Personally Salem's has not disappointed me to date. I don't go often but when I do, I tend to get the shrimp or the fish combo and they have been spot on. Well seasoned, hot and tastes fresh. Stopped here to get lunch yesterday with my kids and aunt. My son and I got boneless wings that were hard and were warm not even hot like they weren't cooked all the way. My daughter got grilled shrimp and aunt had a gyro. And when we asked for napkins as none were in the lobby they said they didn't have any. Okay if you live in Tampa there is a fresher and tastier alternative to your usual trash fast food. Enter Salem's, the food is always super fresh and made to order. The wait from the time you place your order to the time your food comes out is usually about 15 minutes because everything is made to order. So "made to order" is not a knife, issa double edged sword. The gyros here are my absolute favorite gyros. They come with fresh thick slices of tomatoes, perfectly diced onions, and a massive pile of gyro meat. Some one call the cops because Salem may have stolen Arby's curly fry recipe. The curly fries here are a must. It pains me to have to part with an additional $4 to upgrade my regular ole boring fries to tasty and exciting curly fries, but it's worth it. If you come here late night don't be shocked to see a line out the door, it's the only late night spot in town. This place slaps hard and everyone with a brain knows it. read more

I explain that I am sick, contagious and unable to walk in (it's also pouring rain) and she tells me that I wont receive my food and she wont refund me. Ordered late night through Uber Eats as an advance order. Food arrived cold but I don't believe that was Salem's fault. Driver made another delivery between my place and the restaurant. The driver was also there a long time so I think that other order may have come in while mine was "wrapping up". Overlooking the temperature, the gyro was decent and the cheese on the fries was good. My favorite drive thru place ever!!! No joke. My husband is to the point where he gets mad because I suggest it too much. But he's not normal because the only time there is too much Salem's in my life is when I'm in the scale at the doctor. I go between the Gyro (ADD FETA) with fries or the cheesesteak with fries. I have felt like dying after eating here so many times because I've eaten WAY WAY WAY too much in one sitting, but I don't care because it's so yummy. I follow them on Facebook because it makes me happy. The fries are perfection. My husband likes their fried shrimp and fries meal. He also likes the gyro occasionally. The jalapeño poppers are good. Not my favorite because the breading scrapes up my mouth. The peppers are red inside normally. Just a heads up. I've never had their salad because I can't bring myself to get something other than my two favorites. They have generous portions. I've been to at least three locations (maybe more) and the food is always good. They aren't all in the "best neighborhoods" but don't let that stop you from getting food. It's not cheap, so that's the only downside. Also, they aren't super quick, so if the line is long be prepared to wait longer than you would at McDonalds. But don't worry, it's worth it! read more

Do not place an online order... My wife placed an online order, I went to pick it up and it was not ready. I was standing there waiting and waiting and waiting, I finally asked again if it was ready; low and behold it was and was just sitting there. Rather than watching video on your cellphone and gossiping, how about taking care of your customers.
