Came here for a specific bag they didn't have ended up with something better. Although the sales guy said that bag was sold out everywhere I went home and checked and it was actually available an hr away at a different YSL:(. I hired a photographer to take pics as I shopped on Rodeo for the day, as we are taking pics outside before we enter they tell us we can't inside. Major bummer but I still got some good pics! I ended up purchasing a beautiful denim puffer but my heart was set on the shearling bag. Staff is so so I've been to others stores and was accommodated more quickly. read more

This time around the purse I wanted was sold out online and I used the search feature online and it said it may be at this location. I wasn't sure what to expect when I inquired online for the item, but 2 days later I received a response from Meili via text. She showed me pictures of the bag I wanted and was really easy to communicate with. I wanted to drop by the store because why not? When I arrived at the store capacity was at a limit and masks were needed, and hand sanitizer and masks were provided if needed. I asked for Meili and my bag was brought out to me. I visited the Rodeo Drive location to purchase a handbag. I had 2 styles in mind and was contemplating the different bags. I snapped a couple pics to send to a friend of mine that owns a different YSL store at a different location for their advice . One of the salespeople, a woman with dark long hair, came up to me and rudely said in a condescending voice, "YOU ARE NOT TO TAKE VIDEOS"! The point here is, if she would have been nicer about it and not rolled her eyes and did not have a major attitude, she would have made at least a $5000 commission today. Believe, I will not nor will my friends be spending any money or time at this location. Rude customer service! Not once was asked or greeted! Won't be going back that's for sure! read more

Saint Laurent is a store named after designer Yves Saint Laurent YSL and is located on Rodeo Drive. Over the years, this brand store has moved at different locations up and down Rodeo Drive, now here on the same blocks as Harry Winston jewelry. The Tribute YSL sandals in a variety of textures and colors are what I collect. The 5 inch heels on a platform footbed along with the feminine cut on the sandals looks fantastic on my feet and they are comfortable to walk in. Today, while shopping, I walked inside and browsed through the displayed clothing and shoes. Turns out there are no new Tribute sandals that I don't already have...disappointed. The sales guy pointed out a pair and tried to claim they were 'new.' I disagreed because I owned the same pair, same color circa 2011, gifted by then bf ;) The guy insisted those shoes were new, and I just rolled my eyes.. he doesn't know. The store had too many employees standing around not offering to help potential customers. I saw other lovely gifts I was interested in, but since nobody was proactive and sales oriented, I didn't bother. I can always purchase the same items online without the attitude from the sales staff, who earned 2 stars. Because I like this brand, the location, the products, my overall rating has decreased as reflected. When sales staff have no sense of motivation to help customers in the store, I cannot recommend coming in here to purchase, as the staff resemble want to be mannequins with a pulse eager for a sale without an effort. Well, I am a high maintenance client, and when given exemplary service, will be a loyal client. In past purchases over the years, Saint Laurent has taken my phone order and have arranged to have staff walk and hand to me at my home or office both in Beverly Hills courtesy delivery. So being in this lovely store and having a reasonable expectation of service is non existent. Better to order by and have it delivered, service is better that way. read more

I went to the store with a vague idea of wanting an evening bag without being set on a style. Dylan the sales associate who assisted me in my purchase was very kind. I appreciated that he wasn't pushy on my first visit when I wasn't ready to buy. He offered some great suggestions on styles. When I came back the following week ready to buy, I was a little disappointed that upon entering the store, not less than 3 other sales associates looked at me and then looked away without offering any assistance or even saying hi. It did feel very unwelcoming. When I asked for Dylan, however, he greeted me with a smile and made the entire experience overall very pleasant. I would return based solely on my interactions with Dylan but wouldn't be looking for anyone else to help me. read more

Today I bought my first Yves Saint Laurent purse. I am more of a Channel girl but I have to say I was not disappointed! This location has most of their items in display which is great to figure out what you want! Justin helped me find the perfect item to match my style in no time. I have been a terrible client though as I thought the purse placed in the shopping bag was the wrong one (it wasn't, they did everything right) and Justin texted me back right away to reassure me all will be fixed. In the end, only my crazy needed fixing but he has been very nice and professional all the way. I highly advise this store that will take care of you and guide you as you would expect it from any respectable luxury brand. read more

