We have been part of many local dance studios. What sets this studio apart is the owner, the award winning teachers and the individualized attention. You just don't have that at regular dance studios. Classes are very active and engaging. Your child isn't waiting for their turn in a class of 20 kids. It's excellent exercise! They are properly trained in stretching and core strengthening before they dance. Irish dance is intense in a fun way! Lots of skipping, hopping, jumping moves that kids love! There's NO PRESSURE. This school has won National titles with their competitive team. Joining the competition team is optional. Encouraged, and no pressure. There is also a performance team, which does not compete but rather dances at local events, nursing homes, schools and charitable events. The best part are the RECITALS. You will never experience recitals like this. Winter showcase in a theater setting, Spring showcase includes brunch at a catering facility. SPOILER: they blind fold you at one point and slide you laterally on some sort of conveyance that really does disorient you, and is thrilling. it is something i haven't experience before in a haunted house and i go to a lot of them. so it was a new idea. they also make you crawl through a van which is pretty scary as a setting, and they had a guy with a giant baby head, which i have seen before, but not ever quite so effectively. it's a trek from nyc, but i would do it again

I brought my niece and nephew, and we easily had one of the funnest afternoons! The Barnyard Adventure is a paid area ($28.95 per person on weekends), but with eight acres packed full of things to do, it's worth every penny. To put the size in perspective ... it's like exploring six football fields lined up together! The highlights for the kids included getting up close with a variety of farm animals, a trike track, sports zone, and multiple playgrounds, pig races, a musical hayride ... there truly is something for all ages. The atmosphere is lively, especially with those pig races and musical hayride tours. My niece and nephew were totally engaged from start to finish. There are plenty of food stands throughout the property with the classic farm favorites. Apple cider donuts (my personal fav), popcorn, ice cream, and coffee stands for the grown-ups. Speaking of adults, a huge bonus is the vineyard right on the property. I treated myself to a glass of rosé to enjoy while the kids played, which was a nice addition. It does get busy, but the whole setup is well organized that it does not feel too crowded. Barnyard Adventure is one of those rare places that charms both kids and adults, making it a perfect fall or weekend family destination. Instead of pouring one wine at a time, the guy rushed pouring both flights, in no order, then got confused on which was which, then directed us to carry our four glasses (without a holder) outside so by the time we got outside we really had no clue which wines were which. They also didn't give us menus so we had to pull up both the menu and tasting notes on our phones to try and guess which wine we were tasting. However the scenic view outside overlooking the vineyard was pleasant.
