My son received a birthday gift from this store and I'd come to exchange it. I advised the store rep of this and she constantly asked me for a gift receipt. Again, I repeated that it was a gift. "They usually still come with a gift receipt." Lady how many times do I need to explain that it was a gift. I promise that I didn't steal it. I advised her that I was just wanting to exchange it for a 7 or an 8 as their clothes seem to be designed for a pole. The store rep informed that they only go up to a size 6 and that I could receive a store credit at it's current value for the clothes. I don't know if she just slow because I don't see how that seemed like the logical solution at all. I advised her that I would give it back to the individual to return and get a refund so that they could get their entire refund. "Yea that would be good because you need that gift receipt." I'm not sure why she felt the need to keep stressing that. I even brought it back in the Janie and Jack gift box that it was given to me in. I'd never planned to shop in this store as everything is beyond overpriced. After today's experience they never have to worry about me coming back for a future child of mine, someone else's child or anyone else.

Especially for kids clothing. But if you're lucky enough to catch the sales and promos going on, the prices are fairly reasonable. This is the second time we've bought stuff from Abercrombie Kids and their stuff is really nice and they offer some very cute styles. Last time we bought a beautiful bathing suit, sweaters and jeans. During this visit, Abercrombie was having a great sale on many items. I bought a few pair of jeans, shorts, cute tops at 30-40% off the regular price. The nice part was if they didn't have the size that we needed, they will order it for you online if they have it in stock and ship it to you for free. That is service! We bought one shirt in store and had to order like 5 items online for free shipping. They also have XXS sizes online, not a size they typically carry in store. I didn't catch the name of the young lady who was helping us, but she was very sweet and helpful. The store itself is very organized with a wide selection. I don't think I would pay full price for Abercrombie Kids clothing unless it was something really worth it. I think it's fair to say kids grow so quickly that spending this kind of money on children's clothing is almost wasteful. But I love the style here and will try to catch sales whenever possible.

After they performed research they agreed. I asked if they would be returning the tax they collected to other customers. She said she would bring the matter up to her manager. I believe collecting tax on items covered under the tax free week is illegal. They sold out on many items. I can't even imagine how much money they have taken from customers during this week. Aventura Mall will always have a special place in my heart…read more Growing up in Miami Beach we often would take the S bus down to Aventura and just hang out. Back then, the S Bus would drop you off at the entrance of the food court and the mall was just 2 floors but look at Aventura Mall now! Completely unrecognizable to the Mall I remember as a teen. Especially since it seems like the average stores I remember are gone and it's all Prada, Gucci, and luxe stores now, but I'm not gonna knock it too much as I took full advantage and stocked up on my Nespresso pods while I was here. At least they still have JC Penny's. I was able to find a Miami Hurricanes shirt to bring back to my dad as a gift. They also have a Joe and the Juice store which I always stop by when I'm here and get a green tonic from them. I have to admit; I like how they revamped the food court so that its modern and has a wide variety of options. They even have a ramen kiosk! We also stopped by the new Eataly store, how can you not right? We didn't eat anything there, but I took advantage and bought some items they had priced on sale. In all honesty, I could see myself coming to Aventura often if I still lived in South Florida.