This review is for the quality of the sac de jour nano crocodile embossed. We purchased the bag during our short trip in Vegas (without inspecting it, I know my own fault ) once we got home and unboxed the purse my husband pointed out that there are some stains on the back and the front of the bag, also a little bit of the glue lining on the bottom is scratched off. So we brought it in to exchange for another sac de jour nano croc embossed. I kid you not, all of the sac de jour nano croc embossed they brought out had defects on ALL OF THEM. Two of which was still in the shipping box they unboxed it in front of us and they themselves was pretty shocked (low key embarrassed) the manager was in awe, kept apologizing. I told them it wasn't their fault, maybe they need to bring this up to corporate and do a better job as far as quality control goes. We ended up purchasing something else. If you aren't looking for service and just need merchandise, this location is fine but..... If you're looking to build a relationship with reps and management, not the place for you. I went with my family to purchase a bag that we specifically wanted to buy. We had called beforehand to check if the item was available. The first problem was that the workers dont even know what time they open. When I called yesterday, they said they opened at 10 am, but after checking online, we found out they open at 12 pm. So we get there around 20 minutes before 12. We can wait. We see workers inside and they see us waiting outside. At 12, a balding man with a black shirt yells from inside the store that they are doing inventory and will open at 1. They dont even have the courtesy of speaking to customers face to face and yell through closed doors; this man was also on the phone while doing all this. If they know they were going to open open later than 12, they should have the common courtesy to 1. Put a sign up indicating their (very) late opening time and 2. Tell us - remember they had seen us waiting outside - that they were going to open later. The workers at this store do not have any manners whatsoever and should not be working in the customer service sector. read more

Cannot express how pleasant my visit was. I walked with my mother roughly about a week ago looking for a pouch that is completely back ordered but that I "need" for a wedding that I will be attending very soon. We were greeted by a gentleman at the door and then assisted by Troy Greene and he was completely committed to assisting us and some! He brought the pouch that I was looking for plus many more options for me to try and check myself out with! I wanted to take the time to write this review because we walked in completely underdressed, I had just had a surgical procedure across the store from the store & was wearing very comfortable clothes nothing flashy nor memorable yet the treatment we received was stellar. If I could rate Troy's sales/customer experience 100 stars I definitely would. But not just Troy every employee at the location made us feel welcomed and not at all out of place. I was looking for a wallet for my friend's birthday, so I email YSL.com customer service because the color that she likes was nowhere to be found in New York; they gave me 2 locations in CA where I can purchase the wallet, one of them is this place. Yeah... my experience was not great... it didn't feel like I was shopping at a "luxury" brand store. I didn't think of looking them up on Yelp before I made the purchase. I am not even surprised that they only got 1 star on Yelp... I had to rush the sales rep to place my order and ship it to me ASAP for my friend's bday party... First, I called and made the order by phone and email the info, they were really slow because after I emailed them I still waited for another whole day for my order to be placed. And when they were shipping the package out they didn't even inform me that the package was sent out or send me the tracking number to track it. Upon receiving, the packaging was SO BAD. The wallet is in a gift box with a weirdly tied ribbon... BUT there was no gift bag nor the sticker... I specifically told the sales rep that this is supposed to be a gift. But it just looks like I regift this to her because it just looks like it!!!! I had to try to go to the store here and ask for a better packaging before I gave it to her! I was originally going to give 1 star because this is so frustrating. I came into this store with NO intentions to purchase. I came to simply browse and decide what purse I may want to add next to my collection in the near future. I was doing so well too, almost done walking around Rodeo Drive without a purchase and at the last store I hit (YSL) I ended up caving and treated myself. I walked in to look at different styles because I already did have specific styles that I liked that I've seen online. Tony brought out all the bags I wanted to see, was patient, offered great advice, and was in no way pushy. You're even offered beverages as you shop around/wait for the purses to be brought from the back. Now being offered beverages in BH is RARE. Simply because most stores offer it to individuals they know are going to purchase or spend big $$ which is fine but it was nice that YSL in my experience offered it even though I wasn't sure if I was going to leave with anything or not (I made this clear from the beginning). I ended up purchasing a bag in a color way I didn't even think of wanting!! I went in with my heart set on the black on black Envelope Chain Wallet. Ended up leaving with a nude color (called Powder). Tony went above and beyond. Provided excellent customer service skills and not feeling pressured to purchase made my transaction that much better. We went to every single store in the area (Neiman Marcus, Saks, Barneys, LV, Valentino boutique) prior to coming to this boutique because I couldn't decide what I wanted. Also- the girl at Valentino was super snobby which is why I ended up strolling into Saint Laurent instead. Julie Park greeted us, and was an absolute ray of sunshine. I bought my girlfriend a YSL tassel purse (online) from a department store in the area, but a chain from the tassel was broken. I went to this location to see if they could help me out. Joel took care of me and provided the best service possible. He exchanged the purse for a new one and put it in their elegant packaging. +I got offered champagne upon arrival. This experience was so positive that I realized I should have came to buy the purse from the physical YSL boutique in the first place; this location is going to be my destination for purchasing Saint Laurent goods from now on. read more
