk about a great advertisement for hair color. She quickly mentioned that the hair appliances were on sale for 40 percent off. I made sure to get a few items. In fact I may return to get a few others. I had a good experience and will return soon. She also mentioned that if I hated the hair appliances I could bring it back for a refund as long as I have the receipt. read more

Came in wanting to tone out faded blue hair and Sheldon was freaking awesome and redirected me and helped educate me on how toners work!! He was so friendly and I didn't even have to ask for help. Give this man a raise he's AMAZING!! read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was greeted when I first entered the store. A little acknowledgement goes a long way. Store had what I was looking for. Been going to Sally's (the retail chain in general, not necessarily this location) for my hair needs for at least 10 yrs. Sally's is the Radio Shack of hair and beauty -- totally underrated, don't carry high end items but always have what I'm looking for. Hope they don't go out of business like Radio Shack. read more

Stopped by yesterday to renew my membership and pick up my free product. Lexie was helping another customer at the same time but very friendly and pointed me in the direction of the products to choose from. She was the only employee in the store, her 5pm helper was late, but she handled everything wonderfully. read more

The Employee was very nice in helping us the store has a nice layout and the employee is knowledgeable about the products and the e club

I have been to this store twice. I've been a Sally's member for 10+ years and this store is the first time I've encountered rude and unprofessional associates. Went in looking for Wella Toner T18.... it was out of stock. I asked the girl who was stocking. She said she would check........ 5 minutes later she's too busy bullsh*tting with her co-worker and I asked her again. I left the store and complained to their corporate office. I only shop at the Anderson Ln store. They apologized to me and checked inventory for me. read more

Dropped by here the other day for the first time and was anticipating horrible service per the other yelp reviews. I was delightfully surprised by the great service offered by Lexi. She was very knowledgable, suggesting items that were on sale (not trying to upsell me) and managed to give me and the one other customer equal attention. It was a good experience, I will definitely go back. read more

Horrible customer service. Went to take a product back after I had only used it once and owned it for less than 30 days. The store would not give me store credit or replace it for one that worked. On top of that, the employees are rude. I used to LOVE Sally's, I don't know what happened to the way they've run their business over the years. read more

The shop is pretty small, but you'd be surprised of all that is in here. There's a great selection of all things beauty related. If you do happen to go in need of a hair dye and have a few questions, ask for Genie. She's a wiz with hair color! Genie has steered me right through many of my dye adventures. read more

I'm not giving this store a five star review, I'm giving their super amazing employee Sadie a million stars review (if I could)!!!! I had a few questions about random nail stuff and she was so extremely helpful! She told me some personal accounts with some of their products we were looking at and what really worked for her, I don't know how many times I've walked into a store and their employees have known nothing about their products, this was differently not the case! Go their when Sadie's working if you really want to best customer service and be ready cause she's gonna make you smile! read more

This place is disorganized and the staff unhelpful. Purchased item, a few hours later discovered on my receipt I did not get sale price. Not convenient for me to go back (it's over by my office and I rarely get a lunch). When I called the store, my 'brief hold' was over 9 minutes. I finally explain the issue and she tells me it wasn't on sale. I tell her to go check- there is a sign. She comes back then tells me blah blah about a coupon code, and this brand has not been cooperative blah blah when you key in the coupon code blah blah blah. I ask: if they knew why did the clerk not check? And why did you tell me I was wrong- twice? She says "if you really want, you can bring it back and we can re-ring it for you". No apology- she could not have cared less. Since this is now even more convenient I ask if they can process it if I give her the sales receipt transaction number, she says no- I have to go back. Then I ask for mgr number, they don't know if she'll be in tomorrow, but probably (?). I also ask for customer service number. I call that and it literally says "I'm sorry, the office is closed. Our normal hours are (silence)" then the call disconnects. This convenient error is the biggest waste of my time. Don't bother going during the day; the girls are too busy chatting with each other (even while the customer is trying to check out) to be of any help. read more
