I've been to Sakura twice now and both visits have been fantastic! The lunch specials are reasonably priced and the food is consistently high quality. The servers are friendly, and the ambiance is quiet and relaxing--perfect for a casual meal. The first time, I tried the sashimi with a side of rice (for an extra charge) and it was delicious. On my second visit, I had the two-roll special with Alaska and Philadelphia rolls--loved that there wasn't too much rice on the rolls. My husband had the hibachi steak, which came with fried rice and flavorful ginger and yum yum sauces. Everything was excellent, and we'll definitely be coming back!

Some dinky ass scallops

Absolute shit. Ordered the Filet hibachi RARE. My family is in cattle so I don't f around with beef. This was terrible...actually, it was worse than terrible. Will never be back. Ordered through Uber Eats because I am in town on business and have already worked 20+ hours. My driver, Malachi, was awesome! High 5 that dude for making the best of a bad situation.

FYI This is not tempura.

Ordered take out. Took one hour to prepare. Part of my order was tempura chicken. It was not tempura batter, it was just breaded. FYI this is not tempura. Sushi was so-so.

This week, on May 11, my wife and I went to Sakura to celebrate a belated anniversary. My wife had been there before and for me it was my first time. I had made the reservation for 5:30 pm for Hibachi. We were sat next to a mother and her teenage son. My wife and I ordered the Seafood Deluxe dinner. The other diners one ordered chicken and the other one the filet mignon. The cook was as expected a showman preparing the food in front of us. The placed a selection of vegetables on a side of the grill and then on another section of the grill he added ingredients to the rice to prepared fried. On different sections of the grill he placed our selection of seafood and then separately the chicken and the steak. He asked permission to send flying a piece of zucchini for to catch with our mouths. A couple of times he offered to us Sake with a squirt bottle and my wife and I accepted a shot. He waited until all the different proteins were cooked to serve us all. The quantity and the presentation were great. The seafood was hard, overcooked and not so flavorful as I have had it in other Japanese restaurants. The fried rice was also overcooked. The seafood was tough because he waited until the chicken and the steak from the other diners were done to serve us. Not a celebratory meal as my wife and I had expected.

We went here while visiting Los Cruces . We went for dinner on a Friday night . They were busy but we got a table right away . The service was good . We ordered the Egg & Vegetable fried rice . This was really good had broccoli , peas carrots . It was a big serving that could be shared . We ordered the Katsu chicken. This was tender & breaded crispy . We also got 3 sushi rolls they were very good & big . The menu has a big selection of different options for sushi . The prices are good . I would recommend dining here . They have Coke products .

Food was great and staff were very helpful. Will definitely be back! Here you have spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, katsu chicken bento and hibachi shrimp with side of teriyaki salmon.

Great spot! I've been looking for a very decent sushi place here in town for over a year now. Hands down one of the better places. This was hard to find being from Bay Area of California this gave me the flavor the fill and helped with that craving for it. When we first walked in we were greeted with a "Good Evening, how many in your party and what are you interested in?" (Asking Hibachi or regular dining) The place was clean no trash or food on the floor. All the tables were clean no dishes from previous parties and NOT STICKY! Over all the prices were great. For the amount they serve. Remember FLAVOR is what's here. The seating is comfortable just a little tight ( in layout of floor) but over all great peaceful ambiance of the place. Your not over crowded by everyone talking or walking past your spot. Depending on where your seated you maybe able to get a show from the hibachi tables while they are cooking. The only thing I was disappointed about was women's bathroom, they only have two stalls both of decent size. However someone from earlier that evening drink too much saki and puked in the women's bathroom and didn't clean up after themselves. They should have told the employees about the mess they made in the bathroom) I told the lady upon leaving the restrooms. And they got to tending it rather quickly after I mention it to them

It was slightly overpriced for the quality. Service was pretty nice and the restaurant seemed clean. Will return.

I'm not into buffets but I was craving Asian food. I had a let down at another place and decided to…read moregive this one a shot. Honestly, I was surprised at how everything I tried was hot and fresh. I love chicken dishes and tried the General Tso's and spicy Chicken. Absolutely loved both. Outside was crispy and inside was juicy chicken (not ground chicken). They also had every noodle you could think of which really excited me. I tried the ramen bar and was a little nervous. Once again a nice surprise. The one thing with the ramen it was bland, I got the hot chili oil and soy sauce to add and it was great. I did not try the hibachi but saw several people who did and they appear to really enjoy it. Also tried the sushi (I don't like seafood) but they had 3 vegetarian options that were wonderful. I would recommend giving this place a try. They had so many options that I could not try. Definitely going again!

The miso was just ok.. could have more body/flavor but the shrimp and seafood boil was really good with the blue crab (small crab) being cooked well- not dry or overcooked. Same for the shrimp. They have several station from veggies, puddings, 2 or 3 hot stations, sushi and hibachi/stir fry station. Waiters were kind and attentive as well. Went at 1pm on saturday and ut wasn't too busy. When you dont want to cook and want seafood variety, you really cant beat the value.

I asked at the front desk their opinion on the place and it literally had mixed reviews. It was late and I did not want to go anywhere else at a long day of travel so I walked over. You pay for the buffet as you enter. Price to inlcude drink was around $14.50. Proceed to your table with your ticket and one of the wait staff will get your drink. Not very crowded when I went. Fairly large selection of soups, appetizers, entrees, sushi and dessert. I will say that some of the product on the line looked fresher than others. Checked out the sushi and spoke to the chef who was preparing it. Wanted to make sure it had not been sitting out too long. He assured me that it was recently prepared and asked me if there was anything in particular I might like (very nice). Got a full plate and cautiously dug. It was very good. Went back several times and the chef even prepared something special for me with mackerel. I was pleased with the sushi. I did not really get much from the hot bar, but what I got was okay, perhaps a little dry from sitting too long. So, an acceptable meal.
