The sushi and sashimi taste good and the cut rolls are pretty good. The prices are high for sushi but this seems to be par for the course in Europe. The reason I'm giving this place three stars instead of four stars is their service for the non-sushi food is very slow. We ordered noodles and that took over an hour where is our sushi arrived in about 15 to 20 minutes so we are waiting around for a very long time being told that the food was almost coming. Needless to say this kind of ruined the meal.

The cocktails were watered down, overloaded with ice, and extremely overpriced--a €20 Negroni and €18 Spritz is difficult to justify. I have no problem spending money for a great meal, but I find it unacceptable to pay premium prices for what felt was a very poor experience. I will not return and do not recommend La Pergola to anyone. You're clearly seen as a tourist and immediately taken advantage of. Shameful.

The Perfect Haven for a Solo Diner in Sorrento!…read more Naima Restaurant & Lounge is hands-down the highlight of my trips to Sorrento. Eating alone in busy tourist centers can sometimes feel rushed or awkward, but the spectacular food and world-class staff here made me feel instantly at home. I always make time on my frequent trips to Sorrento to visit for dinner. The culinary experience was absolutely phenomenal. I started with the tuna tartare special, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. For my main, I had the fish special served with an amazing, deeply flavorful sauce made from the bones of the fish--a masterclass in culinary skill. The staff recommended a local red wine to pair with it, which complemented the rich flavors of the dish beautifully. What truly made my night unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. I was enjoying the vibrant, bohemian atmosphere so much that I completely lost track of time. Instead of making me feel rushed to free up a table for a larger party, the amazing staff warmly encouraged me to relax, linger, and stay much longer than expected. That kind of genuine, unhurried kindness is rare when you're dining alone in a popular city. If you are traveling solo or with a group and want phenomenal, high-end food paired with hospitality that makes you feel like an old friend, Naima is an absolute must!
