Vegan peach crumble
Genevieve K.

On the corner of two streetlights so it makes it easy to find. There's plenty of parking on the side of the coffee shop. I was looking for a local coffee shop to support and Yelp suggested this one. Upon walking in you're pleasantly greeted by the staff and the counter and menu is hard to miss. My friend ordered an oat based milk drink and I got the spicy chai with oat milk also. The chai was okay, it tasted like the chair powder you buy at the grocery store and mix it with a liquor of your choice. I've had better tasting ones at other larger coffee shops. We also ordered two baked goods: coffee cake and Vegan peach crumble. I didn't try the coffee cake but my friend enjoyed it. As for the peach crumble...it tasted a little like cardboard, it was hard and no peach flavor. I had hoped to have a better experience here but maybe it was just my luck on a Friday afternoon. I would give Sagebrush Cafe a second chance but not anytime soon, I'm sorry.

Strawberry Matcha

Hands down my favorite coffee shop in the AV. When it's not insanely hot and windy outside, they have a great patio to work from. The inside is a bit small so if you plan on working from there keep that in mind. This time around I tried the Sage Fredo based a review I read on Yelp and it is now my favorite drink! I also grabbed a strawberry matcha for a friend and that was pretty good as well, definitely visually appealing if you're looking for an insta worthy drink If you are looking for a sweet treat, you have to try the home made pop tarts. The only con is the drink size. The cups are a bit small in comparison to the price but just think of it as saving on the calories!

Sagebrush will always and forever be my favorite coffee shop! They have an amazing selection of delicious coffees and unique seasonal offerings during the holidays. My all time favorite drink is the Earl Gray Mountain, which comes topped with homemade marshmallows. So delicious!! It's a seasonal item that I come back for time and time again. They also have homemade pastries and sandwiches for order. The coffee shop is rather small on the inside and can get busy during peak hours. They have limited parking and outdoor seating as well, but please don't let this deter you from stopping by. They have cute items and merch for sale, and they often display local art inside. I truly can't recommend this coffee shop enough if you're in the area!

Stopped by on Friday, 03/29/24 for the first time around noon time. Ordered the following to go: - 1 Cosmic Matcha (small, hot, almond milk - additional $0.70) = $6 - 1 Matcha Love Latte (small, hot, almond milk - additional $0.70) = $5.90 CC (credit card) fee = $0.25 TOTAL = $12.15 Sooooo good and not too sweet. I love the richness and authentic taste of the strong matcha. Minimal wait time and there were a couple of customers either studying/working. A great place to hang out and a true hidden gem. I also admire the bold exteriors (bright green color - my fav)!

Sad little avocado toast
Alis A.

Ordered the avocado toast and when it came out, it was not as I was expecting. For $5 they could use a fresh avocado or fresh tomato but instead they slather fake guac sauce and bruschetta from Trader Joe's on a tiny little toast which might as well have been a cracker. Won't be coming back

Strawberry pop tart and an iced chai

Very friendly staff and welcoming cafe. I love the boutique like feel of the indoor space and the delicious treat and iced chai. I appreciated that they asked if I wanted a spicy or sweet chai, I've never been asked that question. Made it seem they truly care about the drinks they're serving.

I had a pretty good experience at Sagebrush cafe. They have cute little knick knacks which can serve as cute unique gifts. I love their assortment of drinks and I got a white peppermint mocha with oat milk and it was delicious. Their green tea latte is very interesting and isnt exactly matcha flavored but more so vanilla but still delicious. There is currently no indoor seating but there is outdoor seating which was really nice. I would definitely come back again for more drinks

My drink ended up being too sweet so they were able to add a splash of milk which I thought was sweet (no pun intended). Cute atmosphere and kind staff! :)

Drinks

Gluten free sandwiches, yogurt, granola bars, drinks, The staff are very friendly and know their stuff. I it was not embarrassing at all and they told me all the different items I could have.! I got their breakfast sandwich They also offer panini bread! We need more places like this in the AV!

Great quality coffee and quick breakfast options, as well as a friendly staff. Perfect alternative if you prefer to not visit coffee chains.

We came here last Thursday night for their open-mic night to support a friend's band. I was totally surprised at what a great place this is. The venue only holds a few hundred people (I'm guessing). The stage is pretty small, but the feel of it is like an old high school auditorium. I don't know much about the history of the place, but I get a good vibe. Its a good place to see bands play, because its small, you can get up-close and personal with the band, but still have the acoustics of a big venue. It's calm,…read morecreative, and chill, making it the perfect space to learn and get lost in your drawing or painting. The studio is always clean and welcoming. Ms. Antoinette is a wonderful teacher. She is kind, encouraging, and really brings out each child's artistic side. She helps the kids feel confident and proud of their work. One of the best parts is the friendly poodles. If the dogs are around, they're super sweet and the kids love them. It adds a warm and playful touch to the whole experience. We also like that they allow food and drinks inside. It makes the space feel relaxed and comfortable, like a second home where kids can create freely. Overall, ARTuity is a fun and inspiring place where kids can express themselves through art. We highly recommend it.

The owner/teacher is so incredibly kind and she really creates a calming environment, when you step in the studio with the light piano music in the background it just gives you and I'm sure the kids just a great peaceful atmosphere. I really appreciate this place here in the AV. There are classes all week long and they have a website to check it out.
