A store of this caliber, how is it possible that it has such terrible customer service and won't let you use the restroom? They send you to nearby restaurants, meaning you have to eat out after spending thousands of dollars in the store. They always say it's out of service. If a child needs to use the restroom in an emergency, they won't let them. They blame the landlord, which isn't true because they've put a code on it now, and they still say it's out of service. No one should shop there anymore. read more

On March 19, 2025 I bought a men's jacket at Saks Off 5th Ave (Aventura FL). On the price tag it was marked with a discounted price of $ 49.97. But the cashier told me that it was an erroneous tag. And offered me only a discount of 15% off the original price. But on all the jackets on the rack (and there were more than a dozen of them in different colors, but the same) was listed the price of $ 49.97. I immediately suspected a scam, but I really liked the jacket and agreed to the 15% discount. A couple weeks later I visited the store again and again saw the same jackets on the rack again at $49.97. I tried to buy another one and I was indeed sold at $ 49.97. It turns out that for the first time I was cheated. Although according to the rules and laws I had to and the first time I was sold this jacket at a price of $ 49.97. If the price tag is wrong, the buyer has the right to buy the goods at the price indicated on the price tag. However, that day the price was already $49.97. It's just that the salesmen cheated me. I'm asking for a refund. And after that, I ended up at a soccer game. I was being passed to each other, kicked and passed to other players. Saks Fifth told me that they have nothing to do with Saks OFF Fifth at all. Don't know each other and don't want anything to do with them. Customer Service from Saks OFF Fifth told me that they only deal with online orders. With in-store purchases, I have to go to the store or go to hell altogether. This fun company "Saks ..." reminds me of a noisy Istanbul bazaar, where they smile broadly at you before you buy, and after you buy, they don't recognize you by sight. Circus and balaganza )))) Worse service I just have not met. If there is still some director in this damn circus, he can write me a message. In the meantime, I will write a message to the Federal Trade commission and other consumer protection organizations. read more

I placed an order online for two items and only received one. They never sent me a confirmation that the order was shipped or delivered. When I called to check on my order as it had been over 10 days since it had been placed, they said it was delivered. While on the phone with the representative from Saks Fith, I went to the mailroom, the doorman handed me the box, I opened it and only one of the items ordered was in it. I took a photo and sent it to the representative right away. They placed a claim for the refund which was denied. I talked to a supervisor who was very helpful, two days later and he placed another order for me for the missing bag but said I have to pay again, otherwise he cannot place the order. I agreed, hoping that they will resolve the situation about not shipping the item the first time around. I received the item with the second order but my second claim for the refund of the original one was denied again. After spending hours on the phone with multiple representatives and several supervisors, and having my claim denied three times, I closed my credit card and told them I would never shop at Saks Off 5th again. I have been spending thousands dollars each year in this store and if this is how they treat their "valued" customers, they are not worth my time. I will never shop there again!!! read more

