It was a fun day for all... Very Clean and comfortable. Our Cabana host Alec was so sweet and checked on us often. The kids had Chicken strips and fries - the adults had their pretzel which was all hot when we got it!

We made the hour drive to have some fun in the sun. The small water park is perfect for all ages. There's a water playground, two water slides, a lazy river, and a lagoon for everyone to enjoy. There are cabanas for rent, deck chairs, and plenty of tables available for us. The cafe has a good selection of food and drinks to choose from. I wasn't too fond of the half hour wait to get three grilled cheese sandwiches, fries, and a slice of pizza though. The staff either forgot about the order or they were short of help. There's also a lap pool for a small additional charge and the price wasn't too much more compared to other similar water parks I have been to. It is kept clean and the lifeguards were awesome with keeping everyone safe in the water. We had a great time cooling off on a hot summer day!

the lab pool is suitable for synchronized swimming competitions very good layout and bathrooms very clean

we had a great experience in this location attending to a Statewide synchronized swimming , the pools were well maintained, water temperature was perfect for the lap pool, the bathrooms were impeccables. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and very confident letting my little ones playing in the water park because they have an amazing safety protocol and the lifeguards were on point all the time I have never seen Lifeguards like that. i guess they went to a great training taking care of little kids You can tell great people works here the management works here, that we can tell.

Taking a break in front of the kiddie slides and the signature bucket of water that dumps a crap ton of water on unsuspecting children.

For $14 this is a pretty good value and I don't even have kids. I could imagine that this place would be a god send to parents of screaming ADHD children (and there were plenty). Even though the park has a limited amount of slides, we still had a great time. The lines are short so we were able to enjoy the bigger slides over and over again with very little wait. The lazy river is relaxing and we spent a solid 45 minutes floating around and around this thing. The tubes could be a bit bigger but this place is mainly for kids...I get it. I found the staff a little strict and over bearing. They were blowing their whistles left and right, which was a little annoying. Also, we had to take a swimming test in order to jump off a diving board. That was after we have been swimming around in their other pools for half the day. A swimming test? Seriously? My last criticism comes from the fact that they have a guy walking around in a sailfish costume. I secretly gave him the name of 'Sammy the Sailfish'. While I imagine he hates his job and probably drinks too much when he gets home, I didn't care and wanted to get my photo taken with him, but he disappeared almost as quickly as he appeared. This guy needs to be a regular fixture at the park. My selfie needs aside, if you want to get a kid to stop crying (and there were a lot of them), have them get a hug from a big fuzzy sailfish. All in all though, this place was great, a good value and if you have kids, this would be an ideal way to spend the day.

Me my little one and his BFF!

    Are coolers allowed?

I'm not sure you could call them. I would say no because they have food and drinks for purchase.

Is it worth renting a funbrella ? It's says a rental will guarantee entrance even if they reach 50% capacity

No I do not think it is worth it! There are other areas with shade and if you get there first thing you will have a chair and shade.

Overall, it's a fun water park, but there are definitely a few things to keep in mind before you go. The day of the week makes a HUGE difference. I've had the best experiences going during the week on a school day because you can actually ride everything without waiting in ridiculously long lines. On one visit, one of the lines took forever because the machine that brings the floats back up broke down and someone had to come fix it. One thing that really disappointed me was the music. Since Rapids is supposed to be a family/kid-oriented water park, I was surprised by how ratchet and inappropriate some of the DJ's music was. Even as an adult, I found it distasteful and really not appropriate for a place where there are so many children. The park could also be cleaner. The bathrooms in particular were pretty disgusting and didn't seem well maintained. The food is definitely overpriced, but that's expected at an amusement park. You also can't bring your own food into the park, so you're pretty much stuck purchasing food there. That being said, I actually thought the food was pretty good for what it is! I do think Rapids is really cute for kids, especially with all of the themed children's areas and slides. I still have fun every time I go, but I think it's important to set your expectations. Go on a weekday if you can, expect long lines on busy days, and be prepared for some cleanliness and music issues. Overall, it's still a fun day out, but there are definitely some things I think the park could improve.

I wish there was more shade for seated, watching parents, but so be it. There is a shady picnic grassy area adjacent to the splash pad that can easily be used to host a birthday party. The picnic tables are not close enough to the splashpad to be able to watch your kids from here. This whole area is fenced in and only accessible by coming through the front of the Aquatic Center's check in gate. Then only those who purchase additional tickets can enter this area to use the splash pad. My friend brought coolers and had a nice party here. We first noticed the splash pad during swimming lessons here. Since it is inside of the Aquatic Center, it is not very visible from the road. Please note that only bathing suits are allowed; no normal shorts are allowed. They will enforce this! Plenty of parking in the parking lot.

She's like going on and on about this is your receipt for a rain check and if you get it wet we aren't stamping it and you're not getting back in here, that's your responsibility. Seeing the park from a guest's perspective was truly special, and I was impressed by all the positive changes. What stood out the most was the lifeguard team. One lifeguard even took a moment to play Rock, Paper, Scissors with my daughter while still remaining fully attentive to her duties in the Lazy River. My daughter won and received a lollipop, a small gesture that made her day and perfectly reflected the balance between safety and creating memorable experiences. I also want to recognize the entire team from the entrance staff, security, servers, and management. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and made the park feel organized, calm, and relaxing despite how busy it was. The only constructive feedback I have is regarding the FlowRider. I came with my two kids (3 and 6), my parents, my brother and his family (1 and 6) and my high school friends and their kids (9 and 12) and EVERYONE had a blast! The key was to get there early so you could enjoy all the attractions without the lines that form as the day goes on. We found loungers right away, grabbed tubes and hit the lazy river, and after a few relaxing laps, we headed for the splash pad. My 3 year old didn't leave there for the rest of the day. He was completely enthralled with all of the splash features, water slides, and fun that surrounded him. The water was just deep enough that he could float around on his stomach but not deep enough to ever be too worried. The older kids and myself hit the big slides, which were a blast. For a small waterpark, these were solid. The design kept you on your toes and they picked up enough speed to give you a little rush.
