We had Kevin's Yard Work come by to clean up both our front yard and back. We just had a baby and unfortunately it's been too difficult to go out in the back and weed or mow. The team came by and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up both yards and pulled all of the weeds. We have a lot of intermingled plants that I ordered special and he already knew which plants to leave! I was very impressed with his knowledge of plants. If you need an actual gardener and not just someone with landscaping tools, this is the team for you. I had a nightmare yard. I reached out to a few landscapers in Yelp and Kevin responded quickly and efficiently. He came by the next day for an estimate, and the estimate was within reason. He was up front about the costs and labor, as well as what materials I would need to get. He and his crew showed up, did an excellent job and VERY quick too! We needed to get our entire property ready to sell our house within two weeks. The gardens were full of weeds, paths needed to be filled with gravel and were full of weeds (just a mess), as we hadn't properly kept up with it all since we had two little kiddos. Over a hundred feet of cypress also needed to be trimmed, including various bushes around our property, as well as a large entertaining pit which was all weeds. Edging, trimming, mowing, everything you could want, then mulch was also to be put down everywhere. They stopped by a few times to go over the work to make sure it was everything we needed and to quote it properly. We scheduled for exactly when we needed the work done before listing photos :D Over the course of a few days they chipped away at it all, and on the final days the work was all done before 12PM. It was all excellent and for a great price! Highly recommend and we will be using them for our new pain-in-the-butt yard at our rental. read more

I contacted Kevin after looking up reviews on yelp. I got a quick response and the next weekend a person came, checked the job, gave us a quote on the spot. We booked an appointment for next week. We have a townhome, so there is no yard but landscape in the front back and sides. We needed weeding, help removing a tree and planting a new plant. The job was well done. The crew cleaned up after the job which was good to see. However the weeds came back in 3 weeks which was annoying- which is why I am giving 3 stars. I was hoping after the treatment I wouldn't have to worry for at least 6 months. They also did not trim some of the bushes. But when I told post the job, they said they offered to come back next week for that. I ended up saying no and trimmed them myself. read more

This was a tough review. I'm not sure if I'm the bad guy or if this business is in the wrong. When the man came to give an estimate, he went all around the front and back yards with me and agreed to each thing I said I wanted done. He then said an amount that I agreed on, and said for me to send the deposit. He wrote a simple contract that basically said "trim" and "clean up." We had agreed on a winter clean up, I had pointed out all the pine branches and pine cones/pine needles that I wanted raked up, the flower beds that needed weeding, a rock wall that had ivy growing over the front that I wanted cut back to the rocks, and in the back yard we had a large Japanese plum tree we had cut down that we needed the branches hauled away then cleaned up after so we would be able to mow the lawn. The back yard had leaves and general winter debris that I asked to have cleaned up. We also asked for the apple trees to be trimmed so they didn't hang over the neighbors side of the fence. We agreed on Wednesday April 3, and after he left I sent the deposit. Today Tuesday April 2 a crew of 3 show up with no notice and begin work after 10 am. We have a Ring doorbell so we can see when they arrived and what they did, and when they left. There were two elderly people and one younger man. After less than an hour work they took a break and had a hot pot on our porch for nearly 45 minutes, and later one man took a nap on our porch while the woman did the heavy work in the front yard. They left by 1245pm according to the Ring doorbell. I arrived home at 130pm and was upset to see that they really only did the big items. The ivy was trimmed but it is a hack job. There is still pine cones and pine needles covering the yard that were not raked at all. The flower beds were not weeded. In the back the apple trees were topped but still hang over the fence. The large tree debris was hauled out. The flower bed was not weeded. The yard was not raked and parts of small branches are all over the yard. I guess it is my fault for not making sure that they provided me with a detailed contract stating each item but I have never contacted with a yard company before and incorrectly assumed they would do what I asked. This afternoon at 430pm someone texted me and asked how it looked. I sent pictures and said it was unfinished and not to satisfaction. 2 hours later the same man that did the estimate showed up on my porch unannounced, didn't ring the bell, call, or text. Just stood there. My husband went out to talk to him and when he asked me to come out I started to point out all the things that weren't finished. He kept saying that I didn't mention any of those things. My husband didn't want confrontation, he wasn't there when I got the quote, and so he took him around and showed him the work and told him it was good enough. End result, I am going to pay them now but first I wanted to come here and let it all out. I would not recommend them. I did give two stars because they did the big items I asked for. read more

Kevin and his team helped me with some maintenance work on my front yard. I needed a tree trimmed away from the house, deweeding / general cleanup, and new mulch to be laid. Kevin gave me a really prompt response after I reached out for an estimate, and was able to come out only a few days after. Estimate was done on Monday, and he came out on Thursday to complete the work. I really appreciated the fast turn around. I also liked that he was honest about which of my shrubs/hedges needed maintenance and which were too young, or not grown enough to warrant it. He was so easy to work with. My yard now looks great! No show on scheduled date! Unprofessional! I want to do some landscape project before selling my house, scheduled an onsite estimate for yesterday. After waiting for two hours, nobody showed up. I texted him on yelp to ask but no response back until several hours later. The explanation was that he came and found some crew working at my property so thought the job was taken care of and just left.
