It's Black Friday and with 5 hours of shopping we were tired and hungry at Woodbridge center. We notice salad Bistro and thought to give it a try.. I tried Grilled cheese sandwich with onion and tomato and with coffee while my wife went for falafel on pitta bread.. They both were so tasty and on the top our server was amazing He suggested what we can eat as we both are vegetarian.. I also tried Mashed potatoes and they were very good .. Oh, how I love Salad Bistro. I worked in Woodbridge mall for many years and once the novelty of fast food wore off (fairly quickly) Salad Bistro became my go-to for lunch break. The salads are delicious and fresh. They have many salads on their menu to choose from, but I have a custom salad that one of the servers, Noel, has memorized for years now. Noel has always remembered me, even though I don't visit nearly as often as I used to, and he always delivers exceptional service. Everyone there is friendly and they work quickly to get you your food. Their fries are also great quality and definitely worth a try. They fry them fresh when you order them so you have the perfect crispy hot fries, and they are seasoned perfectly with salt. I've never ordered the rotisserie chicken but I know many who have and I've heard great things (it smells delicious too). Their wraps are huge as well as their salads, and everything is at a great price point. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is their hamburger, but it wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special. I order their iced tea mixed with the lemonade and it's sweet and tangy. There are times when I will go to Woodbridge mall for the sole purpose of having lunch from the Salad Bistro. The menu is extensive and diverse, so there are a lot of options for my partner to choose from, and it's easy to convince him to eat there with me. I must say that Salad Bistro is always on point in the salad game! They have been located in the Woodbridge Mall for so many years and they are still going strong! Not just salads. Plenty of choices on the menu. And, you can mix and match. I ordered a spinach salad with Gyro meat and the yogurt sauce. It came with a nice piece of pita. The ryebread on the turkey sandwich was super fresh and flavorful. Funny though, we've walked past this place several times while in the mall. The display case inside was very colorful, clean and well presented. But, from the outside, the decor and signage is very plain. I think it would be to there as vantage if the outside was done up in such a way as to draw more attention. read more

Went in cause I saw they had buffalo chicken wrap specials. As I looked at their menu I noticed a whole variety of salad options, wraps, bowls etc. Everything sounded so yummy and it left me indecisive. Another customer there heard me and recommended I try the Cajun chicken salad. So I did! My sister got a chili salad bowl and a spinach pie. The spanakopita was a bit rubbery. Maybe it was overheated. The salads tasted good halfway through and that's when we saw it. Walking next to our table was a roach that ended up crawling into the wall near the register. My stomach still turns just thinking about it. I don't plan on returning to this location. Hopefully that was a first and last time that any of their customers will/have encountered with an arthropod. read more

Solid place to get a freshly made salad to your liking. You can make your own or choose one of the menu salads off the wall for a small discount. I like to get the pasta italia salad - gives a good variety of flavors in one giant salad. At a price point of about 10 dollars per salad, the cost is a little high - but the salad is giant and also comes with bread and you can customize to your liking, so I feel the price is worth it. It's double the size of salads you get premade at Wegmans down the street, for just a few bucks more overall. They do charge a fee to use a credit card, which they don't say to you, but there is a sign on the wall. It's a little over 3%, which isn't great - but at least they have the option and aren't a cash only place. The people working there are very friendly and nice, and mix a good salad. Little bit of dressing on every bite, and they make sure all the protein from the mixing bowl makes it into your salad bowl. read more

I always see the same friendly faces here; they are always polite and courteous. Salad Bistro blows saladworks (and other competitors) out of the water with their portion sizes and the freshness of their food. They also serve hot foods, breakfast, soups, sandwiches ect. But it's the salads I come here for. I love the Turkey Club Salad! It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, sliced turkey, croutons and a roll. I like the dressing mixed for me so that every bite is covered. It's never over dressed or soggy they use just the perfect amount! If you are ever in Woodbridge mall give this place a try before heading to one of the chain restaurants. I assure you that you won't be disappointed! I've only tried their turkey sandwiches so far, but they have an extensive menu, of which includes platters and breakfast items (egg sandwiches and omelets). Service is courteous. I found this place at Freehold Mall a few weeks ago. I am so glad it's also in Woodbridge where I live! When I first ordered at Freehold, it took me a while to decide on what I wanted because everything sounded great. I ended up trying their Chicken Sensation Wrap. AMAZING! The dressing which is lightly put on the chicken and mixed I think is the key along with the avocado. I had it again here in Woodbridge and wasn't disappointed. The staff were all super friendly and my food was made quickly! I even tried their vegetable soup, and I'm not keen on soup, but I was glad I did. It wasn't too salty and the amount of vegetables was plentiful. If I'm ever in Woodbridge mall, I think I'd always come here to eat. I was passing through the mall at lunchtime and had no desire for the chain food crap that was available. On the lower level I spotted this little bistro and there were plenty of folks chowing down (that's usually a good sign). I love a good salad and thought "what the hell" and walked in. The menu had something for everyone - gyro, sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads.... And then I saw something on the specials board that caught my interest: it was a wrap and had chicken, avocado, chipotle mayo and some other goodies. Turns out that they toss all the ingredients in a bowl like a salad and then pack it up in a wrap. My oh my, was this a kick ass wrap! Keep up the good work guys.
