ZERO STARS FOR THIS LOCATION !!!…read more Came in on a Monday for lunch and picked up some cupcakes, a slice of choco-flan and a slice of the tres leches mocha cake. There wasn't much foot traffic so I'm not sure how busy it gets. Maybe they have old baked goods because they just don't sell!!!! My daughter had a red velvet cupcake and it was stale and old. My boyfriend had a cookies n cream cupcake and it also tasted stale and old, especially the frosting. I didn't even want to trust the choco-flan at this point but I still did and it was also stale like it had been in the fridge for days. We had to throw everything away because it was old and stale. This location has gone downhill. I always go to the Norwalk one and haven't had any of these experiences there. The owner needs to check up on this location more often because it's not fair for us consumers to trust and spend our $ here when we literally have to just trash the food because it is inedible. What a waste!!!! Luckily it didn't make any of us sick!!! Don't risk yourself and just don't come here!!!

This place has some magic that makes people say wow! absolutely delicious. I have had their chicken empanadas and I couldn't believe my taste buds. So I decided the next time. I will give a couple to a friend, his response was, "those empanadas are the best I ever had". "Where is this bakery at". I was so satisfied sharing the location of this great secret place. Good luck finding a parking spot, on Cudahy corner, I park across the street at the post office. Be patient and watch for the kids walking to school. Then your reward is freshly made magic. I highly recommend the empanadas

The bread options are filled with lots of variety. The ambiance of this place is hot sometimes that you're sweating in line and people don't know where the line starts or ends. The place receives a 3 star review because the parking lot requires a rebuild. You cannot go in and out without waiting for movement one side, to move to another. The place has front and rear parking but it requires a rebuild for vehicles to move around. It's that bad, that's why the review is the hardest drop. 7/10, the bread is great and options are limitless. Enjoy the recommendation.

There were some friendly customers letting me know what is good to get(basically everything lol) I ordered bolillo, plenty of pan dulces, gelatins, flan and jalapeno cream cheese bread. The bolillo is actually the best bolillo I've ever had. I pulled it apart to taste it in the car and it was the softest bread but still with a nice crispy outer crust. It has a bit of a sweeter flavor which is amazing! I'll be back for more in the near future. There's so much to choose from you'll be overwhelmed if you haven't been before. They even sell donuts, candy, tortas, fresh juices,a big variety of cake slices, mini jello cups, etc. I read reviews going in,so I honestly wasn't expecting much. I grabbed a butter wreath and proceeded to the check out line to order a Thai Tea with Boba. The cashier was done taking a woman's order, and as I proceeded to walk to the register, she looked at me and walked away. I really thought she was going to make a drink or help a customer out, but was I wrong! She walked towards the back area, flipped through some pages on the wall, and proceeded to talk to the 3 female workers. Two of which were passing the phone around. They conversated and laughed for about three minutes. Meanwhile, the male worker patiently worked on the customer's drinks. He seemed to be the only one on the floor actually doing his job! One of the female workers looked at me and walked towards me with her head down. She politely took my order but by then I was annoyed. I paid for my drink and my bread, (which btw was burnt from the bottom). Unfortunately, I did not notice until I got home. This location needs to train their staff all around. I've seen this bakery for a long time, so I finally decided to stop by and give it a try especially after their renovations. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed and would not come back. I went around 9am, yet the pan dulce was already stale and old. There also weren't many options available, and there weren't any conchas, which I found odd since they're the most popular pan. The place looked quite empty and abandoned. Service was okay, the lady was busy decorating a cake, which is fine, I just wouldn't stop by for bread. On top of that, I found the prices to be pretty high for the quality and selection. I'm guessing this bakery may specialize more in cakes rather than pan dulce I personally wouldn't recommend it if you're specifically looking for good fresh pan dulce. Save your money and try somewhere else. And if you're in the area, the North Gate across the street has better fresh pan dulce, not many options but still a lot better.
