I'm not sure what kind of soup it was but it was yummy and it had a similar flavor to Portuguese bean soup. Shortly after finishing our soup our waitress brought us all some salad which we chose to eat with ranch sauce. Unlike the ones in the bottle, their ranch sauce was thick and flavorful. We tried the hamburger steak, chicken fried steak, and breaded pork cutlet. They were all good and reminded me of the plate lunches we get back home in Hawaii (except ours is normally served with rice and macaroni salad) but my favorite was the hamburger steak.
