The presentation was impressive, and you can tell care goes into the kitchen side of things. The ambiance is also nice and makes for a good date-night or casual dinner spot. Unfortunately, the service really fell short. We ordered edamame and waited over 15 minutes, only to find out it had been sent to another table. One of the servers mentioned that if they mess up, they have to pay for the dish themselves -- which honestly felt awkward and unnecessary to share with customers. Our sushi also took over 15 minutes to come out. Throughout the meal, our server seemed disengaged and largely ignored our table. When I asked for additional chopsticks, she looked at me and walked away to assist other tables. I eventually had to get up and ask if she heard me, and she replied yes. The interaction felt cold and impersonal, like she was just going through the motions rather than providing attentive service. Overall: great food, nice atmosphere, but very disappointing service on this visit. Hoping this was just an off night because the sushi itself was excellent.

There were 2 small metal tables that werent too comfortable to sit in but now we know. We asked to use the restroom and were told no kind of rudely. So had to go to Joes to use theirs. We actually debated going back but we were there and hungry so we went. My mom wanted two scoops of tuna for her 2 protiens rather than 2 scoops of different things and was told no that it would be too much tuna. Ummm, that is what she wanted. So she was basically forced to get tuna and crab salad. Then I guess the owner felt bad, she offered extra tuna for free and added it to my moms bowl. It was like we had to get what she wanted us to get, not what we wanted. Not sure I will be back.
