Always happy to see a Saladworks in the area. I find this easy to grab and go. I love the pick your own option where you get a salad base and 5 toppings plus dressing and a roll. Even though I typically get the same thing I do love being able to change it up on a whim if I'm craving something else. Service is always friendly and prompt. It's Gone down hill in the last 2 months, I heard it's under new management I guess they never heard that you don't decrease the quality of food when buying a restaurant. All the tomato's are green and white hard like an onion. And forget about the slow service at lunchtime. My salad was made and literally had to wait 10 minutes for someone to ring me up. Having 2-3 employees doing online orders while literally 5-6 people are standing in line to pay for orders already filled. I guess they don't understand most people only have a finite amount of time for lunch and waiting 10 minutes to pay after you order is fulfilled only ensures you won't be back for lunch anytime soon!! I really enjoy my salads from this place! They have definitely gotten better over the year. In the past (last year) they gave my friend a fully loaded salad and when I went after them I got a skimpy one. When I asked to add more, they denied me. I even had a guy behind me say that my salad was sad. He agreed I should have gotten more. But I've had fairly decent trips prior, so I decided not to review it and give it another shot. This was my first time at Saladworks and I have to say I'm a fan! This location has a parking lot so finding parking is not an issue. Upon walking in, the place is clean and organized. There are sockets on the wall visible above the table which I thought nice so you can enjoy a salad and charge your phone or bring a laptop. When I tell you this place has options THEY HAVE OPTIONS! I was super overwhelmed but in a good way because I didn't know what to choose. For my first time, I decided to stick with something I know which was a caesar salad and a caprese panini. They put all the ingredients together in front of you so you know exactly what you're getting. What won major points was the thinly sliced cheese they used in my caesar salad because I cannot find that cheese at any other salad place! My husband and I are working on a long term project in the area and I luckily discovered that there was a SW location nearby. The staff is very friendly and the store is clean. I never went to Salad Works but I can honestly say I really enjoyed d sad I I ended up going 3 days in a row since it's on my way home from work. I passed up Halal Chicken & Lamb over Rice for Salad Works. 2 things I really didn't like and it may keep me from returning. I'm paying 13$ for a salad so if I ask for and extra thing of dressing I wouldn't think it's an issue or a charge. The first two days the girls gave me the extra and even a smaller sample of another dressing. So I tipped her. Today I go and when I walked in I was the only one snd I wasn't very friendly. They just stared and when I ordered my salad the girls were all Hispanic and spoke perfect English I'm sure they were American but when I when I asked for a second thing of dressing they started talking Spanish. It wasn't very nice. I find it very disrespectful to do that considering you English is as good as mine. I won't be going back. I am so happy a salad spot has opened near me. I have ordered from here using uberEats and I have gone to the location in person. Delivery from uberEats was fast and accurate. At the location I was happy with the friendly staff. They made my salad to order and it was great. I have had many different salads from here and feel they are all so good!! So, I placed an order via the online app, for convenience because as we all know, lunchtime can get a little more than hectic. I placed my order around 12 for pickup at 1. That's a whole hour. Not to mention there was a downpour. I got to the store at about 1:20. I approached the order pickup area and was greeted by an associate who looked through the orders(there were about 6) but was unable to locate mine. She proceeds to ask another associate if she received/fulfilled the order. Just my luck, nope! Then, she asks the supervisor to come over and she does. She looks over the same salads in the pickup area for my name. Then, heads back to the computer where the orders are printed. She asked if I could show her an order receipt. I did not have my phone on me, so I had to go back to the car to retrieve it. I walk back in and head over to the pick up area yet again only to have to wait another 3 minutes for her to look at my order on my phone. She then prepared my order, walks over and hands it to me. Ok, so what happened?? Like was the order received or did someone handoff my order to someone else? Because there's a printed sign that says" please show your proof of order/confirmation" something to that degree. At the end of the day, what are we honoring? No one apologized, nor was the supervisor at liberty to tell me what happened. I ordered online to save time. Instead, mine was wasted. I love this Saladworks, and I love that it is close to where I live. I will usually grab lunch from here about once a week. I would visit it more often, but the salads can be pretty pricey - 2 salads for $18.00 is a little steep in my opinion. BUT the salads are always fresh and delicious. They are usually never out of toppings (every once in awhile they are, but someone is always in the back chopping up more). I love the create your own option and I never stray from my Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. It is SO good. The warm wheat roll on the side is always a delicious addition. If you aren't in the mood for a salad, you can't go wrong with one of their sandwiches either. The staff at this location are always friendly and speedy. Yes, it's true what one yelper said, most of the people in the parking lot are there for Chipotle, but not me! I'd take a salad from this Saladworks any day! read more

