Nice area for larger venues. They have a mini beach that connects to the river. A nice dock that I believe you can fish off it could be wrong. 24hr water and bathroom access. Great courtyard, scenery. read more

I last reviewed this park five years ago and it's as nice as I remembered. it's a great water-front park with a variety of activities suited to all ages. There is a fountain that kids can play in; there is a beautiful beach; walking trails; scenic views, etc. Today's visit was a a gray, gloomy day with off and on rain, so the park wasn't as active as the last time I was here. Despite the weather, there was still a fair amount of activity. This is a great family-oriented river-front park. read more

We spent a month on Hutchinson Island and found Indian Riverside park was the perfect place for our daily walks. Located on the Indian River, there are plenty of nice water views and two small beach areas. For kids, there is an interactive "smash fountain" that always seemed to be busy. We would start our walk down the 700 foot pier that usually had quite a few people fishing on. Once off the pier, depending how you walked, there were a total of 1-3 miles of trails some in nicely treed shaded areas. Park was always immaculately clean (including the many restrooms). There are several pavilions available for private events as well as a larger area where we saw preparations for an outdoor wedding. Plenty of easy parking as well. Now we're home but know we'll be back at Indian Riverside next year. read more

Fantastic park! One of my favorite parks where I can walk my little dog. There are plenty of spaces to sit and look at the water or enjoy the greenery. This park is big. See photo. Plenty of activities for the kids and great for picnicking. Numerous shaded table pavilions (4) thoughtout . Typically grabbed for birthday parties. To north of main entrance circle, there is a relaxing pond with seating. Centrally located, there is a large white kids' museum with its fenced off playground. Three beach areas for visitors. A long pier to fish off of. A very large grassy area in front of the huge conference pavilion. One can see weddings and numerous events here. Plenty of parking except on busy weekends. For dog owners, there are 3 stations where one can get doggie bags. All are around the sidewalks of mani center. There are monthly events on weekends but typically this place is very mellow on the weekdays. Two convenient bathrooms: one near the center beach and one in front left side of large center. Bring your water bottle as they have bottle fillers. read more

Indian RiverSide Park is 63 acre park along the Indian River Lagoon. The park was opened to the public in 2001 when it was created from the land Martin County purchased in 1997 that included the Mansion at Tuckahoe and surrounding property. The park has a 3/4 mile walking trail and boardwalk through the mangroves, fishing pier, splash pad, picnic pavilions, butterfly garden, lakes, and open lawn. There are three buildings available in the park for rent for private events. The Mansion at Tuckahoe was built in 1938 for a Coca Cola heiress on top of a 4,000 year old Native American midden. Captain Henry Sewall's House was a post office built in 1889 and moved to the park. The Frances Langford Pavilion is a two story banquet space overlooking the Indian River. The park is also home to the Treasure Coast Children's Museum and the U. S. Sailing Center. On the night I visited there was s prom at the Mansion at Tuckahoe and a wedding at the Langford Pavilion. If you are having an event the historic buildings are lovely with the beautiful park providing the perfect backdrop for photos. The park is also wonderful for anglers and boater while children will enjoy the splash pad and museum. With over 4,000 years of history at this spot there is something for everyone to enjoy. read more

This really is a great park year round. I often run through the park and always enjoy it. The park has bathrooms, drinking water, and a little water feature for the kids (and I've used it too on hot days, it's quite refreshing. The park is laid out well, and on the north end feeds into the Martin County Sailing Center. The main park building has some great space for events (for instance one year the Treasure Coast half and full marathon had it's packet pickup, pre race dinner with a band, expo, and the race began the next morning from the park). Most any time of day or early morning you'll find people here walking their dogs (lots of trash cans along the path), people walking, or fishing off the dock. There also is a children's museum in the park, and a theater/music space. read more

Such a sweet hidden gem! I took my grandma there and she absolutely love it. There was a variety of walking paths to choose from, none too long which is perfect for elderly with mobility issues. It's nice to find little spot to be closer with nature and wild life that is only 20' from home. If you're lucky you may encounter an adorable pink crane at the lake. :) read more

I'm in horror after going there for the first time with my family today. The water was so disgusting beyond measure. The water was FILLED with clumps of what looked like decaying mushy flesh mixed with algae and seaweed all along the shore and floating in the water and it smelled horrific. The water was brown. There was a dead rat rotting on the sand near the dock. There were dead sand dollars and sea slugs all over not to mention people drinking and smoking all the over the place. We have lived in FL for 8 years and have NEVER been to a beach that was even near this disgusting. We will NEVER be going back. We felt filthy when we got back home. Come to look up that sewage from Okeechobee is dumped in that lagoon. Do not go here. read more

Great spot for a walk, run or some family time. It's not too crowded, so if you want some peace and quiet it's the right place to come. There are facilities in the park and it's clean and well maintained. Don't forget to catch the beautiful sunset. Loved my run along the shore and do intend coming back. It's a short distance from the hot and happening downtown Jensen Beach. read more

Mannnn. There are so many good things about this park. I feel like I need to bullet point everything so I think I will. *There's a paved section that runs around the whole park that people usually use to walk their dogs. *There's a dock behind the main building by the water that you can walk along or use to fish *If you have kids, there's an interactive water play area for them and also a Children's play area that has giant vegetables in it (I don't have kids so I don't know what else is there) *It also has some beachy areas where you can go in the water. I took my dog the other day, it's also a great spot for kids because the water is pretty shallow. *There's a big grassy area that's nice and it also has 4 pavilions in each corner is you want to get out of the sun or sit down and eat lunch. *A great spot for weddings. There's usually one almost every weekend going on. When there isn't though, you're able to walk up to the second floor of the main building and its a really nice view of the park and the water. Great place to catch a sunrise/sunset. Im sure I've missed some more points because that's just how great this park is. read more

IRP has solidified itself as Jensen Beach's crown jewel. This is THE place to host parties, weddings, banquets and events of such nature. It's often flooded with kids, but gasp over the oceanfront views and walking trails. Personally, I used to love running here back during my high school days. From Senior Prom photos, high school baseball banquets and most recently -- my nephew's birthday party -- IRP contains the space to take care of your most trivial desires. Don't let the Pokemon craze distance yourself from the park, because there's so much beauty to be appreciated. read more

Big park right on the lagoon. The Leach ("Tucahoe") mansion provides a lot of glamour. A hidden mangrove walk in the back of the park is fun. Kids will enjoy the fountain and park. Great place to go running! read more

Came here to work off some of that Thanksgiving meal. This is a really nice park. It seems that they have somethings for everyone. There is a great walking path that circles the entire park. In addition to that there is a big grassy area in the front to hang out or throw the ball around. They also have a pier to fish and a little sandy beach for kids to enjoy the water. Finally they have the typical picnic tables as well as a fountain that the kids can run through. I was also told that many people have weddings at this park. In fact, it seemed the they were setting up one while we were there. This was a great venue and would come back here often if we lived here. read more

First time coming here to this park and will definitely be back. I love how they have the fountain for the kids to play in and next to the fountain is the museum which I will have to check out next time because they were unfortunate clothes when I got there but I will definitely be back. read more
