We worked with Gabe, Martin, Leo and Leah (among others) to completely remake our backyard. We couldn't be happier with the result! Gabe and Martin walked through before the start of the project to ensure they understood how to translate the plans into reality. Sage and Stone also worked with us on options to reduce the overall scope and budget, for instance suggesting we could lower costs a bit by doing some of the demolition and prep work ourselves (which we did). The project started on schedule and the team reliably showed up every single day for the next ten weeks. We had them remove and create a new retaining wall with Techo-Blocs, relocate a freestanding structure onto new footings, install pavers under the structure, and install a new composite deck. The team also leveled out and rebuilt a small path in the yard, evening out a slope and creating a more graceful grade by installing large 4' black granite steps. Everything was edged using Colmet to keep the lines clean and they even installed a freestanding outlet in the yard to bring power to the seating area. There were minor adjustments along the way and the team showed great attention to detail. For instance, the freestanding structure posts required a skirt to conceal the post brackets. These were hand scribed onsite and featured backcut cedar with an elegant slope, cleanly mitrered and sealed joints, and most importantly, sealed undersides to protect them from water damage. Small details like aligning paver joints with the natural lines in the steps or landing, finding materials to patch up areas of the house that were newly exposed by the updated deck profile, and concealing electrical lines were most appreciated. When the inevitable issues arose, Martin walked us through the situation and we quickly reached a suitable outcome that he effectively managed. I can't stress enough how hard everyone worked and that effort consistently carried to the end of the day until they cleaned up the jobsite. Tools were neatly arranged and materials were moved into inconspicuous places before the crew left everyday. The yard looks fantastic and we love spending time out there. We had a fairly good experience working with them. They put in two stone patios for us and put in some plantings. Everything looked fine after the end of the project. However, less than a year after the completing the work the top patio stones started shifting. The last row of paver have almost completely tilted into the bed next to it. Despite, my contacting them several times and giving them the opportunity to respond and fix the problem they have chosen not to. I believe a good company takes responsibility for and pride in its work. The lack of follow up and response from them has been truly disappointing. read more

We had a terrific experience working with these guys and we definitely recommend them. We worked primarily with Gabe who led us through the design process of our new backyard patio and front steps replacement projects. The design process was easy and fun. We worked closely with Gabe on some design concepts and he was more than willing to let us call the shots and suggest ideas at will. Some worked and some didn't but what mattered is that we felt part of the process. And what we ended up with was exactly what we wanted in the time that they said they would get the work done within the cost estimate we were given. The bottom line is that we are thrilled with how everything turned out. But beyond just great work we found that Gabe was on top of this project from the very first phone call. And as it turned out this is really what set Sage and Stone apart from other firms that we spoke to. We never had to wonder if we were going to get a phone call back or a reply to our email because we always did without fail. This was a big deal for us since we had had the opposite experience prior to finding S&S. I was really impressed when Travis came out to look at the property and assess what I wanted done. I wanted to make my yard more kid friendly, but with an artistic touch. I spent probably 30 minutes going over with Travis what I was looking for. All that went good and I left feeling like they were going to be the company to nail what I needed. Things went downhill from there. It took a while to get the sketches, but Travis apologized for that as I believe he had been out of town. The initial sketch was very off from what I had discussed I wanted in that particular area. It took about a week for a reply, in which he explained he had taken away something different from our conversation (which is fine, although I felt I was extremely specific). I figured I would continue on, so I found the paver's I wanted for my driveway and asked for a quote. The quote was about $2,000 higher than a competitors, but when I asked if he could match it, he did. Here is the part that made me decide not to go with them. 1. He asked me to go measure the driveway for the bid. It's a $10,000 + driveway job and I have never had a contractor ask me to go do the measurements for their bid. If it was a flower bed or something, I could maybe see that, but this is an 850 sq/ft driveway. My takeaway from that was that either Travis was too busy or not interested in the project enough to take 20 minutes to come and measure the driveway and give a little bit of customer service. Very unprofessional. Who knows if the other guy got it wrong? 