I will start with the not so great things. I've made two visits, one on the upstairs deck and one down stairs. I didn't care for eith bartenders. I didn't see the hustle. My bucket of beer on a Sunday cost $22. $24. Then $26???? Don't ask me why cost on 4 of the same beers kept changing. They have no beer tub servers on the ground which would have been helpful because each time I was there, a lot of people were there. Now the good: nice view, good music and I got a chicken parm wrap.that I thought was very good. They have parking and across the street they have overflow parking. read more

I kept a tab, service couldn't keep up. I ordered the $13 "stuffed jalapeños", ended up getting four turds dowsed in some brown sauce. Waited an hour for some catfish chum. Will not be back. read more

This place gets better and better every time I visit. I love the fact that they added food some tome back and now the menu options have expanded. Food is very slow to come out and I have seen but never experienced poor table service. The bartenders are awesome and make good drinks and serve chilled beer. The downstairs bar is limited in selection at times. We love the great view, that they are dog friendly, and they have good live music. Keep up the improvements! read more

I'm sure someone will be mad that I put their favorite unknown tiki bar on Yelp but, sorry, I just loved it. Two storey, palm trees, all outdoors. Opens late during the week -- at 5pm, so don't get there too early. Just added their own kitchen, will have meals in about a months. For now they still have food, it just is delivered from another restaurant. I loved this place, I loved Miller's island because I felt like I was in Florida, not Maryland. Sometimes I want to visit the Big Owl Tiki Bar on Kent Island but I just cannot sit through all that Bay Bridge traffic. Now I have another option: Row Boat Willies. Super remote, super mellow. That's all I'm telling - take the time to find it if you want. If not, more room for me! read more

Rowboat Willies is hands down the best tiki bar around middle river. I've been coming here for the past 5 years and am always impressed. The bartenders are great, the naturals are cold, and the frozen drinks are awesome. Sure, some people like the large crowds, a large pier, and overpriced drinks at a certain bar down back river. If you want a calmer, more laid back atmosphere, come to this bar. They always have great music and plenty of seating downstairs if you can't fit upstairs. And yes, I get some people complain about the food; it's bar food. However, every year this place is constantly making improvements whether its food or service. It's become a tradition among my buddies and I that the first day the boat hits the water is now known as "Rowboats day." Looking forward to another great summer! read more

People don't come to RBW's for the food... They don't come here for the freshly squeezed drinks... They come here for the spectacular view, the friendly bartenders, the relatively inexpensive drinks, the sun drenched deck, the mister that will keep you cool on even the hottest days, the occasional live music, the relaxed atmosphere, and oh... did I mention The View ? Row Boat Willie's has both drive up parking and several spots available in the surrounding marina and on their finger pier for arriving by boat. It's got palm trees, sand, and a second story deck with sweeping views of Hart Miller island and Craighill Channel Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Maryland. The drinks are cold and plentiful, but they haven't caught up to the "Crush Craze" that's sweeping the bay area, so don't expect any fresh squeezed drinks. They also either don't have a license or the room for a kitchen. But if you want a bite to eat with your cold beer or rum drink, the Islander Inn just across the street is a phone call away and is always happy to deliver right to your table at Row Boat Willie's for free. It's off the beaten path, but it's also a great time with a friendly crowd, and it's definitely worth finding your way here! read more

Heed this warning. Don't eat here and expect to be satisfied. I've eaten in some really odd and underfunded places. But I've never had a meal so bad. The burger was so over cooked and dry that I had to ask for a dipping sauce just to help it on its journey into my stomach. Please only come here for the drinks and the music. If you want an edible and filling meal, I recommend you go next door. My dog wouldn't eat this food. read more

So all night long I was drinking blueberry crushes and my fiancée ordered the same drink however was presented differently with being blue in color and absent of actual blueberries so I went back to the bar and shared my concern with Pam whom made the drink and who presented as the l"manager on duty" only when asked to be consistent with the drinks it was a joke to her so since she felt like it was my mistake and kept laughing about it, I asked her to check with staff to confirm and it was like a joke to her and she asked me if she needed to make me a new drink and I said yes she eventually agreed to make it but wow why should. I have to address this inconsistently? I am not sorry for this at all and think her customer service skills needs improving. ' read more

Terribly slow service. Over and hour for chicken tenders. Stood at the bar for 15 minutes before my group was acknowledged, during that time we witnessed a bar tending texting. Not equipped to serve in a timely manner. read more

Great place 2 go.Brothers Mike & Rob r the 2 owners that have been around the water all of their lives, and r extremely friendly. They appreciate your business & have instilled a positive attitude within their employees.
