Went to see Dr Ducharme after being referred to her for s surgical procedure. The woman at the front desk was not friendly or helpful. I signed in and sat down. I came 15 mins before my appointment so I could fill out paperwork. After sitting for almost 10 minutes I figured I better go up and ask for the paperwork. At that point she said she was sorry and handed me the stuff to fill out. I was taken for my appointment right on time. The nurse was friendly. When Dr Ducharme came in, she had already reviewed my paperwork that the ER has sent her. She was super efficient, caring, and answered all my questions. She did my surgery a few days ago and all went well. I'd definitely recommend Dr Ducharme! I also dealt with Liz in billing/insurance and she was great as well. Great experience with most of the folks here! read more

I work with both Dr. Guillermo Higa and nurse practitioner. Billie Jo both are excellent. Dr. Higa performed a hernia surgery for me a few years ago and we had excellent results. Periodically come back for checkups and both have been extremely friendly and professional. read more

Dr Hatch is nice but they'll send you for expensive tests and never call you with the results and you can't get in to see anyone for months. He won't even do a tele appt just to give you your MRI results so it's a waste of time and money with no plan of action. Go somewhere else! read more

My husband has been struggling with a wound on his foot for the past 3 years-almost the entire length of our marriage/relationship. The pain and stress that he has gone through has been beyond what anyone can imagine. Dr. Michael Lavor is the best doctor anyone could ask for. He is dedicated, determined, persistent to fix my husbands foot and he does NOT give up...not on his own work OR on my husband. He is always an open door and answers our questions and concerns, and truly CARES about his progress. He is motivating for my husband and saved my husband from the risk of losing his entire leg completely. The staff is helpful and prompt and they are always friendly and on top of calling to confirm and schedule his appointments around our family's schedule. This is the best place you could go to for vein/vascular care. YAY Dr. Lavor!!! Stacy Taylor read more

This office doesn't even deserve one star. 2 hour wait time for a sugary consolation is despicable! My husband had an appointment at 4:15 we arrived 10 minutes early. We have now been at the office for two hours and are still waiting to be seen. When we were moved back into an exam room we were told that there were still three patients ahead of us and that was an hour ago! This is insane read more

The first time I came to the office to see Dr. Namanny I loved him. Even though I waited to be checked in over 4 minutes. I stood and watched the front desk woman(older Hispanic women short hair) on Facebook and text, when I finally said hello to her I scared her so bad she threw her phone. She then treated me as I had interrupted her. I thought maybe she was having a bad day... Until the next time I came in. I checked in with the same woman again she was using profanity and was seemed to be having a very bad day. She was with another girl upfront talking with her (lady with short black hair). I was told to have a seat. This time I was not checked in apparently. I found this out after I sat out in the waiting room for an hour. I never received my results as Dr. Namanny had left. I will never be coming back. Note to the Doctors you are only as good as your office staff. read more

Would not recommend this practice. Had a consultation with Dr. Lew for a hernia on 4/11 after being referred by my PCP. Right from the start Dr. Lew did not seem interested in performing the procedure. He explained all of the complications that could arise if not treated but ended with "since its not causing you any pain or discomfort, you don't have to do anything about it right now." When I explained that I wanted to proceed with the surgery based on my PCPs recommendation he stated it would be 2-3 months before they could fit me in. He said their scheduler would call me within a week to schedule the procedure, but if I didn't hear from them within a week to call the office. After a week of not hearing from them, I called the office as instructed and was told the scheduler was sick that day but should be back tomorrow. Called the next day and was sent to the scheduler's voicemail. Called the following day and was told the scheduler is out with the flu but would return my voicemail as soon as she returned to work. Waited another week with no return call and left several voicemails over the ensuing days. Waited until April 26 without hearing back from anyone and messaged my PCPs office to ask if there was another surgeon they could refer me to and was told "the scheduler is out sick this week" and if they referred me somewhere else it would delay the surgery even further. Still no return call by the middle of May, so I called another practice that my wife had previously visited and was pleased with. Was able to schedule a consultation that week and before I left the office, my surgery was scheduled for 6/1. I am now recovering from surgery and still have not heard anything from Saguaro Surgical nearly two months after my consultation. However, they did charge my insurance over $300 even though I paid my co-pay for the consultation and they provided NO SERVICE whatsoever. Bottom line, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with Saguaro Surgical, they clearly don't need the business. read more

