She had a great sense of humor and even tolerated my constant jokes and smart comments. :) Everyone enjoyed their food and we are everything that was served. Good timing for me to try this place out in their original site before it is no longer. Luckily, they are moving to another brewery location (Monument) so we can all still get their tasty brews nearby. The atmosphere here was cool - lots of old Baltimore nostalgia around. You cross tracks a few times and then see the bright patriotic sign. I was immediately excited that I came. It was cold and during Covid so safety was definitely in play. Outside was cold but social distanced and upbeat with the Ravens game on the big screen. Inside a really warm bar that was fantastic. I do wanted to stay inside but Covid moved me out. No hard liquor was served. There was a dart board, shuffle board, Juke box, and a pin ball machine. The patrons loved to play darts. The dining room was only rented out for parties and events. She used to dance on the bar to get the attention of her husband. The prices of the bottled beer was 25 cents and the tap beer was 10 cents for a small and 15 cents for a large. There was penny machines on the bar where patrons can win drinks. My Mom is 90 years old now. This was a memorable time of her life. So glad the bar is still there.

We stayed in The Law Library. The view from the room was fun--we could look out our window and see people walking around the town. You can't beat the location--you can walk everywhere. The architecture was so cool. The house had lots of acute and obtuse angles to fit on the lot between the city streets. The living room was so cozy. I wish my own living room could be so welcoming. We especially loved getting to know Maggie the dog, sweetie extraordinaire. The couple that runs the property are nice and down to earth. They have coffee out in the morning and the woman cooks a full gourmet Breakfast where you get a chance to meet the other travelers! You also have access to Tea/cookies and snacks throughout your stay. It really felt like home while we were there. Parking garages are nearby and they can hook you up with a half off discount code. We'll be back!
