Amazing food, great service, average ambiance. Everything here is good! The spring rolls are the…read morebest I've ever had and I'm getting up there in years. I'd been craving the Khao Soi since he last time I had it and it did not disappoint! I think it might have been a little less spicy with tofu instead of chicken. It was mild to medium spicy for me. The desserts were unusual and more for the adventurous eaters which I am and enjoyed but most didn't. The curry fried rice is imagine the taste of curry powder sprinkled on something like chickpeas but on rice. It was very good but nothing too exotic for both the good and the bad. As usual I can't wait to return.

So happy that I found this Thai place last week. Even happier that I found it during lunch hours…read moreand was able to take advantage of their lunch special. I came by on 6/19 and was sat with no wait at a booth in their bar area. The waitress was very nice and held multiple roles (greeter, waitress, bartender, cashier etc). After ordering she brought us out a complementary sample of some of the best soup I've ever had. The broth was packed with flavor and it had little pieces of tofu in it. I would go back just for the soup alone. The food was equally as good. I ordered the Cashew nut lunch entree that came with white rice. Again, full of flavor and only mildly spicy as I can't handle much heat. Served steaming hot and with a decent portion size. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of places to return. *Sorry for the poor picture quality. The place was dimly lit and I was super hungry so I didn't prioritize photos on this one.

Since I moved from NYC I have been desperately searching for REAL Chinese food. Lee Cafe came…read morehighly recommended by another NayC transplant so I figured I'd give it a go. I ordered the sesame chicken dinner, wonton soup and an egg roll. The egg roll was soooooo small...super lint and little. I co my s from a place where one egg roll can be shared by two people. Thick and super stuffed. Forget that. It doesn't exist here. The mini egg roll was dry and you couldn't even tell what was in it. The wonton soup broth had a great flavor but the wontons were not fresh. They were gummy in a creepy kinda way. Frozen with freezer burn was my best guess. The sesame chicken was super super super OVERFRIED. Dry as a bone inside. This had clearly been pre fried and then fried again and dipped in a sticky sauce with weird texture. Kind of tasted like sesame chicken but the texture of the sauce and the dry chicken were disgusting. I spit it out. This place is a nicer version of Panda Express. If you like Panda Express .....bless your hearts than you might love this place. Those of us who have been exposed to amazing Chinese food at super cheap prices are not loving the Chinese food offerrings here in the Carolina's. Yuck

We had the best time at Lee's Cafe! Took our kids for a New Year's Eve dinner and the reviews did…read morenot disappoint. We got there early and the place was already packed with folks ordering take out, as well as starting to sit for dinner. The service was not impacted whatsoever. We ordered appetizers of edamame, miso soup, and crab Rangoon which all came out quickly and was delicious. The kids easily split the sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein which is their absolute favorite. My husband ordered the super boost roll and said it was incredible. I ordered the rainbow roll and it was also perfectly done. We were all stuffed, and my kids are already begging us to come back again soon. We will certainly be back again soon to try something else since the menu has so many options.
