The only bison on the menu was bison steak at over twice the price! When the server arrived (the only pleasant experience of this visit), we placed our orde, a Western burger for me and a mushroom burger for my wife. I asked if the had a Military discount. They said yes. When the burgers arrived, they were dry, like they had been sitting under a heat lamp! When we were done, I took Khaleesi outside so she could "take care of business" and my wife stayed inside to pay for the meal. When asked for the Military discount, they hemmed and hawed, then final called the manager over to approve it. When she paid, she left a 10% tip for the server ( I wanted to make sure she got some kind of tip. After all, it wasn't her fault!) the manager told my wife that a 15% was what was usually expected!!!! She handed the manager the 10% tip aseed that the manager personally hand the server the tip which he agreed to. Bozeman Trail Steakhouse *used* to be our favorite meal stop when traveling to visit my family in South Dakota. After this visit, we will no longer visit them again!!!