2. He asked for the other landscapers bid, which was obviously fine, so he knew I wasn't making up I got a better price. He used the other contractors measurements of the driveway to make his bid. Again, take the time and come measure it yourself, with the face to face time you have with the client you might just land the job. 3. Travis is not very fast or responsive on getting back to me. My assumption is that it being the summer they are busy. Which is fine. Just say I'm too busy and don't waste my time taking forever. The work they do might be good, I don't know. But the service up front was not very reassuring with the three points I outlined above. And I see I am the only one not mentioning this problem. I suggest they work on being more prompt with potential customers, and take the time to come out for a new bid. Furthermore, I planned on spending a good amount of money on making the whole yard quite unique. If I was in their shoes I'd reassess how much work they can take on, and not take on more than they can handle. I'd also ask how much a client's budget is, to assess if its something they want to go after hard. Otherwise they will keep getting reviews like this. I was hoping they would be responsive and aggressive about the job, guess they must be making a lot of money elsewhere. read more

I purchased my house in 2006 and always told my visitors and friends that I was going put in a patio in my little front yard as one of my first projects. Lo and behold after 6 years I still didn't put one in and finally swallowed my pride to hire someone to do it for me. I scoured the Craig's List for a cheap alternative but with the glut of listings I couldn't choose - I wanted someone who was good, reasonably affordable, insured, etc. Yelp proved to be the answer: I found Sage and Stone after reading the raving reviews. I contacted Travis and he came to my house to survey and estimate the work. (He's a stand-up guy and nice to deal with.) I pulled the trigger as soon as I got the estimate and we scheduled to meet at stone yard to pick out pavers. The work was completed in 2 days. Literally, it was that easy! My best friend had Gabe create an amazing luxe backyard for her and highly recommended him. She literally said "I 100% recommend him. Sweetest guy and so easy to work with." So this is actually two reviews in one. Gabe has been very prompt in returning my calls in the few times he didn't answer the phone in the first place. He met me at my house to do an initial consultation and had some great recommendations for my project. He has been too busy to do any design work the last few weeks but we are starting a construction project and needed some help with moving plants. Gabe quickly responded to my last minute pleas for help and sent Jimmy to move my plants. Jimmy was awesome. He gave me a ton of information about my plants, how to care for them and what to expect after transplant. I fully plan to use Gabe for design/implementation once the construction is complete. Since we recently had the bad luck of having some wasted teenagers crash their car into my backyard and flee the scene on foot, we were obviously in need of some TLC to nurse it back to health. Half of the wooden fence was knocked down, rockery damaged, plants killed, glass and debris everywhere...you get the picture. I did several searches on Yelp for some guidance on who to hire, and these guys came up again and again, so we gave them a call. We called one day, Gabe came out the next, and by the same evening he had already sent us a quote, so they were hired! A couple of days later the crew showed up and started doing their thing. I've never seen guys work so fast and take so much pride in the work they do. With these guys you're not just hiring some contractors...you're hiring professionals who do craftsman work. Just completed a project with Sage and Stone. They fixed up our two side decks and front entry way, which was falling apart. Our front stairs look beautiful & our family loves spending time on the new decks. Gabe was wonderful to work with. He was very patient and answered all our questions, even if we kept asking the same ones. He would always give us different options, but also advise us when we were having a hard time making a decision. The crew members onsite were always great. James was the project manager, and our main point of contact onsite. He was very accommodating and made sure I could get in and out of the house when needed. He was also great about answering any questions I had about the project. They were also great about wearing masks when we talked in person and offering phone or web chats if needed. We hired Sage and Stone and worked with Travis to re-do our back yard. We had an ugly little townhouse yard on a slight slope where the builders threw in some random bushes, a tree, bark and a tiny little wood deck. We wanted something where we could put out a full patio set, a grill, grass for the dog and a small potting shed - a lot for a small space. We also needed a French drain for water log issues at the fence line. After getting a design drawn up we took about a year to save money and ended up going with something simpler than our original design (which included an arbor that we decided not to do). Travis came out several times to discuss our ideas and map out a new, scaled back plan. We decided to split the yard into two sections with a stone retaining wall in the middle, a raised section with sod (keeping our existing tree) and a flag stone patio on the lower half. The potting shed would be on one side of the yard and the grill on the opposite side. They estimated the job would take about 1 week. Well, after one week we have a new back yard. We keep looking at it and can't believe it's ours. Travis and