I enjoy your salads; however, I've been here many times and you guys are not accommodating to vegans. This is a salad place...you're supposed to understand the needs of vegan customers. Every time I'm here the eggs, cheese, and sometimes meat drift into the vegan ingredients. If someone is not accustomed to eating animal products they can become extremely sick due to this. Many times have animal products accidentally got into my salad and customer service reassured me it would never happen again. After I saw the sign for under new management I expected the salad stations to be more organized and divided but nope. Also, the employees are very annoyed if you ask them to change their gloves after just touching meat. They also get annoyed if you ask them to get tomato's from the back. I can't eat the tomatoes that are sitting there that have a big boiled egg that fell in the middle of it. Also, after I pointed this out, they just threw some more tomatoes on top of the tomatoes that were already contaminated with egg. That is not ok. The next person can have a severe egg allergy or is vegan like myself. I understand sometimes cross contamination happens, but if it is brought to your attention then you fix it not hide it. If it wasn't for the coupons you guys sent out in the mail I wouldn't come here for these reasons. There needs to be a divide between veggies and animal products. There also needs to be more understanding employees. I can see both Saladworks in this area is the same owner, so maybe there's poor management between these locations. Ugg so irritated right now!! Why you ask? Well I was expecting this huge, amazing, salad given that this is basically a fast food place and the most basic salads come out to be about $10. The process was simple enough, choose a base, aka: lettuce and then 5 toppings. OK great. So I choose lettuce, cucumbers, avocado, buffalo chicken, gorgonzola cheese and carrots. Looks great for sure, but def skimpy on each topping. I ask for it to go and with utensils, get my dressing on the side and bounce. Fast forward 5 min later to arriving at my job, look in the bag, and bamn, salad and dressing every where!!! Both containers opened up while calmly, sitting upright on my car seat as I drove 1.2 miles away from the saladworks location. I was like wtf, did the salad just explode in the bag, and take the dressing along with it?? Ok so that angered me, a lot. I look in the bag and try to do some damage control and close the lid to the dressing so my salad wouldn't get anymore saturated then it was. After that I had to dump all the contents of my salad out of the bag and into my salad bowl. MESS! Total gross, soggy mess.. Then I'm like ok let's do this I'm ready, but guess what NO UTENSILS! After I specifically asked for them bc my job never usually has any around and if we do it's a miracle. (Refer back to my Panera bread review where I had to eat soup with a fork, terrible. ) Anyway, so then I had to scrounge around the dealership where I work till I found one, which took a bit of hunting. I go balls deep into eating my salad and literally at my 3rd bite, chomp into the most sour, soggy, cucumber, I have ever tasted in my life! So gross!!! They were obviously past the point of no return. To add insult to injury the lettuce was wilted and gross as well. All in all done think thay salad was worth $10? NO, do I think it was worth even $5? NO again. OMG.....I think this is the worst place I have ever eaten!!!!!! Came here with my husband for a quick lunch. All we got was some lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and chicken. Pretty basic salad we thought, how bad can it be. I think the chicken was the canned stuff. It was salty and had no taate. It definitely wasn't fresh cooked. I have been to five Saladworks locations and this one rates poorly compared to Hillsborough and Piscataway. Why you may ask, well portions and menu options. The line I was given while there was this is the way we do it. Well it does not always match what is on the company menu which could be a problem. There products all seem fresh but again compared to other facilities I get a strong hint of give everyone a little less salad and we will make more money! It is only chopped veggies. I am not going to mention locations but I get the same thing everywhere I go and here it was 21.85 but at others it is 19.65. I understand they may have higher costs because of location but attitude can make all the difference. read more

Our office collections usually yield a handsome tip for the driver but when the delivery guy came with a handwritten "$5 delivery charge" on the receipt, we were surprised and suspicious! A $5 tip for driving less than 1/2 mile on a beautiful, sunny day? I called the owner/manager Asha, who said that this was her standard business procedure which the order-taker failed to share. How about letting us in on this?! She apologized that the staff didn't inform us of the delivery surcharge but I still think it's lousy practice to extort tip money from customers to pay your delivery staff. For those who are skeptical that a salad is enough for lunch, rest assured, these are huge. They have a bunch of salad options, but everything is made fresh to order. I always get the create your own salad (perfect for us picky people!). Tons of options start with a base of iceberg lettuce, spinach, spring mix and/or pasta... feel free to mix and match, they never have a problem with it. Then add 5 toppings. Tons of protein choices (even the chicken is tender and delicious - not dry like a lot of places), beans (including edamame!), veggies, hard boiled egg (even just the whites), cheeses, nuts... you name it! They'll put just the right amount of dressing on the side or tossed in... I think about 15 choices (some low fat, some really not). I'm partial to the light ranch. Salads come with your choice of white or wheat bread. There are a few sandwich options that my coworkers seem to really enjoy - I've never had them. They are also made to order, but you won't wait more than 5 minutes. They're all on focaccia and pressed, served with chips. Pretty decent cookies at the register too (oops, there goes the healthy). If you get a drink, lunch will set you back about $10. But in a strip mall where you can otherwise get burgers, Chinese, or other fast-food options, this is a true highlight. They deliver too. My first time visiting Saladworks because a friend of mine kept on bragging about the place and that I should try it. I did and it is decent salads. It wasn't the best I've ever tasted. I order the oriental chicken salad and it was okay. However, I must say $12 total for just salad and a bottle water is not reasonable price for me. If I order from McDonalds or Wendy's salad and water, I'd spend a lot less $$. I don't know if I'll come back and to be quite honest, I don't see much customers while I was there which is lunch hour on the weekend.