Dr Matthew Weiner and Dr Michael Lavor have taken such good care of me. Dr Weiner has been my surgeon for 2 years now. He had to repair huge holes in my stomach, and saved my life. I had ulcers caused by a botched stomach stapling 20 years ago. He did a thorough scope exam and found six serious life threatening issues. He performed stomach repair surgery, he did a roux N Y bypass and gave me my life back. I had no complications from the surgery itself, but one of the laproscopic holes became seriously infected and made its own fistula, (tunnel) to get the infection out of my body. Dr Weiner went in to remove the fistula and found I had infected mesh from a hernia repair surgery I had had done 15 years ago. It was the wrong kind of mesh, he removed it, biopsied it, and the mesh was also killing me. . He saved my life surgically twice. Dr Lavor who is a wound care doctor, is trying to retire. Dr Weiner and Dr Lavor have worked together on my care. Dr Lavor has also saved my life both with wound care and surgery to help the wound care. They are both very no nonsense doctors who expect their patients to do their part on healing their bodies. Dr Weiner is a believer in lifelong nutrition. I am a nurse, and learned I didn't know anything about truly great sustainable nutrition. I recommend Diedra, NP nutritionist. She is brilliant too. This office employs such amazing talent who work together to heal their patients, and have perminent results! I love them all. I was dying and didn't know it. Jessica who assists both Dr Weiner and Dr Lavor is the most caring, and truly knowledgeable medical assistant who keeps her employers in line. I know all of them well, they love their patients, but most importantly, they educate their patients. Thank you all so much! I adore all of you! read more

Dr. Manoharan is one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered. Is it because of a medical procedure done wrong? No, it's because of a medical procedure that he refused to do. My partner went in for gall bladder surgery consultation. Upon seeing that my partner was overweight, he launched into a barrage of stereotypical questions that are purely ignorant and not medical. He assumed he had knee problems and back problems and told him he needed to have gastric bypass surgery because he wouldn't anesthetize him because of the risks but he would refer him to a colleague in the same office for gastric surgery. He said the gall bladder could be taken out at the same time of the surgery. Odd since he wouldn't entertain the surgery for the gall bladder because of the risks but the gastric surgery would be ok to put him under? We are aware of the weight issue and my partner has lost 50lbs in less than a year, goes to the gym regularly, lowered his A1C all while quitting drinking and smoking. The issue with this doctor is that he treated my partner like less than a human being, like the SOLE reason for any of his problems was the weight. He seemed more interested in drumming up business for his colleagues and degrading my partner in front of me. My suggestion to you, Dr Manoharan is to learn some people skills and reflect on your own feelings and the prejudices you have against people who are overweight. You might find that you become a better doctor or a human being if you treat people respectfully. read more

I had my first appointment with Dr..Namanny at saguaro surgical on June 7 at 1045. I arrived 15 minutes early. The receptionist was not friendly and handed me paperwork to fill out. I was taken into the room at 1100. My vitals signs were taken by a MA who was not very happy either. She did not even introduce herself. I was asked to change out of my pants and put a gown on. 5 minutes later the doctor came in and asked me why I was there. He took a look at my leg and then brought a ultrasound machine in. He did a couple minute ultrasound of my leg and said I needed a closure fast procedure. They asked if I could have a more thorough ultrasound that day. I could not. I got dressed and went to check out. They said someone would be in contact with me to schedule ultrasound. I left and went to another appointment for the same thing. It was a total different experience and no charge for the consult. Much to my surprise a week later I received a bill for $178.00 for less than 20 minutes. I was billed for a 45 minute consult. I placed a call to the office twice disputing the charge and was told both times I would receive a return call within 2 days. I was never called back. I work in the medical industry and am appalled at the way I was treated. I had asked both times to speak with the office manager and was never given that opportunity. I am very disappointed in this office and I will never recommend them. Not only was I overcharged but I was treated without respect. Be careful of this surgical company. read more