his crew gave us exactly what we wanted. The stone wall and flagstone patio are beautiful and we have stepping stones leading up to the spot where we're going to have a custom potting shed built. The patio set gets delivered tomorrow and we're shopping the 4th of July sales for a grill! Not only are we pleased with the result, but the yard was finished on time and on budget, they cleaned up afterwards so it looks really clean, and they gave my neighbor a Lowe's gift card to replace any plants that may have been damaged on the path they had to use to gain access to the yard (which was really nice considering there wasn't really any damage). Travis also told me that I can call them if any of the patio stones become loose or the sod doesn't root properly and they'll fix it right away. If we do any future work on the yard (may add some privacy features at some point) I would call Sage and Stone without hesitation. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a landscaper. My wife and I have used Sage and stone for two landscape projects over the last two years and are now entertaining a third project. We keep using them because they have a great design eye that helps us take our initial ideas and enhances them to something beautiful and functional. We've mainly worked with Travis and he has always been very communicative throughout every step of the project, something I can't say about all my other home contractors. They have also been very flexible to work with me to let me take on some of the work stages to help reduce cost. I found their bids clear to understand and fairly priced, maybe not always the cheapest options but they value purchasing products from local businesses vs. big box stores and eco-friendly options when possible. The Sage and Stone crew just finished a complete overhaul of our back yard, turning it from a paved basketball court into a beautifully landscaped oasis. We initially contacted Sage and Stone via their web site and got a quick reply from Gabe, who was our main point of contact from beginning to end. We got 3-4 bids but I knew immediately we would chose this company unless the bid was just outrageous (it wasn't) because we really liked Gabe's manner and immediately trusted him. Finalizing the design took a few iterations, but once we settled on what we wanted and could afford, the work was very efficient. I like that they work on one project at a time to minimize the amount of time your yard will be a mess. Gabe allows the customer to be as involved in the process as you wish to be. I preferred to send him photo galleries of plants and stones and decks that I liked, so he could get a sense of our style, then he took it from there. I didn't want to run all over town choosing stones and landscape lights, so I didn't have to, and I'm very pleased with the end result! The company is very transparent about costs and we had several budget check-ins along the way to ensure there were no surprises. My wife and I had a small (~1000+ sq ft) front yard that needed a major overhaul. We had a pretty clear idea of what we wanted- a paver patio and walkway with specific dimensions and layout pattern, a retaining wall, a cedar fence, new grass, etc. So, last September I called 3 companies (including Sage and Stone) to get bids. I contacted S&S via email and got a prompt reply with specific dates of when someone could come out and give me a bid. I ended up meeting with Travis (one of the co-owners I believe). He walked around the yard with me as I explained what I was looking for, taking notes and asking great questions. Their quote was comparable to the other companies that came out but all of the great reviews on Yelp sealed the deal. We set a start date of about 1 month down the road, made an up-front deposit and that was that. The project took about 2 1/2 weeks from start to finish. While we're very pleased with the end result, it would be dishonest to say there weren't any hiccups along the way. I believe most of these were due to miscommunication about things I had expressed to Travis early on in the scoping phase that, either, never got transmitted to the Gabe (who ended up overseeing the work) or were accidentally overlooked. If you've ever been involved in any type of major renovation, this sort of thing is pretty common. Fortunately, Gabe and I were able to work through most of the issues in a professional and fairly fluid manner. Would I recommend S&S? Absolutely. 100%. They do great work and are easy to work with. My advice to you is the same I'd give when working with any contractor: make sure you and your contractor have reviewed all of the major AND minor points about the project- in person and on paper- before anything begins. It will ensure all parties are on the same page and will minimize the inevitable stress load that comes when doling out large sums of money. read more