There was a reason why I never shop here. Terrible Customer Service. I purchased a long sleeve shirt and got it home. I removed the tag to wear the garment. After taking the tag off as i put the garment on i realized it was defective. An entire side of the stitching of the sleeve and down the side of the shirt was undone. In good faith i brought the garment back three days after purchasing it . I waited in line and approached the agent when called. It just so happened to be the store manager AIDA. It all went downhill after that. She would not accept the garment for exchange or return. I even asked for store credit. She stuck with the store policy that the tag had to be attached. I explained that the garment was defective. She wouldn't budge for customer service. She went on to explain if the tags were attached she would have to look at the cameras and do an investigation and interview the cashier who sold me the item to verify the garment was damaged or defective when it was sold to me!!! REALLY? AIDA went from retail store manager to high profile forensics detective in 2.5 seconds. Anyways moral of the story...... Aida you need to bend the rules a bit for customer service. I like this store , I live close by and like to look around or order online . Easy for me to return Bcs I am close to the store. Never had any problem with costumer service. And one day my friend come to rerun t shirt and she lost receipt , in 10 minutes problem was sold and they take it back. Of course I would like they have more offer new clothes but I stop 1-2 times a month and always see something interesting for me. Went into Saks to return/shop for some jeans for work, while in there felt the urge to urinate.. approached the ladies room..there is a sign posted " for employees only"...I thought there must be an error....so I asked one of the associate about this sign..while I am trying not to piss on myself..there was also an older lady who was also needing to use the bathroom..I thought this was stupid for an outlet mall to close the restroom to the public, who is paying your bills..as per management this is the rule from the head office......use common sense if you are open and want to stay in business... people have to urinate and defecate whilst shopping in your store... Well manicured store here with miles of free parking. Prices are typical of the dept store with no real sales, you definitely need to dig through the racks to find the epic buys but they do exist here and have a solid selection of garments. Disappointing though on the garment carts, they were cheap low to the ground carts, consider upgrading if able. However did bring our two chihuahua pups here in a Sherpa bag and they were warmly received by staff and we were grateful that was acceptable while we shopped! Thanks! read more

I would give it less than one star. It is not because of the merchandise. Instead, the one or less star review is for the horrible sales associates. I have tried to ignore the rudeness, but over the last few years it has gotten worse. Please do not get me wrong, there are some really nice people working there. Unfortunately, the ones who are not outweigh them 3 to 1. I can imagine it is hard to work up enthusiasm or happiness working there. It can be seen in the annoyed expressions, slow speed and unpleasant tone of the associates. In addition, the store is always messy and/or dirty looking. Also, if you do not know something do not become rude. It is sad because this is my local store, but after yesterday's experience, I will not be back again soon.. Sawgrass store is so much better. This location was all over the place- mostly places I didn't like, but it wasn't the worst place I've ever been. The front half of the store was great; everything was nice and neat, easy to read signs, but the further you go you feel like you're walking into someone's closet. As you go further back through the department there are clothes everywhere. The racks are not easy to read- which is clearance and which isn't? What bothered me is that no one offered to help the entire time I was there. Nothing about what I was looking for. Honestly, I would have purchased more if asked because I did have questions. Instead, what I saw was three associates hanging out, joshing around at the register located in the men's area. I hung around because I wasn't sure if I could get waited on there, but I must have worn my invisibility cloak because they didn't see me. Annoyed, I found another register. Get your comfy shoes on because you're going to stand in line for awhile before you get checked out. The girl at the register was friendly but didn't make up for the overall experience. I went to this store for the time in my life. I loved the items in the store ,but that staff need Customer service training and basic human skills.... I had two pair of shoes ,a wallet and a belt and wanted to shop more I asked the cashier if I could leave my items at her counter She said"NO!! You have to get a cart! I was so taken back from the rude tone that i was about to walk out but I wanted the two pair Robert graham shoes. I then picked up my items. Another customer came up and two other sales people who where just gossiping about something that was inappropriate. Told the lady the cashier is closed counting her money, she Was not and the lady was also mad about the rude tone I called for the mgr 15 mins later. A very soft talking boy said sorry . I point out person she was rude even to him when I asked why she talk to people that way she lied and said she did say it. I asked her to point out the other staff who she said said it. I'm obsessed with some of the brands that I can normally find here and stop by whenever I go the Publix next door but I hate myself for it and promise myself over and over again not to do it. The store is completely disorganized (think of a Ross in a bad neighborhood) and the store is slightly worse, no eye contact and if you actually need to talk to them they just give you a whole lot of attitude and walk away. I'm sure this store is NOT what Saks has in mind and I wish with all my heart someone from corporate would visit someday as a undercover customer and see the terrible situation here. read more

