This restaurant is as close as you can get with the taste and pure ingredients that you get with the real deal! I totally recommend the #18 Phó Bowls and Spring Rolls as an appetizer. On a recent trip to Bluffton, we were so excited to try this little Vietnamese restaurant. We started with the Soft Spring Roll with Shrimp and Pork. It was pretty good. Usually these come with just shrimp, so it was cool to have the pork in it. Hubby and I had basically the same pho - pho with rare sliced beef. I ordered the regular, and he got the spicy. It was definitely the real deal. My only disappointment was the beef could have been more rare. It was pretty fully cooked. The wait staff was attentive and we were checked on by a gentleman who I believe was the owner. Great little restaurant if you're looking for some pho. read more

I went to Vietnam as a tourist and really liked the food prepared by the street vendors. The flavors at Saigon Cafe are the same. I eat here once a week for lunch. The service is improving and the waiter who used to speak no English is making great strides. I like the beef stew with baguette. The beef tendons soup is good too. read more

This restaurant is truly a gem in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area. I highly recommended it. I always get the crispy egg rolls they are amazing! The Pho soup is really good I have tried the chicken and beef versions and they are both really good but I prefer the rare beef. The service is exceptional as they are both fast and courteous. The Pho Ga (chicken pho) is fantastic. Same goes for the spring rolls and crispy rolls. It's a family owned business and you can tell they take great pride in their food and service. I always make a point to eat here when I am I town. Carryout is great as well. read more

In the past 6 months i have been to Saigon at least 7 times.After enough people complained about the padding on the seats,they are finally redone. I love eating the lunch special but the atmosphere has a lot to be desired. Every time I've went in there it is very hot. They have a portable air conditioner that is set on 82 in the middle of the summer.Today when I was there I told the owner it is very hot in here and his reply was drink more water. The food is great but the atmosphere is that of a 70s restaurant . To show you how cheap the owner is the waitresses and waiters do not get their tips they are paid an hourly wage.My suggestion is that if you like the food get it to go so you can go enjoy it in your own home in a cool environment. read more

The reason I give 3 stars is because of the friendly staff. The food is not very good. I think they use MSG to make the broth. The seafood in pho is kind of generic. Compare to the price with the quality of the food, this price is pricey. I read a lot of good review so I may have high hope for it. The place I normally go to in Chicago is about $10 a bowl of pho and cannot finish the bowl sometimes. This bowl is $13.95. I am not totally full. read more

Amazing! I tried the Pho for the first time here and it was delicious. We had a short wait for a table, but once we placed our order it was surprisingly quick. Had dinner here Thursday night. Decision was based on all the positive reviews. Over priced and underwhelming food.l!!! First, Vietnamese food is supposed to be cheap, and here I'm being charged $14 for a bowl of pho with just rare slice beef; no other trimming whatsoever. No nam, guan, sac, etc. My wife had some bun for $14 too. The proportions did not justify the price and the taste was overwhelmingly sweet. The waitresses we're unauthentically white girls who weren't attentive a bit. I had to physically walked up to one of them by the register to ask for extra noodles. Oh well, I guess this is all I can get in the middle of nowhere South Carolina. read more

The Pho soup is DELICIOUS! Their staff is friendly and their service is very quick. I once had a strong craving for it and ordered takeout. I went to my car to wait a few minutes before coming back in to pick it up and they brought it out to me! So nice of them. This is definitely a place we frequent. read more

Surprised this place isn't ranked higher on Yelp, as it is the number one Bluffton restaurant on Trip Advisor. Though the food was very very good, the highlight of the experience we got was the incredibly warm greeting we got by the man I assume was the owner. With a wonderful handshake, he took us to a table and made us feel very special to be at his restaurant. The waitress also was very friendly. Good itself was terrific. I only do takeout here, so I can't speak to the wait staff, but the overall atmosphere for a place like this is just fine. I love the pho and the crispy chicken. We average 3x per month getting take out and never have had an issue. The man who runs around always greets me with a hearty hello like we are old buds and when I get home, I'm never disappointed. Our to go to place! We have never had a bad experience here and we eat here twice a week! The pho is amazing and the soft spring rolls are made to order so they are fresh and delicious! The vermicelli pork (#34 on the menu) is out of this world. Also, eating local I can tell you that you are supporting very good people. Best pho soup in bluffton/beaufort area. Moving from a place that has Vietnamese food everywhere, and just food options in general everywhere, i was hoping that the pho here was better than the ones in beaufort, and boy was it good! This place is absolutely delish! If you love Asian food, Thai food, Indian food, you'll love Vietnamese. I've had the pho and broken rice dishes both are delish. I've also had the pork dumplings which were yummy. The service is great too. I think the owner actually waits on tables as well. Our water glasses were never empty and they always cleared away the finished plates. Basically this restaurant is a must go to if you're in the Bluffton or surrounding areas. I was sooooo excited to have a Vietnamese restaurant in Bluffton but I am pretty disappointed. We've been here several time because it's different then other restaurants here - but it's pretty average. The beef pho was just boiled nasty steak on top and the seafood pho was ok. The best dishes I think are the pork over vermicelli and the spring rolls. However, if you've had great Vietnamese dishes from other places before this food really can't compete. One time we ordered the bubble tea (which I usually love) - it took them about 30 minutes to make it, I think we were the first people to order it. The staff is made up of a family - which I usually adore Mom & pop places - but they honestly need more help! They are getting worse on the service and food quality suffers the busier it gets :( There also a language barrier so it makes it hard to ask questions about the menu. I know this may seem petty but we always ask them for an extra plate (for our child) and we always have to ask them 3 or 4 times before they bring us one. Ah what can you do...... if you never tried Vietnamese before then check it out - if you have then you may go away a little disappointed. read more