My partner and I found Gabe & Travis' company, Sage & Stone, on Yelp. We scheduled a first meeting with Gabe to walk through our yard and to share our thoughts with him. One of the more impressive qualities he demonstrated is that he listens, he hears what you say. The end result in our new backyard truly picked up of the various threads of what we discussed and somehow brought these into his final design.Having a clear idea as a couple also helped, plus having lots of different pictures made our first conversation easier. Later one, Gabe also supplied lots of pictures for us to comment on, which we did, liberally. We had interviewed several landscapers, and we decided to go with Gabe simply because we liked hislaid backattitude, as well as his passion about the designs we were hoping for. Hiring him to come up with 3 designs also helped solidify want we wanted from our small backyard. Somehow seeing the various possibilities helped us throw out competing ideas and settle on the vision that excited us the most. Gabe is very knowledgeable about stone and plants, especially those from Pacific Northwest. Not only did he choose edible options for our yard, but also helped to ensure we had some color year round. He also recommended better plant choices for the side of our house which gets no direct light. The builder of the house put plants that withered there. Now, the new plants have already transformed that side of the house, and once they fill in some, they will add to the overall aesthetics. We found the process incredibly interesting with lots to think about. And going out to visit the stone yard to get a sense of the stone choices was an excellent field trip. Such a project definitely required lots of communication, between us as a couple, and as a couple with Gabe, discussing different options, sharing concerns, asking questions. It was though for us at first, because one of us was not physically in Seattle at that time. However, smartphones and 3 way conference calls helped to overcome the distance, and after a few emails and phone calls, it really became a fun project. And the guys who made up his work team were cool to talk to, as well as conscientious of our neighbors and professional.The physical work took them around 3 weeks, which flew by. We are extremely happy with the results, which are unique to us and our home. We were worried that our yard might look like a poor imitation of what we saw in landscaping pictures, which is probably what would have happened if we attempted the redesign ourselves. Instead, we have a personalized treasure, built from Sage and Stone's interpretation of our words and vision. Gabe also provides good customer's service. During the project, we pointed out to Gabe things we did not like (The stone bridge did not blend well in the yard, one patio stone wasn't intalled nicely). Gabe and his crew took care of the problems quickly with no extra charge. Addiotionally, one of our black bamboo looks dying and Gabe offered to replace it if the plant does not survive over the winter. Highly recommended. We are very happy we had Sage and Stone perform a design/build for our front, back and side yards. The project included 2 decks, a covered patio extension, hardscapes, fencing, irrigation, plants, sod, lighting, 240 volt hot tub wiring, a water feature and a gas fire pit. The project started in early February and completed in late March 2017. We are very happy with the results. Below are some thoughts about working with the Sage and Stone team: DESIGN: Gabe Shulman is a very talented designer and owner. He took our list of desires, combined it with his vision and experience and in doing so, created a wonderful product for us. BUDGET: Gabe was very open and flexible throughout the setting of the budget. After the project started and cost issues arose, Gabe was fair and reasonable. At the completion of the project, we were only 3 percent over budget and that was due to our own upgrades or additions. CONSTRUCTION/ONSITE TEAM: This crew was phenomenal. Leah selected some great plants. Alex did a great job supervising the talented skills of James, Bobby and Alison. This team had worked for the Company for years, it showed in how effectively and efficiently they performed their roles. I also want mention the great job Jimmy did in designing the irrigation system, explaining its operation and finally getting the water feature to operate correctly. POST CONSTRUCTION/FOLLOW UP: This is where the company has proven their commitment to quality customer service. Any large construction project is going to have minor issues surface after the construction/onsite team has departed. Gabe and his team were able to get those issues resolved quickly and efficiently. We would certainly use Sage and Stone again. read more

Awful. We got as far as finalizing the outline for a patio in paint in our yard. Travis telling us that what we had would work within the price quoted. I ask for a drawing of the plan to be attached to the contract so we have peace of mind. He says no problem I'll have it in a few days. 5 days later he actually plans to come out and look at it again. Doesn't show. A week later he finally does, then tells us that he never even verified that the measurements of the outline he drew and said would work in the price he quoted. Measures and tells us it will be an additional $900 to get what we were planning on the whole time. A few days before we're supposed to start. Bad / dishonest communication. I'm also not sure where all the good reviews are coming from...I didn't have a great experience here. I'm only giving them 3 stars because they refunded my deposit for the work after producing a design that was just not at all what I wanted. I sent them 11 pictures of what I wanted, which was mostly evergreen trees with some green shrubs- it's kind of a minimalist look, all evergreen, no flowers. Not exactly rocket science. The design I got (for which I paid $300) didn't include a single evergreen tree (Gabe explained to me that I already had a cedar tree in my yard (?)), and included deciduous trees and bushes and flowering shrubs. Just not at all what I wanted. I tried explaining this to Gabe, but he insisted that his design looked like the pictures. Since I actually want my backyard to look like those pictures, and Gabe's design doesn't look anything like that, and he INSISTED that it did, I didn't really have any choice but to just walk away from the whole thing. My advice to anyone considering working with this company: do not give them money before work is done. Gabe just seemed so nice and trustworthy at first. He asked for $300 up front for the design and a $500 deposit for the work. Dealing with him ended up being a huge hassle. Also, look carefully at the positive reviews here- they read more like advertisements than reviews, and some of the reviewers have only reviewed a few business. Just sayin. read more

