I went to enjoy the karaoke for a birthday celebration but throughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It felt like a friendly neighborhood spot. My husband and I finally stopped by after quite sometime of intrigue. Saigon Night did not disappoint! We ordered long island ice teas (they were strong and yummy), light and crispy fried calamari, fantastic shrimp fried rice and a shrimp and lemon grass stir fry. And the egg/spring rolls were crispy and delicious Everything was packed with flavor! The owners were so welcoming and kind- as were all the other patrons! I mean, really just great vibes! I did get to perform a song, which was fun. But next time (there will definitely be a next time) I'm bringing friends and family so we can rent out one of the private karaoke rooms! Only used the private karaoke rooms and got drinks from the bar. Hole in the wall place that's decently nice on the inside. Extremely accommodating staff that was very nice. Karaoke room was clean, small room fit 10 of us comfortably (we are all skinny so larger individuals may have a more difficult time). I've been there during the day and the staff is great, but also had a great pho (perfectly tasty, hot, balanced), and a not good pho (bland, tough pho tai, not so well brewed broth). Went there last week at lunch. Menu contains the usual suspects. Chatted to the owners while food was prepared and they clearly love their craft. Had the house fried rice and pork bahn mi. The house fried rice was generous on the meats / veg, and seasoned well. The bahn mi is probably one of the best I've had in the city (the egg was a surprise). I wanted something a little more permanent to remember that day, so was a little disappointed at the lack of a gift shop. Came here for my friend's birthday and it's was great experience. The owner was super nice and the food was delicious but some was over salted. We got the most amazing waitress and love her. The mussels it's a must get, that was my most favorite of all. read more

The food is good here. The BBH was flavorful here and the banh mi is a close second for me. The downfall here is the service! I've dined in and for a sandwich and bowl of noodles it took 2 hours from start to finish. That is ridiculous. Today, most restaurants can serve you from start to finish in an hour. The second time I ordered take out and called ahead (20 mins) and still waited another 30 mins with no customers inside the restaurant. Went back to SN for lunch today. Had the BBH. 9.5 /10! So good and satisfying. They did not skimp on meats. Vegetables were fresh. Did not need to add any other sauces. My friends and I used to come when it was called Gachi many years ago when we were in college. It's been quite a while since because this location is a little further out from us and Seoul Food Karaoke is closer. We finally visited two weeks ago when Seoul was fully booked and we are really glad we did. They do have their own parking lot and the building looks the same on the outside - a little sketchy but they did wonderful renovations to the interior and it's a lot nicer on the inside. We rented one of their smaller karaoke rooms and I like that their karaoke system has the option of using their music library or Youtube (has newer song options) versus the karaoke rooms at Seoul. The only problem is that later in the night, it did get pretty busy and the internet connection starts to slow down and some of the Youtube karaoke refuses to load. As for their food items, we ordered the hotpot. It took over an hour to get, hopefully it was just a one time occurrence that it took so long because the tom yum broth was amazing! We ended up spending three hours there and the prices were great. We will definitely be back! read more

So my best friend lived in Japan and told me how wonderful private karaoke rooms were. 8 years ago in FL my husband and I were lucky to find a place that had private karaoke rooms the night before our wedding. Our first experience and we loved it. Since then it's been very hard to find bars with private rooms. This place is one of only 3 on the east coast apparently. This We just celebrated a birthday there last night and had an AWESOME time; the acoustics in the rooms were great, the song selection was excellent, and drinks were wonderful. Bottom line, with the right group of people, you will have a great time. The service was great; very attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, the drinks were strong, the bathrooms were clean, all the equipment worked, etc. The reason why I am deducting one star is because there could be a few improvements. Our private room (which we reserved ahead of time) was not very clean. There were stains on the table cloth as well as on the floor that seemed to be from the night before. The actual system itself is Korean. Although it plays a very current list of songs (it gets updated every 6 months), and the lyrics are written in English (not 100% accurate but whatevs), the visuals are snippets of what seem like Korean soap operas. They are unrelated to the songs and repeat over and over. Additionally, apparently it is a system that scores your performance but it isn't set up to actually get a score so every song ends with you getting a score board of "00" and very high pitched Korean blurb that you wish you could fast forward through at the end of every song. The menu is limited but then again it is a Karaoke lounge, not a restaurant. Expect a lot of fried options (see my pictures for the menu) like mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. My party and I ordered the fried Calamari, BBQ ribs, Mussels and a fruit platter. Everything was prepared fresh but the BBQ ribs were fried and not advertised as such on the menu. Overall, it was a fun experience and the service was great. Would definitely do again but would eat before arriving. It was the first time anyone in my party had been there and we spent almost 4 hours there! read more
