Worth the extra little hike I had to take to get here from my gate area. Not too crowded, plenty of seating, and super friendly service. I like ordering from the little iPad thingies because it's just a lot easier and you don't have to wait around for someone to check on you. I hate ordering from the little iPad thingies because they're probably covered with all manner of boogers and spit and other assorted grossness because people be nasty. Oh well. Had a couple glasses of wine, some deviled eggs, and a crab cake. A little disappointed in the selection of bubbles by the glass, but overall the wine list is better than expected for an airport. The crab cake was super fat, with hardly any filler crap, and really tasty. Lots of stuff to choose from -- you can easily make a meal just by ordering various appetizers/sides/etc. Yeah Newark is garbage, but this little spot kinda helps make up for it :) read more

Located conveniently on the approach to a group of United gates I stopped in for a breakfast and quickly regretted it. As all airport food, it is overpriced. $5 for a cup of tea, that is one tea bag and some Newark water in a cup. They use QR codes for menus and there are only a couple of people visible on the floor, limiting the service. I ordered the oatmeal and it was terrible. Basically, $25 for poor food and no service. I will not make this mistake again, and I recommend skipping this option if you are looking for a bite at the airport. read more

Very overpriced and poor service, it took forever for food to came out. The table was sticky and we barely see any server walk around. I would give them zero star and the food running wasn't nice too. Forget all these bad reviews! I'm a restaurant owner and this place is the best in newark airport. I had the burger that was cooked with real wood flame and was cooked perfect. (I was here 9/19/22 at 6:30pm). From now on this is the only place I'll come eat. My only complaint would be that I needed more sauce and I wasn't sure the best way to get it. Worst service I've ever seen in my life. Walked in and the waitress already seemed annoyed. I was walking to a table and The waitress bumped into me spilling some beer on me and instead of saying sorry or excuse me she was like "oh my god really?" And put the blame on me. Our favorite restaurant at Newark Airport. What I like about the restaurant is they leave you alone. You can sit there use the wifi and change our phone without being bothered. The restaurant makes it easy to get comfortable. The decor makes you feel like your sitting in a cafe in France. You can still people watch everyone walking by. They give large food portions for the price on the menu at the airport isn't that expensive. Two large waffles, scrambled eggs, and breakfast potatoes = $21. Every time we fly United, we always go back to the restaurant. read more

Ordered the 20oz Ribeye Steak and I must say it was cooked perfect, the meat was of high quality. I've had plenty of steaks in different parts of the country and this steak is in my top five list for sure. A tasty way to pass time while waiting for my flight. I know this is an airport spot, but it seemed upscale. With a 5 hour layover, we wanted something sit down and not the usual fast food airport type food. The service was hardly available and you have to ask and ask again for water. Our total bill was $60. I added steak to my market salad for $6. The salad was small, an appetizer portion. And didn't have much ingredients. Mainly just lettuce and thinly shredded carrots. The dressing was bland and the steak portion was small. The steak was cooked perfectly though. The nicoise salad was good and slightly larger than the market salad. I tried having my receipt emailed but it failed so I asked for a printed copy. I had a seared tuna salad, a glass of Sauvignon blanc, and french macarons and espresso for dessert. I am surprised at some of the low reviews on this place. I am a frequent traveler and I usually like to get a full stomach before I get on the plane and sleep. I found the service was good and fast! The resto has the self service machines for ordering, but servers are also wondering around asking if you need help ordering. I mean...the food really taste good. The shrimp on my appetizer were a nice size and my French dip sandwich was tasty as well. I think some of the low reviews are a bit harsh and this place is worth a shot.