Really impressed with Sage & Stone. We hired them for an extensive remodel of our landscaping around our house and also to build a gazebo/outdoor bbq area. They were not the cheapest but we wanted to hire a quality company who would do good work. We were very impressed with the outcome. Landscaping looks great. Gazebo and BBQ area turned out great. Only one issue was the lawn. It's in a shaded area that gets a lot of water and a few years later, it looked like a mud pit. I contacted Gabe, he came to look at it and offered to fix it on their dime. We paid for some french drains to be installed but they did all the soil, sod and labor on their dime. Now that's a reputable landscaping firm! We're glad we paid a bit extra to go with Sage & Stone. read more

I hired Travis to fix my lawn, which was waterlogged due to being downhill from a rock retaining wall. I asked several contractors to bid on solutions, which ranged from a $3000 "build a French drain under the retaining wall, then pipe the resulting runoff across the lawn, under your raised beds, and into your drainpipe" to a simpler $1500 "build a French drain under the retaining wall and run it off to the side yard". Travis' solution, coming in at $1675, did not involve a French drain per se; he suggested turning the existing gravel path into a drain by deepening it and installing weep holes in the wall at the end of it. I don't yet know if this solution will work (and won't until it rains) but will post a followup. However, I'm very impressed with his crew, who were extremely hard working, cleaned up beautifully, and did a fantastic job in just over a day from start to finish. I definitely recommend them. Followup, several months later, late spring: Travis' solution has significantly improved drainage, though it has not cured the waterlogging completely. In retrospect I think they should also have tilled more sand into the soggy soil. I think this was a good fix for the price, but still was probably less successful than the more expensive option. We have had the great pleasure of working with Sage & Stone on our backyard remodel. Everyone from the owner (Gabe), our onsite project manager and all-around expert (James), their sprinkler expert (Jimmy) and their electrician (Gary) were knowledgable and pleasant to with which to work. They found solutions and offered affordable solutions to the overages necessary (not thought out in the architect's design) as well as drafting deck and bench plans and offering suggestions to meet our design needs. I worked with Gabe and he did a great job start to finish. What I loved most was how easy he was to work with. He arrived at meetings promptly, returned phone calls right away, was easy to talk to, got things done when he said he would, and finished on budget. We had a small patio and gravel base for a playset put in. I didn't know much about patios, and Gabe was very knowledgeable about pros and cons of different types. He helped us choose pavers that look great. He also managed to squeeze us into his schedule and get the work done within about 2 weeks from our initial contact. He initially built the outline of the playset slightly different than I had wanted, but quickly fixed it when I brought up the issue. He also made a small modification to the wall on our patio for no additional charge. His workers were quiet, hardworking, and very nice to my 2 year old son (who was fascinated by the whole project). The only thing I wasn't completely satisfied with was that they chose to use a gravel "flinging" truck to fill our playset base and it ended up leaving a lot of gravel scattered throughout our grass. Gabe said the gravel will disappear into the grass after a few good rains, so hopefully that's true. All in all, I'd highly recommend Sage and Stone. read more

Really a 4 1/2 but, you know, Yelp... We had an old rotting deck that we needed torn down and wanted a new flag stone patio put in it's place. We received multiple quotes, and while not the cheapest, Sage & Stone hit the sweet spot of having a good vision, good customer service, and an affordable price! All the work, as far as timing goes, went as expected. The workers were friendly and the project manager was always willing to listen to any concerns or revisions my wife or I came up. Additionally, a few minor changes were made mid-process with no hassle. It can be difficult to envision how something will look until the tare down has happened - everyone involved was understanding of this and ensured that the finished product was something we'd be happy with. read more

