Not a huge movie selection but plays all the major films out at the time. I would suggest arriving early as the line for concessions takes a little bit. For parking I would park in the lot behind all the shops across the street. Do not pay for parking until 3 hours after you park. I payed thinking I had to pay for 3 hours but then it started charging me hour by hour and I kept having to leave the movie because there is no cell service in the theater!

The reason is, if you're a movie lover and you like to watch your movie on a big screen with great sound, you're not going to get that here. Sure you may get the big screen, but there are three or four cinemas in this small, old (and yes, charming) building yet somehow nobody made sure that each one is sound proof. So during your movie you'll be hearing the soundtrack to another. The rude manager doesn't even apologize for it. He just says "it's a 1940's movie house. What do you want ?" "Ummm. 1940's movie ticket prices ?" Look as I said to him, that's fine but you should give people the choice when they're paying top dollar ticket prices. You should at least let them know that this is what they're going to be getting. I def see romance and charm in an old 40's theatre. But soundproofing is essential. I'm not even sure if movie companies like the #WeinsteinCompany or #Disney #Fox or any of them would even let their movies be shown here if they knew what the botched sound system is like. Anyhow, your choice. At least now you know before you hand over your hard-earned money.

If you are looking for a wider variety of movies, than I would honestly just recommend going to Mattituck Cinemas 20 minutes West. But if you can deal with a stymied movie selection, than I recommend The superior quality in Greenport. The prices are reasonable, and the there is never a line to buy tickets, nor are the theaters ever filled (I've been to more than one movie without anyone else in the theater). Apparently the theater was recently bought by a millionaire, which means that this hidden gem on the north fork is safe for quite a while.

I hate big theaters that seat close to 100 people. They have done some renovations. They now have the reclining leather seats and they have a tray for food that swings in front of you and it has a cup holder in it. The recline on the seats is perfect and they are so comfortable. The seats and theater is also very clean. The worker who we bought our tickets and concessions from was also very helpful. She pointed us towards a drink and popcorn combo that ended saving us money and getting us more popcorn and drink! I literally don't want to go to another theater besides this one - not interested! I do not live in the area, but I am more than willing to make the drive to experience this theater again!

It is so wonderful that Rhode Island still has some local cinemas, especially after the recent closure of Aquidneck Island's Island Cinemas, a perennial favorite night out locale. The All South County is in the same vein- friendly, neighborhood oriented service, comfy seats, and clean theaters. You gotta love supporting local, especially when choosing how to spend your precious nights out! The staff is what really makes this place special, though. Comprised mostly of URI students, they are friendly and eager to assist, answer questions, or offer recommendations for everything from popcorn mix ins to the movies themselves. That is really what will keep me coming back and recommending this special spot to everyone!

There's both new and used books, and they have a special section on Hamptons-specific topics. They also carry a few local goodies, like soaps and postcards. I highly recommend this bookstore if you're up for a new book without any specific one in mind--you'll never know what you will find here! And ask the storekeeper to get some great recs.

I have since heard the heat had been not worked since early fall and throughout the winter. I didn't want to write this review on yelp because I love the theater and I understand they're a nonprofit and might be struggling. I wrote a letter detailing the experience and never got an answer. I copied two of the of the people on the contact list of the theater. Does anyone know if this has been fixed and if the heat is part of a HVAC system would that mean there will also be no air conditioning in the heat of the summer. Does anyone know what the problem is?

The movie time was 12:00. I timed it- there were 15 minutes of commercials, followed by 15 minutes of previews. The movie did not start until 12:30. As we had plans immediately afterwards, this caused us a lot of stress and aggravation and took away from the enjoyment of the movie. I'm used to a total of 15 minutes, not 30 minutes of pre-movie nothingness. 3. 2 medium sodas and 1 medium popcorn = $30. Enough said.
