Overall review: 7.8/10 Very large inside space for hosting all kinds of quantities if guests. They also have a stage where I assume they have Vietnamese karaoke parties here from time to time. We had a server who wasn't Vietnamese take our order and take care of us mostly, however the girl who brought us our food (or should I say.. took the food off of the robot who got to our table) was definitely Vietnamese. Yes, this place does have robots that bring you food from the kitchen. Definitely did not expect that from a more hole-in-the wall type place such as this one. Onto the food: Egg Roll: Rating: 6.5/10 Subpar, incorporated several Ingredients. Greasy. The ratio between the meat and vegetables was disappointing. The egg rolls came loosely wrapped resulting in oil accumulating between the fold of the egg roll. This causes air pockets. Clearly, the egg rolls were not wrapped hard enough. They did not drain the oil. They just fried it and served it. Also, traditionally egg rolls are supposed to come with lettuce wrap and pickled veggies. What came to our table was the bare minimum. N26. Beef Stew w/ Egg noodle & rice noodle / Hủ Tiếu Mi Bò Kho Rating: 8/10 Was baseline standard good. It came with all of the fixings on the side such as the herbs. The beef was tender, but there was a lot more tendon than meat. Not a lot of actual beef. The soup itself was well-seasoned, but still lacked a little richness to it. Vermicelli Noodles Salad Bowl: N01. Pork, Pork Patty, & Shrimp paste /Bún đậu mắm tôm, chả chiên, thịt luộc. Rating: 9/10 Overall was a solid dish served how it normally would be, with the exception that we did not see the crispy shallots served with it even though it is apart of the description. In fact, the picture of the food on the menu they gave us looks different. We didn't have the little red chili peppers either. The pork patty was delicious. The sauce was well-seasoned. The veggies were fresh. The tofu, patty, and pork slices were well balanced. This was our favorite dish from our meal. read more

The food is decent. We ordered the pho and a rice dish with steamed egg and shredded pork skin. The pho was good. It could have used a more flavorful broth. For the rice dish, the pork was great. However, the steamed egg was dry and tough. The menu has a wide variety of food selections, so I would probably order something different next time. The service was decent as well. Our waitress was attentive at first. But by the end of the meal, we had to keep waving at her to ask for the check. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came in, so she wasn't busy with having to focus on other customers. Ambiance is nice and calm. The ambiance is a wide-open white linen tablecloth dining room with a dancehall and stage to the right. The room is made cheerful Viet-Pop music playing softly in the background. The food is excellent: the pho broth was so good. Warm bone broth with fresh bean sprouts, basil and lime. Very traditional flavors. The service is fast and easy. The young ladies who served us were very sweet. A table of Vietnamese men took court at a round table speaking at a low volume, plants and flowering trees allow you for however momently forget where you are in the world. Great service and good food. I love the clean and spacious restaurant with cute lunar new year decorations. I came here with my husband and had a nice meal. I especially enjoyed their egg rolls and their bun đâu mắm tôm dish and my husband thought their rice dish is okay nothing specular. I would come back for bún đậu mắm tôm. I've been spoiled with pho back home before I moved to Chicago because when I started my regular pho search here in my new home area, it's been very disappointing. I have even made pho from scratch so I am very familiar and aware of what it's supposed to taste like. Unfortunately, almost every pho place I tried was a either a let down, weird taste, or just plain bad. To list some of the places I tried are: - Phodega (just awful and broth was very salty) - Tank Noodle (decent pass but not great) - Bon Bon Sandwhiches (should be a criminal offense. Soup was bland and tasteless, noodles were not the right kind and more like flat, thick udon noodles) Saigon Pho is about as close as to a very good and authentic taste you will find that I have gathered from the places I've tried. It seems the farther in the city, River North, the farther the authentic taste becomes. read more

4.8/5 This place looks unassuming but the food is great! The egg rolls were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pickles and dipping sauce paired perfectly. The pho was really good. The beef flavor was rich and it was umami and slightly sweet. The pho noodles were cooked well and texture wise was great. The only thing is that when they served it, it was extremely extremely hot. Like inedible hot. It really took us about 15 minutes till we could comfortably eat the pho and it ended up overcooking the beef slices. The chicken was good. Based on the positive reviews I was expecting the place to live up to the so called 5 star ratings. However, in my experience, this place fell very short of living up to those high expectations. I gave it two stars because the place is clean and the Pho was good. HOWEVER, the beef banh mi was HORRIBLE. The bread seemed OLD and it was SUPER CRUSTY and CRUMBLY. However, the kicker is the amount of "beef" that it had. I have attached a picture of a piece that they included. It was cut so thin both in length and depth and there were only about 5 pieces of this "beef" on each side (they cut the sandwich in half). This is very very stingy and a huge turn off. The Thai Iced tea was also not very good and had a horrible after taste. When we were getting ready to pay, the two girls (there was no one else in the restaurant and both had brought us something, either the drinks or the food) were to busy looking at their phones to come notice that we were done and bring us our tab. Its a shame they choose to be so stingy because since the pho was good, I would've been back to try other things but I certainly will not risk it after seeing their pathetic amount of beef they add to a "BEEF SANDWICH" read more

Hand hand sanitizers and masks are provided at a table at the very front as soon as you walk in. There are signs that say no masks no service. There are a decent number of people there because the restaurant is popular and people like their food. Siagon Pho provides good high-quality Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices. Their soup is delicious and hey use good ingredients which makes a big difference. Absolutely terrible Vietnamese food. The only thing that was remotely authentic or edible was the steamed rice. Protein portions are really small and everything was so salty I ended up throwing it out. I ordered the pork chop and rice, their bootleg version of lemongrass chicken (they sent pork), and spring rolls (decent roll but the sauce tasted like peanut flavored soap). I am shocked this place has the stars they do. I didn't order pho so maybe that's the jam here, but I'm out almost $50 and hungry. Love this place. I'm so happy that a Vietnamese restaurant finally opened in this area. I order delivery from them at least once a week. They're very fast and the food is on point. We always get the rice with pork chops and beef pho. The food is still piping hot when delivered. Their quality is always consistent. The absolute best pho! Their broth is hearty and healing; you can literally feel your body taking in all the golden broth. I love that their pho broth isn't too sweet. This is one of the only Viet restaurants that offers 100% Vegan broth for the vegetarian pho, thats in addition to their traditional pho broth, of course! Saigon Pho's dishes are cooked authentically and fresh ingredients encompass every dish we have ever tried at this restaurant. The flavors show just how well the chefs know their craft when it comes to authentic Viet food. I also appreciate that the owner is often present at the restaurant. It shows his dedication to his restaurant and wanting to make sure everything is prepared and given to his customers in the best way possible. This restaurant is soooo clean! Absolutely spotless and that's a telltale sign that a restaurant is a safe place to eat. The tables, floors and washrooms are impeccable.