They were very willing to work to our budget and even suggested ways we could reduce the price by doing some of the site preparation ourselves - not many company's do that. We hired Sage and Stone to do some small scale brickwork for our community in Capitol Hill. From the moment we contacted them, they were the company for us. I dealt with Travis, and he came on time for the bid. We spent a good amount of time discussing our various options, and he was kind enough to give us a bid for all the projects we discussed, knowing we would only choose a partial list. The contracting was easy, and the work was scheduled within a reasonable time frame. Travis began work on a Wednesday, and was clean, professional, and good natured throughout his work. He had wonderful ideas on how to maximize and best use our space; allowing me to trust his vision completely and found myself saying, "Well, I trust you will make it look good." I sincerely meant it. The completed brickwork and animal proofing looks 1000 times better than I though it could, and his reasonable prices and deep pride in his work make me eager to recommend him. The bottom line- easy to communicate with, beautiful work that makes me wish I could have let his creativity flow more, reasonable prices, and he left the area cleaner than he found it. I hired Sage and Stone to do some landscape work (planting/replanting) and continuing maintenance. Jimmy, the manager of maintenance/landscaping, is great to work with. He's very knowledgeable about plants (to a degree that is beyond simple yard maintenance), and he's very prompt at returning emails. I'm not always sure the specifics of what I want--sometimes I just have general feeling or vision in mind. Jimmy is great at listening and offering suggestions and ideas. read more

We highly recommend Sage and Stone for the high quality design and execution of our landscaping project, and the responsiveness and easy engagement throughout the process. We worked with Gabe from Sage and Stone to complete a makeover of our backyard. Prior to the project, our backyard was a boring expanse of grass, somewhat infiltrated by weeds and bare patches. We explained to Gabe that we wanted to replace the grass with a more interesting backyard. We also told Gabe that we had a hard deadline for completing the project in time for our annual Memorial Day party. After a long face-to-face discussion of our likes and dislikes and a number of email exchanges that included photos, Gabe brought us 3 different concept sketches to review. Each sketch was fresh and different; we found something we liked in each one. With a little work, we came up with a final design that incorporated aspects from all three. We then met to discuss the cost for our final design. Gabe provided us with a detailed breakdown of the costs that was easy to understand. Unfortunately, it exceeded our budget, so we had to work with him to scope down the project. Working with Gabe and making some hard cuts, we were able to come to a design that we were happy with AND was within our budget. In addition, the design allows us to add the additional features in a later phase without rework. The final design included the following: Pulling up the old lawn and some plants Pulling up flagstones and border stones Conditioning the soil including bringing in significant amounts of new soil Pulling up the old patio pavers and relaying them in a new location in our back yard Putting in new gas lines for our gas grill and a future outdoor gas-fireplace Putting in a new bluestone patio with steps Putting in 3 new wood gates Putting in a 2 zone automatic drip watering system Putting in 3 raised vegetable beds Putting in 3 fruit trees, blueberries, strawberries, lingonberries, raspberries, huckleberries, kiwis, sage (ground cover), an herb garden, and other plants for a balanced look. By the time we had reached this point, we were starting to get pressed for time. They scheduled the project for two weeks due to finish on the Friday before the party. Gabe and the crew of Sage and Stone got started on schedule. Everyday we saw visible progress. On the Friday before the party, Gabe was out putting in the final touches. Everything was in place and beautiful for our guests. Two weeks later, they came out one more time to do some touch up work (reset one of the irrigation zones, re-hang one of the gates, add a trim board). In addition, Gabe provided us with information on how to care for our new edible gardens. We couldn't be more pleased with Sage and Stone. They came in on-time, and they were over the estimated budget by less than 1%. We are looking forward to engaging them again to complete the parts of the project that we cut in our original scoping exercise. read more

Jimmy is a wonderful professional designer and continues to support me in all my gardening decisions and issues. When the valve on my irrigation timer stopped working, he committed to fix the leak, replace the timer and ensure the entire system was functioning perfectly. We recently used Sage and Stone for a landscape project in our front yard. It was basically a scraggly sloping lawn beforehand, so clean slate. Since we really had no idea what we wanted, Gabe did a great job talking to us about our needs and visual taste, drawing up a number of possibilities, and refining the plans to create a wonderful blend of form and function. Sage and Stone just finished making a gravel and flagstone pathway for me in the front and side yard to the back patio. I could not be more pleased with the design and quality installation. Jimmy was excellent to work with, very responsive to any concerns I had and helped me make the right decisions as to a top coating of river rock over the crushed gravel to give it a more finished look and curb appeal. The flagstone he recommended is beautiful and blends in perfectly with my brick sidewalk and courtyard. The end result beats my expectations in aesthetic look, quality durable installation and cost.
