For example, besides bottled water the only other drinks were 2 liter sodas. There was no Parmesan cheese and we didn't spot the the dried red pepper flakes 'til we got up to leave. We were given paper plates but no utensils. There were three people working but only one seemed to be making our food. Though the other tables were still a bit of a mess, the other two guys sat behind the counter and looked at their phones throughout our visit. My girl was going to use the restroom but changed her mind because she was unable to get the door to completely shut. The physical setting of this pizza joint was not encouraging. Oh, the guy taking our "pizza, wings, 2 waters" order ($31) couldn't make change on a $50. "It's the middle of the afternoon and you don't have $19 in the register?" My girl and I looked at each other and the explanation suddenly registered in both of our brains: "They're near the highway, they don't take $50 & $100 bills because they're afraid to get fakes, but they won't tell us that or even bother to check the security features on our real $50." So we dug up between us the $31 in small bills. It would have been less irritating to be told the simple truth: We don't take big bills. I had the joint's all meat pizza, which came with pepperoni, ham, sausage, bacon, and ground beef. The thin crust pizza was okay. My girl had oven roasted wings with buttermilk sauce. She found the wings were juicy but thought the exteriors lacked crispness. Overall, it was unexceptional food. We were hungry when we walked in and when we left we were not.
