This year we used Le's landscaping service for the second time. We had them come out and help us convert the area of our backyard with grass to pavers. You get what you absolutely need from any contractor with Le's landscaping - honesty, reliability & communication. Added to that is competitive pricing. Year 1, we got the proverbial 3 bids and Le's landscaping was very competitive, honestly it was more mid-point rather than lowest but that was promising to start with. In our initial conversation, Kendall talked about the pros and cons of the approach we had in ind for our yard even though it meant less $$$ for them. I really appreciate that kind of looking-out-for-your-customer. That already helped with building trust. During the course of the project, depending on how things go, he would gave us "conservative" timeframes for when the crew would be back and they would almost always show up earlier. Kendall always make sure to check in with us first and I am always appreciative of that. They also helped with building a fenced-in vegetable garden that helps keeps the critters out - we love that project and it has lived up to expectations and no pesky bunny has gotten through. After our project was complete, I had recommended them to one of our neighbors who used them for a big project in their backyard as well and are extremely happy with their work. Our 2nd year project was to add more pavers to our backyard which required them to get rid of a bunch of plants and work around some tricky areas. I didn't even bother with getting bids, Le's landscaping was my only choice. They have done such an awesome job of working around our drains, extending the pavers from last year to have a seamless new pattern come to life. They are a bunch of hard working folks with a great attention to detail which I appreciate very very much. We worked with Le about a year ago to do an overhaul of our front & back yard that was very overgrown with blackberries and old shrubs, a nightmare to keep up with. We had a general idea of what we wanted done, but Le was great at suggesting changes to work best for our landscape and worked with materials we already had on the property. Mr Le responded promptly to my email, came out soon after to give me an estimate on trimming my laurel hedge, and had 2 men out to do the job the next day. He came out at the start of work as well and we discussed the height. He hung a cord at that height and tied it at either end of the hedge so they could trim using it. We needed a short retaining wall for our two tiered backyard, leveling and new topsoil on the top tier, a patio created for the lower tier and some drainage issues addressed. Le came out and gave us a quote on the spot, and helped us think about what we could change to get the quote within our budget (we went with less patio). We got estimates from three others, and Le said he would match them if he could. In the end he gave us the best deal, so we went with him. Le was extremely communicative the whole way telling us when he and his team would be working and keeping us updated on their progress. They ended up making our patio a little bigger than we agreed on for no charge, and the whole thing looks even better than we expected. I hired Le Landscape & Yard Work to clear the overgrown blackberry thicket growing into my yard from all sides, extend my walkway, and fix some shoddy work another contractor did on my fence. Quote process: Mr. Le responded within a day of my quote request, although we had to schedule the quote for about 2 weeks later. Come to find out it's because Mr. Le comes with his crew to do the work! The other great thing about the estimate was that Mr. Le was straightforward about how much things would cost and never tried to upsell services. He even offered suggestions for cost-effective alternatives I could do myself to fix up the driveway area. The Work: Mr. Le and his crew did an exceptional job, going above and beyond what I expected. All of their work was tidy and thorough, plus they work FAST. When Mr. Le came out to quote the job he indicated they could start work within 2 weeks; it has only been 1.5 weeks since then and everything is already done. Not only were my ~1000 sq. ft. worth of blackberry bushes cut down, all of the roots were pulled out where feasible. My fence gates are now secure, work like a charm and they look great. Mr. Cuong the owner showed up right on time to gave the quote with tips and ideas. After agreeing on the deal his team started on this 3 days project 2 weeks right after. I layed out the ideas and picked the paver materials for the project from the Mutual Material catalog that was provided by him. They showed up on time with a team of 4 peoples, and worked hard 10 hours long none stop. All of his workers and himself were friendly and always cleaned up my drive way after each day. 3 days later the project was completed and im very happy and satisfied with the work. I asked Mr. Le to come out and give me a quote on some pretty extensive yard remodeling (500 sqft paver patio, complete re-grading of the lawn, overseeding, and french drains). The cost he quoted me was comparable to two other landscapers I requested bids from - except the other two landscapers didn't include the lawn re-grade or french drains. I got way more bang for my buck from Mr. Le. At the end of the project, he came in on-budget, and I'm extremely pleased with my yard. My new paver patio looks amazing - it's truly a bright spot on my property. My yard is now useable, weed-free, water doesn't pool in low spots, and I don't have to worry about water intrusion into my basement.
