I knew the vendor repair service turn-around would be at least a week, while working with Reboot was a total unknown. I brought my machine in and got an immediate, and most importantly CORRECT diagnosis, and this team worked to get my parts rush-delivered. When the part came in, I popped in and they turned the entire job around in under an hour, and they even saved my old webcam-cover-sticker and situated it on my new screen. And all the while, I saw and heard them attentively listening to and offering real, practical advice to each customer that came in; not trying to upsell or pressure people into work they didn't need done. These are real pros, who have attention to detail AND empathy. Would work with them again in a minute, but based on the quality of their work, I'm sure I won't have to.

A couple of months I had an issue and took it elsewhere only to find out 8 screws were also missing from the outside case and bits and pieces were left in the computer. All in all the place I took it said the previous repair person did a hell of a screwed up job including not being able to put all the screws in the case as the hole was stripped. I should have known something when I walked in and the place looked like a junk store with stuff all over the place. I have no absolute proof about the screws inside being his fault (how coincidental) but he did not mention the 8 screws missing from the case he had to open to see what was going on inside. It turned out to be too small for my needs and I am stuck with the drive and still not fully backed up. We had worked together smoothly, I paid my bill within minutes, and when I emailed him to let him know that the problem was not resolved I was polite. He didn't answer the email or a follow up email, exactly the same as the last time we had problems. I mailed him a letter asking him to please let me know whether he was interested in working with me. No response whatsoever. I truly don't understand what this is all about, and I'm disappointed to lose his expertise. I'm done and will,have to start looking for someone else. What a shame.
