They towed my car for allegedly being 2 feet or so over a barely visible white line , but instead of knocking on my door to tell me to move it, they towed it to Massachusetts which although close, was a pain to retrieve. What a fricken welcoming place this is. Apt smells of weed constantly but even though a " smokefree property" seems like an afterthought. Should've listened to the reviews.

Their prices were extremely unreasonable. Right off the bat I could tell that the owner of this company was more honest than the folks at Atlantic (or, the other, non approved AAA membership locksmith that I called from a Google search) because he explained the cost and process - it made a difference in price when I had both parts of the key. When the van came to my home, both the owner and his business mate were so kind, honest, did the job precisely and quickly (and with great conversation too!) They didn't charge me $40-$60 JUST to come out to my house. The price they quoted me is the price I paid. I recommend this business more than any other small business I can think of.

After Kristin and the other woman left, I noticed dust on the interior doors and dust on the kitchen island etc. Despite this, maybe I was being petty, I was signed up for monthly cleanings. In the meantime, I found out my dog would need surgery, 3rd in 2 years and this time I need Ocean State to do the surgery. I am sure this will cost at least double what I have been paying. I went back and forth on whether or not to cancel. I finally made the decision on Monday, called and left a message. Kristin responded by text and said she would call. She retuned my call on Tuesday, my monthly cleaning was scheduled for that Thursday. She told me because I did not provide 30 days notice, I would be charged for the visit regardless. I am dealing with health issues and did not want to reschedule or let them that day and clean. I will be charged for nothing. My card information is on file. Kristin is very polite, the cleaning was average and more expensive than I ever have paid for comparable cleanings. Buyer beware and make sure if you sign for a contract, you know the cancellation policy, in full before signing on. Cost me $200+ dollars but lesson learned. Comb over the entire website before signing up for recurrent cleanings.

Chris and I will miss…read moreyou!!! ------------------- It's going on 90 days since we moved into Cornell Mill Lofts, so I just wanted to give my impressions thus far. First, I'll say that finding an apartment during the Summer is, well, no vacation! We only had a short window from the time we had to vacate our previous address, to the time we had to find a new one. Thankfully, when I contacted Cornell Mil Lofts-- while driving and searching for apartment vacancies-- Joyce answered the phone, and she said to come down "now" and she would find us something. She did, and went above and beyond to get us into our apartment within days; not weeks or months. It's been a very pleasant experience to date. We really love the apartment and for our lifestyles, it's perfect. We have enough space for entertainment, dining, each with our own work/office areas... and that's just in the main room. Really liking the large windows that soar to the high ceilings, which bring in all the natural light we can handle! Old wood floors add much character, mixed with the more modern appliances and fixtures. The grounds/parking lot are well lit, and I feel very secure in and around the building, day or night. Unlike our last residence, trash/recycling is a breeze with separate dumpsters nicely situated at the far end of the parking lot. Also, a dedicated mail room means I won't have to worry about packages being left unattended outside. In 90 days, we did have one light bulb go out, which usually is not a problem at all-- except the ceilings are *really* high, so without any way to climb 15 feet, I had to put in a maintenance ticket. Within a day the bulb was replaced, good as new. That process was super-easy, just creating a ticket on the tenant portal. I will say I had one other problem, but that was with FedEx. FedEx delivered a few packages to another mill building nearby, but I couldn't find out from FedEx where that was. So I printed out the photos from the FedEx tracking page, and I asked Joyce if she could help me investigate. She was a great help, and I was ultimately able to retrieve my new rug! Thanks Joyce! The residents are always out and about enjoying themselves, the staff are smiling and friendly and the grounds are beautifully maintained. I've also had the chance to enjoy the food during visits and it has always been delicious. Sandra is especially wonderful to work with and always makes everyone feel welcome. It is clear there is a lot of care and pride put into this community. A beautiful place to live and visit in Portsmouth.
