    Bento box sushi

We had the bento boxes and don't have the sushi. The soup was ok (I've never been a fan of miso) salad crispy and the dressing was perfect. Super Slow service made up for by the well prepared food. Sushi was really good (for Utah) and the teriyaki stake, served atop sautéed onions was tender and tasty.

Spicy girl roll and General Tso

I was surprised by how delicious the food was here. The General Tso chicken was very good. All white meat chicken from what I could tell and not just a bunch of breading. I loved my "sushi" roll. My fiance ordered Shashimi and said he enjoyed it. No complaints.

Who would have thought that small-town Price, Utah would have a great Japanese restaurant? Not me! But I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out last night with my in-laws, as they suggested it as their new favorite place. It's rather small, but does offer sit down dining. We were immediately greeted by a staff member who appeared to wear many hats. She was acting as host when we walked in, but then disappeared into the back. Our server was friendly and eager to take our orders and bring us our food. Once we had our food, however, we did have to flag him down for drink refills and to order another roll. We tried a few different rolls-the California (of course, gotta start basic), the Firecracker and the Bagel. The California roll was safe and a little bland. But the other two had tons of flavor. They were absolutely beautiful on the plate. And when the guy who created the masterpiece brought them to the table, he was glowing as we oohed and aahed at the display. He was proud of his work, as he should be. I also ordered the beef and broccoli, which I dare say may be the best that I've had. The beef and broccoli was cut into bite sized pieces, which many places forget to do-or assume that my mouth is giant and I prefer large chunks of food. The spice level was minimal, so if you want something with a kick, try a different menu item. But this one was perfect for me.

Hidden gem. Clean tables, friendly staff. I love that they brought my entire roll order on one plate, and his on another. We eat at a ton of sushi places, every place brings rolls one tons of smaller plates. This just seemed so much better. Rolls were delicious. The mango roll was my absolute favorite. I wish them great success. Definitely a delicious dinner option.

My experience at this restaurant was somewhat disappointing. Service: 2/5. I called the restaurant 45 minutes ahead of time to place a pickup order for 9 pm (their closing time). When I arrived, I was told that my order was still being prepared and that it would take about 5 minutes. It actually took almost 15 minutes. I do wonder if they even started working on my order before I had arrived.. While I was waiting, a family of 4 entered and was seated even though I was told the restaurant closes at 9pm. Food: 3/5. We ordered a sushi appetizer, a sashimi appetizer, a sushi deluxe, and an octopus salad. The presentation was excellent and the portions were generous. Most of the fish were fine, but the tuna was odoriferous and the octopus was really bad. Price: 5/5. $7 for 5 pieces of nigiri (salmon, tuna, yellow tail, red snapper, octopus), $8 for 7 pieces of sashimi (salmon, tuna, yellowtail). The price is very reasonable.

So we went here for dinner for first time, visiting family. The staff is nice and very efficient. I think they were maxed out on occupancy and doing take out but damn they were fast. Now on To the food, delicious and plenty of it. Now I'm a professional gourmand trained by Uncle Sam so I know how to pack away the groceries. Not this time sports fans I was forced to break down and ask for the box. So if your in Price or close by and like Japanese food then hit this place up.

The food was great and presentation is excellent. I would highly recommend eating there. Our son and his family eat there often.

When we order to go, the food is always cold by the time we get home (2 minutes later).

We passed by the area at lunch time and decided to stop here for lunch. Glad we did…read more The menu has good variety. They serve breakfast and brunch items, sandwiches, burgers as well as regular dinner offering like steak! We had the chicken fried steak w baked potatoes loaded and lamb steak (it said homegrown and their popular menu item). I was glad I opted for the lamb steak! The price was such a steal around $23 came with potato (fries or baked) and soup or salad (i opted for soup so I could share with my little one). The lamb steak came as a 2 pieces bone in chops! Generous portion! I asked for the "Greek style" (they seasoned it with oregano and lemon in addition to the usual garlic salt and pepper) The meAt was tender, juicy and NOT GAMEY! It was perfectly seasoned...so good! Hubby also enjoyed the chicken fried steak! Also generous portion and he had to take some to go. The soup was a bit too salty but it was pretty loaded and hearty. The homemade bread came out fresh as a loaf...they served it with chive butter, very yummy! Our bill came out to a little over $40, such a steal for the amount that of food we got. The restaurant had a "cowboy" feel with western style decor. It's an older place but certainly served delicious food with reasonable price tags. I certainly recommend dining here if you're in the area. The restaurant

After a long day at Arches National Park, we decided to drive 3.5 hours towards Salt Lake City…read moreUtah. After a couple of hours, we started to get really hungry and that's when we stumbled upon Cowboy Kitchen. Plenty of free parking. I'm not familiar with the area but it seemed like a place many locals go to celebrate. We were seated in an area with other families with children (away from alcohol) and they were both celebrating someone's birthday. The host and waitress were very respectful and nice. We were quickly seated. While looking at the menu our waitress brought out some hot bread which was very yummy. It tasted like a mix of bread and biscuit and we loved it. Of note, the butter tasted really fresh and creamy. Shortly after ordering, our waitress brought us all a bowl of soup. I'm not sure what kind of soup it was but it was yummy and it had a similar flavor to Portuguese bean soup. Shortly after finishing our soup our waitress brought us all some salad which we chose to eat with ranch sauce. Unlike the ones in the bottle, their ranch sauce was thick and flavorful. We tried the hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, and breaded pork cutlet. They were all good and reminded me of the plate lunches we get back home in Hawaii (except ours is normally served with rice and macaroni salad) but my favorite was the hamburger steak. Very filling meals all under $20. For us the location was very convenient, they were very reasonably priced, and they offered great service. This restaurant felt like home away from home.
