They said it was not their fault and proceeded to attempt a gaslighting campaign against myself and my girfriend, of which we were supposed to believe that we had unwittingly broken it on the transport home. The gentleman at the store had become verbally combative and argumentative. His initial solution was to replace the new screen with the broken one and refund my money. I agreed as I could tell negotiations were deteriorating and could possibly lead to an excalated situation. They did not uphold their word and bargained agreement as when I arrived, they then said that no refund would be given and they would not be honoring their original service guarantee. I dont know what has happened to customer service these days, but it definitely seems to have taken a drastic nosedive.

A couple of months I had an issue and took it elsewhere only to find out 8 screws were also missing from the outside case and bits and pieces were left in the computer. All in all the place I took it said the previous repair person did a hell of a screwed up job including not being able to put all the screws in the case as the hole was stripped. I should have known something when I walked in and the place looked like a junk store with stuff all over the place. I have no absolute proof about the screws inside being his fault (how coincidental) but he did not mention the 8 screws missing from the case he had to open to see what was going on inside.