This review is strictly for the manager Amber. I have never encountered such horrible customer service and this experience reminds me again why I do not shop at these discount outlet stores. I bought a pair of Christian Louboutin crystal heels on sale. When I was at checkout I asked for a dust bag or box since these are expensive shoes (retail over $2k and I was buying them for $650). Anyway the salesperson couldn't find the box so the poor woman handed me her own plain white shoe box to hold the shoes in. I took them home and after trying them on again realized the size is too small and I wouldn't be able to walk in them. (I knew this from the beginning but still had high hopes). I brought them back to return and this is where I will never shop at this store again and I hope Amber gets fired. I brought in the shoes without the box, using MY OWN Louboutin dust bags from another pair I purchased from Neimans. The salesperson told me I couldn't return the shoes and called the manager. Well Amber came and told me that she could not return the shoes without the box. I explained that the salesperson handed me just a plain white box and not a saks box. No box. No returns. Ok so then I drove all the way home (30 mins) to pick up the white box. Upon my return to the store Amber told me my shoes were worn and I could not return them. Granted an hour ago she told me all I needed was the box. Well I don't think trying on the shoes ON CARPET constitutes as worn shoes. So I asked her if she was familiar with Louboutins and that if I had worn them the red soles would have been scratched off. Amber replies with: yes I'm familiar with LOO-BOO-TINS and these look worn. Unable to keep my cool any longer I told her that clearly she is not, as they are pronounced LOU-BOU-TAN and the bottoms were flawless not even a single mark. The best part was when this little old lady behind me goes, ma'm I don't believe she wore those shoes because the soles would have rubbed off to which Amber responds, excuse me do you work here or do I. I have never ever been treated like this especially by a manager. I think she realized her mistake because she took the shoes back as a "courtesy 1 time return". Unbelievable. For an outlet store..prices are still high here. I originally came in to see their selection of premium jeans which fits my 5'11" frame. After not finding what I wanted I decided to look around the store. I wasn't able to find anything that fits my taste. After shopping in this store I found that Nordstrom Rack is a little better when it comes to clothing and discount pricing. Wow, so many bad reviews, and I guess no one has any intentions of improving the customer experience at the Aventura Saks off 5th. Whoever was a sales associate behind the jewelry counter on Sunday 2/26/23 at 11:30 AM, OMG! I tried to catch her attention several times, basically chasing her around the jewelry display. Once she finally acknowledged that I was there, she said "I have another customer". That "other" customer looked as if she was not even interested in buying anything, and was just wondering around. I waited for about 10 minutes, then approached associate again, and she said the other lady is still looking. Associate seemed to have no interest of selling anything to anyone. Can't she assist two customers at the same time? Especially if the other one is walking and looking at the display? Sales associate looked like she didn't want to be there at all, she looked like someone forced her to be there. Didn't greet any customers, didn't ask if they wanted to see anything. I asked if there was another associate that could assist me? Her response was of course NO. I would think it would be in the best interest of the store to sell stuff to the clients who are interested in buying, but what do I know, I am just a customer. read more

