I have been coming to Sai eyebrow threading for coming up on 3 years & I don't trust my eyebrows with anyone else!! I always see Paru (seat #1) and she is a sweetheart with talented hands! I have very fine hair, that is light brunette (blonde in the sun) so if you pull one too many hairs I HAVE NO EYEBROWS! Waxing makes me breakout, so I have tried just about every threading joint from Yorba Linda all the way to Costa Mesa & Sai is THE BEST! Paru is fabulous, always gentle, kind, and knows exactly what's she's doing. She is very experienced and precise, so if you're in a time crunch- you can be in and out of there in just a few minutes. Another reason I love this place is they always have some sort of special going on, daily and monthly specials which no other threading place has matched since I found this wonderful establishment. The staff are nice, the business is VERY CLEAN, well kept, and nicely decorated (very cute). The quality of service, cleanliness, and end product are really what keep me coming back- the low prices are just the cherry on top! One last thing- if you struggle with blonde or thin eyebrows like myself, they offer eyebrow tinting (lasts 2-3 weeks) and it is AMAZING. It takes about 10 minutes to dry and you won't have to worry about filling in your brows or the pool/ocean washing them off for the next few weeks. Definitely worth a try! So I had purchased a Groupon for three sessions. My first session was okay, she did a pretty good job although when I got home I did see a few hairs left behind here and there. I went in for my second session on a Monday and they were closed early! The hours online clearly stated that they were open till 6pm so I was happy to take the long route home after work to get my eyebrows done cause I had an important event the next day. I get there at 5:35pm and all the lights were out and the door locked. I don't know about about anyone else but I feel like if you're advertising open hours you need to stick to them. I ended up driving an extra 15 minutes for nothing. Not only that, but now my eyebrows aren't going to be done in time for the event. I shouldn't have to worry about double checking whether or not these guys are open when they say they're going to be. Super unprofessional. If it wasn't for the Groupon, I would not come back. read more

I've gotten so many compliments on my eyebrows, which were a mess from years of electrology, which messed them up, leaving them so uneven. This review is for a Brazilian wax. I wish I had the technician's name, but I don't. She was an older lady that barely spoke English. Anyway, she was nice, No complaints there, but the wax experience itself was the worst I've ever experienced in 3 years of regular waxing. When I left I noticed that my private area felt like it was burning, was very sensitive, but I didn't think anything of it cause if you've ever gotten a Brazilian wax you know those can be very painful. Anyway, when I got home I noticed some areas very very red, that's when I realized that my skin had been burnt! It was awful. I had to use Neosporin to treat the burns and was in pain for like two days. I guess you get what you pay for. The groupon deal very cheap. Never again. read more