Love this store during their sale promos! Sometimes it's hit-or-miss with the customer service, but all in all, they do the best they can considering the huge location with tons of merchandise! The store is the worst. The service sucks, the clothes sizes are not matched to their racks, the employees are more concerned socializing with each other and there is ALWAYS only one register open. Last night I asked the manager to open a second register since there were 9 people on line and her comment was "We are an outlet store", I still can't understand her comment. I rarely leave a negative review but I had such a terrible experience here that I felt I needed to share. The customer service in this store is atrocious. I have been a long time customer of Saks Off 5th but I will no longer shop at this location. Last week I visited the store with my husband. I go to the fitting room and try on a couple of outfits. I walk out three feet to show my husband an outfit and return to the fitting room. I walk to the cash register (which is within eyeshot of the fitting room. 3 minutes have passed and I realize I do not have my brand new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. I rush to the room (which had no other customers in it) and poof! No glasses. I now realize they were stolen in the three minutes I stepped out of the room to show my husband an outfit as he is sitting on the couch. I am very thorough and when I returned the items I wouldn't be taking, they were already gone. The room was empty when I left it. Obviously upset and very aware that my glasses had been stolen by an employee (although I did not voice that accusation at the time) in under three minutes!! I left my number with someone from the staff who was very nice and apologetic. I heard her tell the male manager on duty and he shrugged it off i.e. appalling customer service. I left the store and become increasingly upset as I thought more about the incident. The next day I called and asked to speak to the manager. This time it was a woman. She apologized and said she would "launch an investigation" and call me within 24 hrs. Obviously the person that stole the glasses was not going to confess and lose their job. Perfect crime... the fitting rooms have no surveillance cameras. Today, a week later I had not heard from the manager. I called and she clearly did not even remember the matter. She then proceeded to tell me they conducted and investigation (doubt it ) and shocker!!!: found nothing. No courtesy, no attempt to make things right. I plan on calling corporate tomorrow which probably won't result in anything. Just look at this store's reviews. It's not about a pair of $200 glasses (although having them stolen the first time you wear them stings) it's about the principle of the matter. Don't shop here. read more

All cashiers were poorly trained and no one had a clue how to order something for me online. They turned me away and told me there was nothing they could do... Saks off fifth advertises and extra 10% off fine jewelry. I ordered a diamond bracelet in good faith and decided to return it, but was told that it was fake and that I changed out all the diamonds and that the metal is not even platinum. The company including the staff in Aventura and District Manager Sue Roberts sent me a form letter stating that I did not buy the bracelet in Saks when I have the original receipt stating that the bracelet came from Saks off Fifth stores. I was basically accused of changing out every diamond on the bracelet and that I am trying to return a bracelet that I never bought from Saks. The bracelet was $3199 and all I want is my money back. I am a good customer of Saks off Fifth and have reached out to the president Marc Metrick and will not stop until I get my money back. I caution all that are buying jewelry online from Saks to be very careful as they are easy to sell the product but when it comes to returns they blame the customer for returning false items they actually sent! I was treated like a basic criminal with form letters and no interaction. This is unacceptable! I want my money back thats all and I will not stop until I do get my money back. I agree with the other reviews. I figured it would be a little messy, but boy is that an understatement. Sizes are everywhere. The labels on the racks do not mean anything. I found about 3 dresses I liked and after examining them, they were all ripped or stained. It was frustrating since finding them was a challenge. NO ONE tries to help you. The men's section was not any better. They do have a decent selection of men's dress clothes, but you need to have a lot of time and patience to find anything. The prices are OK for certain things. Nordstrom Rack's prices are so much better. Nordstrom Rack is also clean and organized. It was so odd to see clothes $500+, thrown around on dirty racks and destroyed like it was a thrift store. read more

They haven't gotten any better in the customer satisfaction business since dec review. Friday my hubby and I bought around $500 worth of merchandise..some which I returned today(we'd) with the receipt...no problem until I walked around the store and realized that some things I bought at 30 off we're now 40 off. I went back to the register with my receipt and was told they don't do price adjust which I now remembered is why I closed my Saks account! So...I go back and find the same items..purchase them at 40 off and hand it back to her to return with my 30 off receipt and she wouldn't do it...because she knows I'm using my old receipt not the one I just purchased with. After a lengthy argument with the manager Emma..I tell her I'm going home to get my clothes and I'll be back....I walked out beyond fuming sat in my car for 3 minutes calmed down and went back with a Nordstrom bag the receipt from Friday and they returned it.....told them I live right across the street....SERIOUSLY they made me do all that for what.... JERKS.....and by the way when I asked the manager for her name and number meaning sales number so I could report her...she gives me her phone number...that's a really bright one!! As I was trying to find a suit for my husband (for his sisters wedding) I had no choice but to take my 3 young kids shopping with us, a VERY RUDE worker yelled at my 2 year old and told me to get a babysitter next time I go shopping.
